When we first moved here we were looking for a Starbucks and CCE came up so we tried it out since it was close to our house. We haven’t been to Starbucks since! I love their coffee drinks, especially the honey latte. My husband loves being able to choose from any of the 6 or so varieties of brew they have to add to his espresso shots. The staff is always friendly and quick getting your order out to you. If you’re looking for some coffee beans — they have a ton of choices and they grind them to your liking. They have espresso beans too they just don’t keep them out on display.

Excellent service. Cool people. Love the Harvest roast and Black Raven roast. The breakfast sandwiches are great. Wifi is solid. Place is always rocking with lots of customers so many must agree that this is good stuff.

I love the coffee drinks at the Exchange and my husband loves the whole bean coffee variety. Every time we’ve been there, the staff has been very courteous and answered his questions about their 10+ different varieties of coffee from around the world. They always have a «coffee of the week» for a few dollars off. I’ve tried a few frozen drinks, but my favorite is a «coconut and caramel» that one of the baristas introduced me to. When I asked what she liked, she told me that she makes a frozen coconut mocha, but instead of mocha, she uses caramel. It was DELICIOUS! Their pastries look great, too, and I definitely need to try one next time I’m there.

Coffee was good! The latte wasn’t great. It’s a great coffee shop ONLY for coffee. The prices seem a little high for coffee beans.

I’ll add more detail in the future as I’m sure we’ll be back. Usually we like to try new things at new places but today, we ordered things we order at all our favorite haunts: vanilla latte for the Mrs. and a sweet tea for me… Well, and a cheese danish. Prices are good, selection is good, and it smells amazing inside… I don’t even like coffee or the smell and even I found the aroma quite lovely.

Really loved this cute coffee shop right down the road from me. My sister recommended it and we stopped in today for an iced coffee and a vanilla latte. Very happy we decided to stop in. The staff was super friendly and the coffee is strong and satisfying!

We got 2 bacon egg cheese on everything bagels.(Avoid the sausage). Sandwich was good, not great. «a bunch» of bagels– were mentioned & the 5 – 6 kinds available are not indicated on their website.(BN has over 35 bagels made in house everyday) No pick up orders(call ins) Was told«1st come, 1st serve» & had someone been standing in front of her, she would have had to refuse my order? Odd. Coffee smelled wonderful, but did not order any. I have no doubt they make great coffee. Pastries looked purchased from the Bi-Lo in same shopping center. Bear claws, etc. Clean, neat & modern décor Lacking in southern hospitality & smiling faces.

Nice place to get breakfast or tea/coffee. They have small bags with coffee beans open and for sake so, when you enter the premises, you smell coffee all over the place. This place is located I a small shopping plaza with Bi-Lo and other small restaurants(not chains). The place is clean and the bartenders are courteous and polite.

Coffee was good, so if that’s your main priority, go for it! I just got a plain coffee, so… nothing too fancy. The feel is not as soft or relaxing as I would hope, but it’s not bad considering it’s a little place in a strip mall. I like the fact that they are local and close to my house, and that the coffee is good. Nothing outstanding, nothing awful.

Not very impressed. I did think it was a bit odd how they used dixie cups for the coffee – didn’t really seem an appropriate item to hold a hot steamy bev if ya know what I’m saying. The coffee itself also did not impress me… had a stellar croissant though ;-D Also the service was great. Very friendly and helpful. Decent ambiance minus the fact that there weren’t enough comfortable places to sit. The tables and chairs are all small and not very comfy on the tush tush.

We stopped in right before touring some of the plantations down the road and we’re glad we did! You would almost miss the place if you weren’t looking for it as it is off to the side near a hair salon! We tried both the drip coffees and their«buzz» iced coffees and they tasted amazing! I almost tasted a hint of chocolate in the buzz? Their pastry case looked a little empty when we came by but still managed to try their take on a sticky bun. Not my favorite but the coffee made up for it. The ambience is relaxing and the bags of coffee beans near the counter added a nice touch to the place! Definitely check this place out if you’re driving through the area!

Met a friend for coffee and she suggested Charleston Coffee Exchange. In addition to hot and iced beverages, they sell a selection of beans for home brewing. I ordered an iced buzz with caramel syrup. It was alright, nothing special. The buzz is supposed to give a little extra *buzz* to your morning caffeine rush. I found it a little weak, both in caffeine and flavor. Maybe it was a once off, and I’m certainly willing to try again. However I feel like I get a stronger flavor from Starbucks for the same price(the large buzz was in the $ 5 range). The café itself is nice. It was fairly quiet when I got there, with small bursts of people coming in. They have wifi, and several people were doing some work at tables. They sell pastries, but I didn’t try one this time. The staff wasn’t overly polite, not saying a single word outside of telling me my total. During slower periods, the girls just stood around talking rather than focusing on cleaning or stocking. Overall I’d come back. But if the next cup of coffee is no better, I doubt I’d give it a third try.

Cute little quick stop. Got a peanut flavored blend that was really nice, they were good about making it perfect for me. Cute little gathering spot also. I didn’t try the WiFi or anything, was there to just get some coffee and be on my way.

Great little coffee shop with all your coffee shop favorites pretty cool décor and generally friendly staff although I have had some pretty slow service there but I have to say that all their products are good and they have some nice little breakfast items as well and certainly a good alternative to Starbucks

I had never even heard of this place before Saturday! My friends apparently stop in all of the time, so I had to make a visit with them during our girls day out! When you walk in, the first thing I noticed was that is smelled AMAZING. There was coffee everywhere, and all of it smelled delicious. I ended up getting a Caramel Macchiato. I’ve never had one anywhere other than Starbucks, and now I will never go back. This was amazing! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee(plus, I see they have treats, so I’ll need to grab a croissant next time).

I love that this place is close to my house. Other than that, nothing is remarkable. Nothing about this place is either really awesome or really terrible. I like a few of their coffee selections, and I like how many options of coffee they have. They have decent smoothies but no special ingredients, just fruit. They usually have a couple of different bagels but never any that are different. I had a pumpkin muffin that was pretty good except it was loaded with nuts. I like the convenience and the nice staff… the seating and food is average. I’ll prob try it more if my keurig breaks.

They brew a good pot of coffee. It is self serve for drip coffee. WiFi is unreliable and constantly needs to be reset. Do not come here if you need to work on your laptop. The interior smells great, coffee beans & roaster are right behind the counter. Ample parking.
