Stopped into the TCBY with a friend and our kids to wrap up our playdate. They had a good selection of flavors(including gluten and dairy free options), and dividers if you want 2 flavors. There were plenty of toppings to choose from, everything was very clean, and the lady working was great. We had 4 kids under 10 who were all a little rambunctious(yes, we were THAT group, sorry!) but she was very patient with us. Pretty good, clean place for a treat in a good location!

We went to this TCBY today and I was really impressed! The store was very clean, including the toppings area, and there are dividers for your cup if you don’t want to mix your flavors. This TCBY also has hand-scooped frozen yogurt if you don’t want to do self-serve. I haven’t seen hand-scooped in the other frozen yogurt shops in this area. The self-serve consistency is a little thin, so I may go with hand-scooped next time. Either way, you just can’t go wrong with frozen yogurt. Lots of places to eat and chat inside and outside, and very convenient to the outlets and the convention center/colosseum.

TCBY is definitely The Country’s Best Yogurt. The stores in Charleston and MP are limited to self serve and hand scoops … but that’s OK with me. At any time, the store in N. Charleston offers 10 self serve and 8 flavors that are hand scooped by a salesperson and range from fat free no sugar added to 98% fat free. Today, chocolate almond(silk based) and mango sorbet were among the choices. After I made my selection and dumped some white chocolate chips, sugar free chocolate chips and a pump of caramel syrup, it was time to weigh and pay up. At a flat rate of .54 cents an ounce, the whole shibang weighed 7.8 ounces for total of $ 4.65 … not bad! I love the fact that TCBY has a rewards program, too. I build points at each visit(heavier cup = more points). Each time I reach 30, $ 3.00 is applied to a future purchase. Sweet deal!
