Even though I already listed FreshBerry on George at 5 stars I thought it was worth letting folks know that they’ve continued to maintain that rating and exceed my expectations. I recently stopped in after a beautiful day for Second Sunday. I had my dog with me as many do on Second Sunday so my friend went inside to order for us while I waited outside with my pooch. One of the employees noticed and invited myself and my dog inside plus he then brought my dog a little bowl of water. I had recently reported that they include 3 toppings on your froyo but it turns out they’ll pretty much put as many as you want on. The customer service here is always outstanding and continues to be a choice spot for me to satisfy my sweet-tooth.

Excellent frozen yogurt! A little pricey but a good treat that is worth it after dinner!

I’ve tried lots of frozen yogurt places in Charleston, and I really liked this one. I’d say it’s my favorite but well… it’s pretty far from my house. However, it has the best format of froyo because it’s really clean and all the toppings are behind the counter. So, if you’re not into a yogurt buffet, this is your place. You can get one or two flavors in 3 sizes(small is plenty big for one person… or possibly two) and a couple toppings. They have pretty traditional toppings– candy, fruit, etc. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary(I’ve seen some fro yo shops with 10 different types of cereal on the bar– I mean really!). Or, you don’t have to get toppings at all– and they won’t give you a hard time for it. My yogurt was no sugar added, fat free vanilla… with heath bar topping, some chocolate sprinkles, and a wet walnut or two. It was delicious! They have about 14 flavors, I’d say. The best thing is they make it all for you– so you pay a flat price per cup and it’s about the same as it would cost per ounce anywhere else, but without you having to work. It’s also very, very clean since other people haven’t been using all the toppings so they don’t get mixed, etc. If you don’t want a cup of yogurt, they also offer smoothies and popsicles.

Great location for a Frozen Yogurt joint. All the toppings you want at no extra cost, and there are lots to choose from. We had the Mango Yogurt which was very good. Everything was very clean and service was fast and friendly.

With so many Frozen Yogurt places out there. You’ve got to try to be different. We were in Charleston on vacation, we are from Virginia. I immediately asked if they were part of the Pinkberry chain. They said no. It looked very similar and was a nice store. I don’t care for Pinkberry so I was expecting the same. It was absolutely the best frozen yogurt I have ever had. I think I got a pomegranate raspberry? something like that. it was the best thing I ever tasted! It may have been more expensive, but we didn’t care it was the best we’ve ever had. We’re planning a vacation back to Charleston just so we can go to this place again. Please make sure you are consistent with your business!

Pinkberry-esq yogurt joint off of King St. that newly-opened. They have various flavors of yogurt and toppings. They also make smoothies and yogurt pops, which seem like they might be a healthy alternative. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The FreshBerry Tart flavor is what you’d normally find at Pinkberry and others. I personally prefer this over the sweeter, more traditional yogurt flavors. You can pick three toppings, and I went with the fruity ones. The fruits, however, had been clearly frozen and were pretty mushy. The blueberries was especially gross. They also don’t give you as much toppings as some other place I’ve been to, but the price isn’t bad.

This wasn’t too bad, actually kind of liked it better than Planet Smoothie. My two complaints, were that the smoothie wasn’t very smoothie-esque. It was more like a shake, not very frozen. The other complaint was that the price was a bit high. $ 5.30 for a 20oz smoothie! Come on now, that’s a bit steep, and it only comes in one size. If these two things were better, then I would definitely give it a 4, possibly a 5. The highlight was the taste of the smoothie. You get to choose 2 flavors from a decent list, I went with Pineapple and Mango. Tasted almost as good as Jamba Juice, but not quite there. I’ll be trying it again sometime soon to see if they change the consistency of the smoothies.
