In a hidden alleyway, the charming little shop was intriguing to explore, but once you get inside, you’ll be surprised its only half antique. Half the store is stocked with your run-of-mill antiques and other half is your trendy soaps, candles and room sprays. The upside of this half-antique store is that it doesnt smell like your regular antique store. Its worth popping in here when its crazy stupid hot outside.

This is one of the most interesting boutique shops I have every visited, and the name certainly fits. Curiosity is filled wall-to-wall with trinkets and baubles that you probably won’t find anywhere unless you frequent estate sales. I can’t speak to the authenticity(I am not an expert in antiques), but everything I saw seemed to be legitimately vintage. This is not the junk you’d see hanging on the walls of a TGI Friday’s. The proprietor was very friendly, and quick to share a little story about every item in the shop. Definitely worth a visit!

Recently my 85 year old aunt who collects old bottles found a photo on line from this retailer with a bottle she was interested in adding to her collection she had me help her try to contact this store as she was interested in adding it to her collection. She has collected old bottles for more than 55 years. After emailing this store to see if the bottle was available we got no reply at all!(see our uploaded photo). This store posts photos containing merchandise we suppose is available then when someone has interest in an item they are left hanging with no reply. We appreciate this store has some nice items but must wonder if they are really available? Our principal concern in writing this review is to warn possible on line customers of this and the fact the store will ignore your legitimate attempts to buy from them for no apparent reason.

This store is my idea of heaven! Tucked away down a street, with lots of treasures to pore over. The owner was very friendly and told us the background to where the great curios came from. She also had a wonderful collection of vintage panorama photos. Don’t miss this shop!

What a great little antique shop. Loads of interesting things in a really small space. Make sure you take your time and look because you will most definitely miss some things. Parking is limited but it’s worth driving around for a while to look for a spot.

I agree with a majority of the posts; this place is a gem, in a town where antiques can be overpriced. It was great to find a place where I felt everything was unique and priced fairly. bought several items. I always stop into this shop whenever I visit Charleston.

Very small. Some cute jewelry, but besides that, nothing too unique. I’m sure they get some better items in throughout the year, so it wouldn’t hurt to stop in!

I haven’t stopped wishing that this charming little shop was closer to home. The owner is so welcoming and she really has an eye for vintage. I loved the romantic antique love tokens and how she crafted them with other antique items into necklaces. I was also struck by the beauty of the antique mourning pins. She was very knowledgeable and cheerfully talked with us about the history of these items. I wish I could have taken more home with me. It would be first on my list of places to return.

My favorite hidden gem on Queen Street. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

I found this store on Facebook, and was waiting for the opportunity to go downtown to see it. It is a cute place hidden off Queen Street, but worth looking for. The owner was working when I walked in, said hello(this is HUGE for me), and was friendly. It’s a little on the small side, but had some interesting and unique antiques. I bought some cool antique printing press letters. There also happened to be a sale going on while I was there – another bonus! The prices seemed very reasonable, although I am not an antique expert. I’ve saved the store as a favorite in my GPS and will definitely go back when I’m in the area!

Don’t miss this little gem of a shop hidden down the side of a building. A great, carefully edited selection of antiques, without the heavily inflated prices of some of the other antique stores in the area.

In a city full of insanely expensive antique stores, it’s refreshing to find a place where you can actually afford to buy something without having to sell an organ. Curiosity is a sweet little shop down a narrow path just off of Queen Street, and it’s full of instantly covetable items like the tiny glass bottles in shades of blue and green, the framed silhouettes(a particular passion of the owner’s) and antique cameras. On my first visit, I came away with a mounted deer skull and horns. So cool. Also, if you bring your burlap shopping bag back to the store, you get 5% off your next purchase. This is officially my new favorite store.
