Meh. I probably won’t eat here again and I’m thankful that I was given a gift certificate to pay for this meal. The crab cake appetizer was good but the grilled shrimp and scallop dinner was under cooked and not very good. Also, the sauteed spinach was awful and I believe it may have stripped the enamel off of my teeth.

The atmosphere was great. I thought the food was very good, although my steak was a little bit tough. Next time I would get it medium rare vs. medium, but other than that, I thought it was great. Their strawberry rose martini was phenomenal. However, it did take a minute for anyone to recognize me at the bar, which was a bit of a downfall.

This is a great place for happy hour. The location is terrific as it is near the outlets and provides a great Happy Hour venue after shopping. The bar scene is cool and the bartenders extremely respectful and friendly. We shared mussels and fish and chips. The meals were excellent and they do not skimp on the food.

DISAPPOINTED. Service is slow, waited 15 minutes before a waiter came to our table, food took too long to be serve and had a tough steak to chew. Manager came to our table after I mentioned that my steak was tough to chew and he offered if I want a filet so I said that’s fine. At the end, our receipt showed we were up charge to $ 7 for getting a filet without them telling me that I will be up charge. Very disappointed. It was a very special night too for it was our wedding anniversary.

I have dined here twice(both times were in the evening) and both times were superb in service, atmosphere and cuisine. Most people do love the Bang Bang shrimp but I thought they were just okay. They really shine with main courses though and the Chilean sea bass is a big favorite in my family. I have had both fish and steak. The fish is buttery and light and flavorful. The steak was cooked to perfection and came with a delicious crab cake that melted in my mouth. I could not finish my food, I became so full, and that is a shame because their dessert menu is fantastic! This staff has consistently impressed me with their genuine desire to make our dining experience excellent. I will definitely be back.

Because I’ve heard so many great things about Bonefish Grill and this is one of my sister’s favorite places, I had to try it to see what all the fuss was about. Service: 5⁄5 stars To start we were looked after by our server very well and despite the restaurant being full, we didn’t have to wait long for each dish. Food: 5⁄5 stars I ordered the lobster stuffed shrimp served with garlic lemon butter sauce with spinach on the side and the oysters Rockefeller. Both dishes were perfect and didn’t let me down when I was expecting great seafood. Wine: 5⁄5 stars There was a nice wine menu and we tried a few which were all perfectly paired to our meal. Price/Value: 5⁄5 stars Some people complain about the price but I didn’t think it was unreasonable considering the quality of the food. If you were to compare Bonefish Grill to Applebees or Ruby Tuesdays, you would be comparing apples to oranges. Even though this is a chain restaurant, it is on another level of standards and expectations. In essence, you get what you pay for. I can’t wait to come back and try something else on the menu!

1. The food priced too high for the quality and portion. A side salad with 5 shrimps for $ 10.90. Fish and chips for $ 13.90(there were 4 pcs of fish about 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide) 2. The service wasn’t up to par for the style and restaurant’s atmosphere. The server was too loud and rushed. We sat down for 5 minutes and no one greet us or take our drinks order. Our server was so rush at everything. She came by and asked how’s everything while her legs and eyes were elsewhere. Our baby was asleep and the hostess put us right next to a loud phone and next to front door. 3. The food was not eatable. Ceviche tasted like lime juice mixed with sugar and put in with the seafood. The seafood in the ceviche wasn’t fresh. The tuna fish in the ceviche was so overcooked and tasted so chewy like rubber. There was literally 1 piece of scallops in the ceviche. Fish and chip-the tempura batter wasn’t seasoned at all. The fish was toooo oily that the fries at the bottom were soaking wet and stale. We have to throw away all of the batter after many attempts to drain out the oil in the fish. The salad was too expensive for the quality and quantity of it. Just about a small handful of mixed greens with 6 little olives, 4 cherry tomatoes, and sprinkle of sunflower seeds with 5 grilled shrimps(frozen shrimps). Definitely will not come back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food is really good and tastes fresh. The best martini I’ve ever had was here: the Ocean Trust Tropic Heat martini. Sooo good. Sweet but just enough with a little kick of heat. They put a fresh slice of jalapeño in it as well. The only complaints I have are that they’re pricey and depending on the bartender you may end up with a half-full martini instead of a full glass. Pretty upsetting considering the price.

