This is one of my favorite Resturant. A great environment to have a quiet dinner. The food is fabulous and reasonable. The owner and staff are the best!

Food is always delicious, warm and consistent. The meat is so tender you do not need a knife. Servers greet you promptly on arrival. It’s our go to restaurant!

What an amazing place to eat! Delicious tasting food. Amazing owner and employees. I always have a wonderful time coming. There is a lot of selection to choice from. My favorite item on the menu is the filet kabobs which are a must have!

Great place for dinner. Big portions. Got the gyro platter, meat was standard, rice and vegetables were delicious. I also highly recommend the Turkish coffee. Great service. Quiet and family-friendly atmosphere.

I hate to complain. But other than the waitress being very friendly, there isn’t anything good to say. Hummus was terrible. No flavor and bad texture. Pita bread is store bought, chicken strips were also store bought. Rice pilaf had no flavor, but wasn’t bad. Spinach Dip was served steaming hot, and I’m told was ok. I didn’t try it. Three waitresses sat at bar whole time we were there, complaining about low tips and how slow the restaurant was. My waitress was very friendly when she was at the table though. She was bad though in the sense that all three meals were brought at different times. I was only here while traveling, but I wouldn’t come back if I were local.

Went to try this place but they weren’t open. They are only open 12 to 2 and 4 to 9? Got there at 2. Will not bother going back.

Charleston, West Virginia is not known for its ethnic food. Alladin is an exception. Other than tidewater grill this is my favorite restaurant in Charleston. Some of the most authentic and delicious Syrian food in America and I have eaten in arabic restaurants all around the country(check my Unilocal reviews). The Kabab meat is perfectly spiced and extremely juicy and fresh. The hummos is authentic and full of flavor. I never ate better falafel not even in Syria especially once it comes out of the fryer. I think that these bad reviews honesty are because this food is so alien to our area that people do not know what it tastes like or what authentic arab food is. Some even called it Greek food which is wrong. The service was fast and efficient. I think one of the best things on the menu is the tabbouleh which is full of flavor and authentic. Another thing which everyone must order is the kibbeh which is extremely authentic and is very rare to find in the state. I think one thing that could be improved is the décor which is a bit outdated and the dark lights. If the lights were a bit stronger I think it would be better.

Excellent authentic Syrian food. The ambiance, the music, the service were exceptional. Unfortunately many people in this country don’t know what real authentic Middle Eastern food tastes like, and Aladdin’s definitely got it right; the meat was so tender and the salad was super fresh. I was absolutely delighted by Aladdin’s and am looking forward to my next visit! Thank you Aladdin!

I ate here for the first time last weekend. From the outside, I was a little concerned. However, when we opened the doors and walked inside, I found the décor to be simple but elegant and relaxing. We started our meal with the hummus and warm pita. It was really good. I had the Greek salad and that too was great. For the entrée, I had the filet and chicken kabob and my husband had the chicken grilled. We both enjoyed our meals very much. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. For dessert we had the baklava which was good, not too sweet but I love my baklava dripping with honey but it was still good. Not sure why all the negative reviews. I would return.

This would be a 2-star review if not for the friendly server and unbelievably good vanilla bean cheesecake. Falafel was terribly bland. Rice was seasoned with only black pepper. Shish tawook was pretty good but more spicy than flavorful. My date ate most of his kibbee but didn’t seem to enjoy it much. Turkish coffee was bad. Décor is bad. I don’t know where they get the cheesecake, but I want more of it.

Great hummus! A nice, quiet place for lunch or dinner. I enjoy the gyro sandwiches and the filet kabobs. Ask for warm pita with your humus. Don’t be in a hurry when you dine here. Service is generally slow but ok. The owner is the nicest guy you’ll meet.

Service was polite but unnecessarily slow, the place was only half full. The hummus and the baba ganoush were bland, which was the biggest disappointment. I had the chicken shish tawook which is a spicy style of chicken dish. This was ok but overall I don’t recommend it or plan to return.

Went here for the first time after reading some of the reviews. The food was incredibly bland. From the appetizers, main course, and desserts nothing had any flavor. The moussaka was good but it was clear that the tomato sauce was out of a can. This was the only restaurant my husband and I tried and vowed never to go back.

Mediocre food and service in a drab décor. I enjoy middle eastern food and this was barely OK. Save your Money. Stay home and watch Lawrence of Arabia on Demand with a bowl of popcorn!

I started dining at Aladdin’s a few years ago, and it didn’t take long for them to become one of my local favorites. They specialize in Mediterranean cuisine, but are not strictly limited to it. The filet kabobs are my favorite, served with rice and green beans(mixed w/tomatoes). Quiet atmosphere, great service, and the food is always consistent. Note to hummus fans: Unless you like your hummus with ZERO flavor this is probably not the place to order it.

Wonderful Greek food as long as you don’t care about quality. On a date with my fiancé I decided to play it safe and get mussaka. The taste of the eggplant was destroyed by the horrid preservatives from the canned tomatoes. There is nothing fresh about this place… save for their hummus. It wouldn’t be so bad if the insult did not amplify when I received a bill that reflects that of a real restaurant. From now on when I want this type of food I will make the drive to Lexington, KY.

Heard good things about this place and excited to try the food. Went there a year ago for first time and both service and food were great. Went there for a second time last week and was very disappointed with the service. There was only one waitress and one guy(looks like owner) working on a Thur night in a packed place. We had Turkish coffee for startup and it was bad! It was too strong and tasted like someone spilled coffee grounds in it. The food took almost an hour and when we asked if the food was made and if not we were thinking about leaving, the guy said it was done. No apology. He acted like we were inconviencing him. Then the waitress just dropped our plates on table. She was very rude. I understand she had a rough night but I didn’t pay to get my food slammed on the table. We never got our water refilled either. But the food was good, especially the hummus was very creamy. Pita bread was cold and stale almost. Overall, the food was great but the service was so bad that I would never go back.

Great greek salads and hummus! Love to come here for lunch. Just introduced my husband to Aladdin’s and we had to go two days in a row! Just couldn’t get enough! I am sure we will come for dinner soon! Great service too!
