Overall I enjoyed the food here, my only drawback is that the pizza was too flimsy to hold the toppings. I’ve seen others mention that, so I don’t think it was just me. Besides that, the flavors of the veggie and Margarita pizzas were spot on and the mushroom ravioli was to die for. The best part for the ravioli was that it was a good sized portion, they didn’t just toss 5 ravioli on a plate, they made it an actual meal. I could see myself coming back here.

Came to Creekside Pizza last night for Trivia and what I thought was half-price Pizza night. Turns out that’s been discontinued and it’s now half-price Bottles of Wine night. I had fun playing Name That Tune music trivia– with great prizes each round($ 10 off your tab each round. 4 rounds… For a chance at $ 40!). I ordered a Sausage and Caramelized Onion pizza. Pretty good but was hoping for better. The service was pretty awful. There was virtually no service at the high-top tables. We had to go up to the bar frequently to order more drinks. Overall, I couldn’t get a firm grasp on the place. It felt like it was having an identity crisis or in a transitional period. I left feel overcharged and underserved. I’d probably come again for trivia but would eat elsewhere.

This pizza was served as a part of an event. I have to say it’s the best I’ve had in the area. I am accustomed to the NY/NJ/CT style pizza.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We came in and the atmosphere seemed dull to start with. It seemed like a slow night. That sat us in a section with no TV’s which seemed odd for a bar, especially when there was almost no one there. But the worst offense is they took our drink order, brought it fairly quick and the waitress said she would be right back to take our order…20+ minutes later she still had not returned. We just decided to leave a few bucks on the table and leave. Terribly disappointed that they don’t value the customer and just forget about you or ignore you. We will not be back.

Their pizza is very good as well as some of the other dishes I have tried. Great little bar area. Sometimes can be very noisy. Love that the shrimp is local as there is a shrimper in the family.

Normally I wouldn’t write a bad review because everyone has a bad day every now and then but I’m writing this in hopes that it’ll help. Just left there with my fiancé. We live down the street and have really been excited about trying the place out. The facility is awesome, the view is equally as awesome, beer selection great… food not so good. Ordered some wings, they came out wrong but that really isn’t the big deal, I’ll eat pretty much any flavor, but they were really terrible. Small, no flavor, dry and no meat. Maybe I just got the bottom of the bag or something, but I was REALLY craving wings and that just ruined it for me. So I was gonna just write it off as just a bad day, but then I realized my fiancé wasn’t really enjoying the sandwich she ordered. We didn’t complain to the staff, they were nice and I’ll go back because it really is a nice place, but I hope it’s a different experience next time. When they realized I didn’t get the right flavor of wings they didn’t charge me, which was nice of them to do that without me saying anything. Maybe it’s my fault for getting wings at a pizza place, but these were really bad. Service was good though. Hope this helps.

This pizza and the atmosphere was fantastic. Beer is cold! Pizza is unique and the sauce and sausage and pepperoni is an «event». My wife and my elderly parents loved it… We have all been to Italy and traveled the World. This place has local flavor to it. The bartenders are friendly and the Pub atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend this place. We have been here twice and are going to be «regulars». I love the location right next to the intercostal waterway… And they have local SRIMP! We only eat seafood when we can actually see the SEA…

Great little place to have a beer or a pizza. Good atmosphere, good conversation, good people. The manager is really nice and he enjoys talking to his customers and hearing their feedback.

Our family ordered mussels as an appetizer and they came out and were presented completely rotten. Super fast way to get sick. The servers were nice however it is dangerous to serve food that is badly spoiled. Would not recommend because the due diligence and respect for the customers regardless of the plate, should reflect genuine concern for the safety of the customers.

Hostess tried to seat us at a table that hadn’t been cleaned so she preceded to wipe it off with her hands. We sat at a different table. Our calamari was over fried. The eggplant sandwich was all cheese and eggplant with a small bun. Fries were good. My side salad came out about five mouths after the sandwich? The bathroom sinks are modern. The toilet took two flushes for toilet paper. Name of restaurant is misleading. Thought it would be southern home cooking food then the menu says pizza? View is pretty at the back of restaurant where u can’t see the bridge.

Yummy! The pizza is great and definitely get the fried calamari. They serve it with sweet chili sauce. Drinks are little pricey if you come after happy hour. Overall we will be back again.