I’m not quite sure why the ratings for this place is low. Honestly this chain always have consistent good food. We’ve tried it in Denver and here and we have yet encounter any problems. Service is excellent. I was surprised of how good the Haddock was, it was flaky and tender and not dry. The sides are also good. Bang Bang shrimp is my favorite in the restaurant. The crunchiness and the tangy spice of the mayo blends good with the fried shrimp. I could have been ok without the donuts. Not one of my favorites. Maybe I’ll try another dessert next time

It was our first time there. We chose the«2 for 50 $» Dinner, which included the bang bang shrimp appetizer to share, 2 seafood entrees, and a dessert to share. The bang bang shrimp was amazing! perfectly spiced and the shrimp was lightly breaded and the sauce was delicious! I had the Grouper and Shrimp Entrée with sautéed spinach and steamed broccoli as my side. The fish was perfectly cooked and was on top of a citrus slaw. The shrimp was seasoned and grilled. The broccoli was steamed, but it came with a little light salsa mix on top. It was delightful. My boyfriend had the soft shell crab, which he said was delicious. The dessert we chose was the donuts, which were nice and dough-ey with chocolate dipping sauce. The waiter was delightful and very pleasant. We did not have to wait to be seated and the service was awesome. Will definitely come back again. We had a wonderful experience here.

Meh! Bang bang shrimp is always yummy. Thai coconut shrimp pretty good too but really anything fried is usually good. My ceviche was a 1 star out if 5 as was my blue cheese wedge. First of all it wasn’t really a wedge and it was like bottled Roka blue cheese salad dressing, no fresh blue cheese anywhere. Our server was awesome. Very tolerant of a gaggle of girls who’s real purpose of being at her establishment was to get hammered before going to see Amy Shumer.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I was visiting from San Diego. The service was very good. I ordered the Salmon and was blown away by the flavor. It was cooked perfectly along with jasmine rice. I don’t even think I chewed my food because it was gone in an instant. If you are ever in south charleston I recommend stopping by.

I ended up here because where I planned to dine was closed early the night before Easter. I was by myself – which I don’t often do, but husband was gone and I had to get out. Sat at the bar – bar and restaurant were both very busy. One bartender, in particular, was attentive despite how busy they were. I requested recommendations, and chose what he suggested – the shrimp app and the trout dish. Both were delicious! I was very impressed, especially for this being a chain. Decent wine selection, and I liked what I had. Overall, this was a good experience. Good food and service.

My updated review will consist of everything since the time of the last one. After having such an awful experience, I was contacted by two separate gentleman(an operating manager and someone in corporate) to address my issues and make it right. The fact that they took the time to genuinely talk to me(getting my email, phone number, asking me when it was best to talk, etc) really shows me that they care about customer satisfaction. I(and the hubs) stopped in here on our way home from work to give them another shot. It was busy but not as busy as the last time we went in. We were seated and promptly had our drink order taken. Our waiter(I didn’t catch his name, but I want to say it was something like Soul? Sole? I’m sorry whoever you are that I didn’t listen when you introduced yourself!) was super friendly. We ordered Bang Bang Shrimp(our go-to, always perfect) and it came out nice and hot with a nice crispy coating. At this point I decided a Moscow Mule was in order. This is probably the best presentation I’ve seen of a mule — they pair your cocktail with this ice covered copper mug with a candied ginger skewer. The pour was spot on and I could have drank a thousand more(but wouldn’t have made it work the next day). We ordered our meals — I went with one of their specials — a filet and some lobster stuffed shrimp with creamed spinach while the hubs went with a Caesar salad and fish and chips. The salad came out quickly and looked yummy(I didn’t partake this time). When the meals arrived, I cut into one of the best looking pieces of meat I’ve ever seen. It was a beautiful rare(as a filet should be) and it melted like butter in my mouth. I don’t do fried fish, but there were no complaints from the other side of the table about his meal. We ended the evening with dessert and when there was an issue(a torch stopped working — we got the Brulee), a manager came over and was very apologetic about the delay(which was only about 4 minutes). This visit could not have been more different from my last and is how all my other experiences have been. It really made the difference for me that multiple staff reached out to me and I can’t wait to go back to dine with them again.

