Best Chinese takeout in West Ashley. Always very fast and delicious! Much better than Hopsings or Panda Palace, which have both gone down hill recently.

Fucking idiots can’t get an order right and don’t even offer you an extra egg roll or something to compensate for their stupidity. Shitty food.

It’s solid. The crab wontons were fishy. The lo main was good. The spring rolls were fresh. Delivery was fast. Not great. Good food worth the delivery.

Still love the food but finding difficult to wait inside, no a/c all summer, very messy, don’t go in the bathroom… Don’t look at kitchen area preparing the food…

I knew that when I went into a nasty bathroom I was in for trouble, but my hunger made me stay. After ordering chicken chow mein, regular fried rice, spring roll. I received shrimp chow mein, pork fried rice… they did get the spring roll right, but it was frozen, fresh is just always better. I did eat the S. C. M. It wasn’t that bad that’s why they get 2 stars …

The Shrimp Lo Mein and General Tso Shrimp are pretty good for a take-out place plus they’re the only Chinese delivery in the area. They’ve gotten my order wrong a couple times though so there is room for improvement.

Most everything was really good, but the crab Rangoon appetizer was tough and not especially wonderful. Portions are really large, so either come hungry or plan to share the Small entrees. We’d come back.

This place is awesome! Their crab Rangoons are delicious! We had the hunan shrimp, sesame chicken and some chicken lo Mein and everything was amazing! This has become our new go to for Chinese food! Definitely recommend this place!

Never planned on eating in but this place has great food. Take out or having it delivered are my two options. The food is fresh and always authentically flavorful. One of if not my favorite Chinese Restaurants in Charleston. Charleston is lacking in a good Chinese restaurant especially one for takeout but this place is delicious. The dumplings and wonton soup is as good as I’ve ever gotten at high end restaurants. I have tried several chicken dishes and my favorites are are pretty much everything. I did try the triple delight and remember it being my favorite. Looking at the menu looks like my next adventure will be the Four Seasons and Wonton Egg Drop Soup to say the least. Seriously there is nothing bad here especially if you are squeamish on trying new things.

I usually love cheap asian food, but this place takes the cake on the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken was mostly this mushy bread-like substance, the sauce was clumpy and gooey, and the lobby was used as a storage area so there were boxes everywhere. Please, if you are debating between this and one of the many other Chinese food places around town, choose otherwise.

Ordered for the first time and they forgot the steamed rice. I called and said you forgot my rice and was told by the gentleman on the phone who abruptly cut me off and said the driver is on the way. 30 minutes later no rice, I called again and was told nothing they can do driver is gone. Never again.

I ate here last week, and am going again today. I had orange chicken. I asked for no pork in the rice or eggroll and subbed it out with no problem. It was delicious.

Horrible service!!! Asked server before I sent in my order that it was peanut and shellfish free. They said yes. When I got home I bit into a spring roll it had shrimp in it. This really upset me bec we have a daughter with w a severe allergy to to shellfish and nuts. They were so rude and demanded we come back with food for a refund. Do not eat here of you have allergies or it could be your last meal! Thank god I tried it before I put it in front of my daughter.

My Girlfriend Mojo A.K.A Motown and I have eaten here a few times. Usually the food is enough to satisfy our Chinese food cravings but usually it is on par with a can of dog food .When I say dog food, I don’t mean the fancy kind either. Unfortunately the good places don’t deliver or are too far away. Last night we got an extra surprise with our meal, not fortune cookies, secret special sauce or chopped pineapple. Last night our sinister gift came in the form of Diarea, puking, body aches, and a bevy of other bodily tortures! Yes people we are the latest casualties of food poising from China Fun! Although we got a bad case of the notorious Beijing 2 step, we want to warn all our Unilocal friends to stay away from the China Fun, because Food Poisoning is not fun!

Last night my boyfriend and I both got home late and didn’t have the energy to make dinner. So, we decided on China Fun, because it looked tasty, the prices were good, and they delivered. Seemed simple enough, plus, how can you possibly go wrong with Chinese? It’s like sex, when it’s good, it’s awesome, and when it’s bad, it’s still not awful. Was this place awful? No. Would I recommend it to anyone else? No. Here’s why. We were told that we would have our food in 30 mins, which was perfect since it was 8pm and we were both starving. The food arrived an hour later, and when we opened it, it was apparent that it had been sitting for quite a while. Also, my bf’s sesame chicken was either under cooked, or not chicken(maybe both?)…but it’ hard to say which of those it was. While it was warm, it certainly didn’t have the consistency of chicken, which was both scary and a bit confusing. My cashew chicken seemed fine, and had plenty of cashews, just not much flavor otherwise. The soup was also mediocre at best. China Fun might be better if you’re dining in, but I can’t speak to that. After our experience with it, we probably won’t give it another shot.

Very busy little place when I went in. The people are friendly, the food is pretty good. I had the Garlic Chicken lunch special and it was more than I could eat. Needless to say, I had Chinese for dinner Also. I would definitely recommend this place. My only gripes would be that I wish it were open a bit later and on Sundays(but around here, we roll up the sidewalk by 6 pm on Sunday *ugh*), and the tables were a bit dirty.

While living in West Ashley I would have *my* Friday Pizza Night meal from China Fun. Very good, always quick delivery(tiptiptip) — even in bad, nasty weather — and hot! I always had the Combo Sweet and Sour Chicken w/friend rice w/out pork. It comes with an egg roll. Two meals! Over a year of going I had ONE time I wasn’t happy w/my meal. They didn’t remember to leave out pork in the rice. Yuk.
