This was the very best place my friend and I found to shop at on King Street. I bought two dresses and she bought one. We’re 27 years old and wanted some cute «going out» dresses while on vacation in Charleston for our ladies trip. And I don’t mean hoochie-​mama dresses. I mean beautiful, artful pieces that make you look stylish and ladylike all at once.
The prices were insanely reasonably for the younger, boutique-​style dresses (and they had a ton!) for girls our age (or even juniors) — from $ 40 to $ 90. There were so many unique and beautiful dresses and tops to choose from! We had tried stuff at Willy Jay’s, but were much more impressed with the selection, quality, and prices at Warren on King.
The front of the store had a lot of dressy casual and nighttime dresses for the 30 and up crowd (all very tasteful, with high quality). Some pieces reminded me of high-​end cruise wear with bold prints, while others were tasteful solids that looked perfectly tailored. Prices on those were anywhere from $ 70 to $ 250. Toward the back of the store are the younger dresses I talked about in the first paragraph — which explains why we missed this store on our first shopping day in Charleston. Head to the back for the real deals! They had a great clearance rack.
They also had an excellent collection of jewelry — mostly costume-​jewelry, perfect for a day of shopping or a night on the town. There were also several cute belts, purses, and shoes to choose from. A one-​stop shop!
Every single item was tastefully and particularly chosen for the store by the owner Betsy Warren, who was tidying things with a pleasant smile on her face throughout our visit. We couldn’t stop thanking her for purchasing such great items for her store! You won’t be let down by the prices and selection at this place.