Been here twice. This time was just before a show at the nearby North Charleston PAC. Decided to come here at the last minute about 15 minutes before leaving home, so went on-line and made reservations through their on-line reservation system. Actually showed up at my appointed time(was hoping to arrive earlier), but the lot was very full, so dropped off the little lady and headed out to the back forty to get a place to park… Of course walking back to restaurant I saw 4 open parking spaces that were not there earlier… Guess, I should have had patience. When I walked in, despite a long line at the hostess stand, my wife was waiting for me with, «they have our table ready». The wait staff were polite and friendly. The place packs folks in, so the tables are densely packed. We had a table by a wall and it was just fine. The last time we were here we had a small two top in the middle of the floor and felt like there was just too much traffic around the table. They delivered a small loaf of bread and some seasoned olive oil. Very good and I love hot bread. We both ordered a margarita, and I will say, it was outstanding, slightly tart, great flavor. We didn’t have time to order an appetizers. My wife ordered their snapper and I had their special Rhea’s Grouper($ 21.70). My grouper was portioned well, and covered with spinach and lump crab. It was well cooked and very flavorful and came with spaghetti squash plus one additional appetizer, and I chose potatoe au gratin. The meal was very good and I would repeat. My wife, enjoyed her snapper, it was well cooked, and she loved the rice that came with it. Overall all pricing for entrees looks to be from $ 15 — $ 25 for most entrees, some were more(steaks)…

This wasn’t the best dinner I’ve ever had. What was really frustrating is that they seemed to have poorly managed the transition to their fall menu. I first tried to order their grouper which was out but I wasn’t too upset by that because it’s the daily special and they likely get a limited quantity. However then I tried to order soup and they had no soup! None of either kind. That’s just poor planning. My server, Rachel, was nice and apologetic about the fact they didn’t seem to have half the menu available. The staff obviously wasn’t keeping up to date on what was available because she kept coming back to me and telling me they were out. If this happens to a customer a few times comp them!!! I ate my entire meal wondering if this level of incompetence was normal. I ended up ordering their scallop special which was good. The scallops didn’t seem super fresh but were adequate and only slightly over cooked. The risotto was uninspiring but executed fine. The house salad I had was surprisingly good. The dressing was well balanced and the toppings complimented each other well. I’m not sure if I’ll come back here. On one hand it’s some of the best food you can get near the airport but on the other hand they were pretty frustrating.

We came to see Bernie Sanders’s really at the convention center across the street and guess who came and sat behind us for dinner. Oh Yes he did! They start by giving you fresh baked fluffy bread and olive oil. No complaints here. Chilean Sea Bass. This dish is pricier than the others but worth every penny. It’s a mouth watering, flaky, buttery dish. Every bit made me smile. Corn chowder and lump crab soup. This has some bacon in it and it was ok. It was very creamy but not my favorite chowder at all. I won’t get it again but that’s fine, you can’t love it all. Bang bang shrimp. I am told this is what most folks come for and I could see why. It’s not quite spicy, not quite sweet. in a creamy spicy sauce that was almost like a sweet curry to me. It was served on a bed of lettuce and piled high in a bowl. I’d love dig into this again on my next visit. I got a blood orange drink and I did not like it at all. It was too sour and overpowering. Won’t get this one again either. Overall this place has a great décor, very elegant and modern. Expect to pay $ 15 – 20 per person but you won’t be disappointed by the dishes. I will have to come back and try more options to update my review. I need to see more dishes I love than rather skip next time.

Bonefish is one of the newer restaurants near the Convention Center and Tanger Outlets. Although it’s a chain, I’d never eaten at a Bonefish so I was excited to try it for the first time. I opted to sit outside since it was a nice day, and I’m not sure I’d do this again. A lot of us were outside, but definitely think hard about it at certain times of the day, because it’s near the airport and planes fly overhead. This happened several times during my visit. For lunch, I ordered the Florida Cobb salad and opted to add grilled shrimp. My salad came out a bit funny– it comes out in a little tube with a plate, and the server plates it in front of you. It contained 5 very large grilled shrimp, which were seasoned and cooked well. I also substituted the blue cheese for feta cheese and my order was correct. The salad was tasty and the ratio of toppings-to-greens was fine, but some of the lettuce was iceberg and it was not the best quality salad for the money. I liked the dressing and it was the right amount, I didn’t have to ask for more like I have had to at some restaurants. The salad was a bit pricey for lunch(it was $ 13.30 after tax, not including tip), but the service was the deal breaker. My server never refilled my water. I would have much rather had more water on a warm day than a salad plating. I waited a long time for the server to come out to check on me so I could ask for my check. I was on a tight schedule, so I had my card out to pay as soon as she dropped it off so I could head out, but she dropped it off and immediately turned around and left(I waited a little longer). With the service and the abundance of seafood restaurants in Charleston, I wouldn’t go out of my way for Bonefish
