This salon is incredible! They are very friendly, caring, and professional. I have been seeing Tara since she started working here and she is the best hair dresser I’ve ever had! Kelly is always courteous and extremely helpful and Tara always keeps my hair looking amazing. If you want to be treated excellently for an excellent price, go to Kelly Hylton salon! You won’t regret it!

I moved to the West Ashley area about a year ago from Charlotte. It took me about 9 months to find a stylist that knew how to work with hair. I searched the Web for months and tried 4 different places, all that had great reviews, but nothing that compared to my Charlotte stylist.
I finally stopped a women downtown and asked her who cut and colored her hair– it looked amazing! She is the reason I finally found Sarah at Kelly Hylton & Company.
I’ve been meaning to post a review, but keep forgetting. Tomorrow I have my third visit with her and I’m looking forward to it; it’s sad to think for months I dreaded going to hair appointments. Not any more. A big thank you to sarah for saving my hair here in Charleston!!!
Also I have short hair and for anyone that has ever had short hair you know that only someone with true talent can make it look amazing!

I’ve been hunting for a hairdresser for years since moving back to Charleston. I’ve bounced around between a few people, but never really clicked any place.
A coworker recommended this place, so I poked around on their website. I’ve been wanting to dye my hair purple, and oddly enough saw a picture of one of their stylists who had some purple in her hair. I decided to give it a go.
Best decision EVER! Sarah made me forget I was nervous and told me to just go for it. I trusted her and let her decide where to put the purple and how to cut my hair. She did an awesome job. I’m now obsessed with my awesome purple hair, and tickled that I’ve finally found my hair place!

I just had my haircut by Kelly. I love it! Not only is she friendly and professional, my hair looks fantastic. Her salon is adorable. Very peaceful and soothing. Kelly is one of the best hair stylists in Charleston!