Great pizza! Tasty thin crusts with lots of flavor! Can’t wait to go back and try all the varieties. Shrimp and pesto was interesting — I’ve never had shrimp on pizza before. Only bad experience here was our less than enthusiastic waiter.

This place was packed on a Friday, the wait was about 40 mins. The single pizzas are a good size and I may have to take half of it home. The servers were quick and friendly. We were a little shocked at the cost of the fried mozzarella for what we got.

Have been there a few times now. The food is always delicious and spans the gamut of Italian food from the traditional mainstay pizza to chicken parmesan. It’s very spacious within and also has an outdoor deck overlooking the adjacent creek(hence the name) with a scenic marsh view. There are also stately grand live oaks out front. Dining there has a relaxed, let’s just watch the world go by feeling. On the walls are black and white pictures of Charleston from the 1800s. There are also lots of TVs playing sports for those so interested.

I was not a fan at all. We thought it looked like a cute atmosphere right on the creek but it didn’t do it for us. It seemed to hit the mark at every aspect. The building felt cold and impersonal. Service was pleasant enough but slow and not really on top of checking up on us. The pizza and calzone were disappointing.

Great pizza and bartenders. The owner is also very friendly. They have some good bands that play on Sat. Also a nice view being right on a creek. They also have ½ price pizza on Tues. Eat there regularly.

Creekside has an amazing view and they just added some outdoor seating. They are the perfect spot for outdoor events. We have been to a few oyster roasts there(where they also raised money for local charities) and the view of the creek mixed with oysters, cornhole and beer made for a perfect day. Their food is good — I’ve tried a mix of everything. The salads, pastas and pizzas are all good. The tomato basil and bacon pizza is delicious! I really like their subs(chicken/eggplant parm, italian, philly, meatball, veggie).

I think the 2 ½ star average is correct. We ordered take-out, two pies, two salads, and their«mozzarella sticks»(pictured below). The total bill was $ 60.50 which seemed really high for what we got. The mozo sticks were $ 9 for 7 small triangles of fried mozzarella. While we paid the bill and waited on the food, we also ordered two shots of Fireball. $ 13.60! Wowzers, are they proud of their Fireball. I mean come on, an entire bottle cost $ 17 at the liquor store, so almost $ 7 a shot is ridiculous. As far as the pizza, I thought it had good flavor. Ingredients were fresh. The biggest complaint from the rest of the house was the soggy crust. It reminded me of the floppy slices of NY style pizza you find out there, so it wasn’t that big of a deal to me. The salads were not exciting at all. Mostly lettuce in the box, one small cup of dressing and hardly any of the olives, banana peppers, cheese etc. I saw in another Unilocal review that they have half price pizza on Tuesday’s so I might consider going back for that deal if it’s true, otherwise no plans to head back to Creekside.

**the pics below are from our first visit. The only reason why I give Creekside two stars instead of one is because we’ve ate there one other time and had a decent experience. On this occasion we were looking for a before dinner snack so we decided to buy a groupon for Creekside. When we entered the doors the bartender and two servers walked right past us without greeting us or offering us a table. We were a little putt off, but no biggie maybe they were busy. .benefit of the doubt. We only had to wait a few minutes for someone else to notice us. We take our seats and review the menu while our server brings our drinks. We order the calamari app and let him know we are also going to get a small pizza. It’s a bit before we see him again. In a timely manner the calamari is dropped off by a different server. I was actually looking at how poorly the calamari were breaded, only about half of each ring was covered, when I noticed the long hair on top. …it happens. So we wait to let our server know. By now we hoped he would have been back to take the rest of our order, maybe even check on us to make sure everything’s ok, but nope, nothing. After over 10 minutes of sitting there with our untouched calamari and incomplete order he comes over to check on us. He’s very apologetic about the hair and lets us know he’ll get another one. At this point we are a little aggravated, but wiling to finish our meal. We let him know we’d still like to order our pizza as well. As he’s taking the plate away Matt points out the hair and he very loudly proclaims, «Oh, shit!» That’s where I drew the line. We let him know we would not be ordering anything else and would not need another calamari. As we exited out not one staff even looked at us or asked why we were leaving so soon. Do accidents happen? Yes. But all of those on top of another do not lead me to every want to go to Creekside again.
