Very disappointed that we didn’t even make it in the door. It appeared to be a pub but I guess more a bar. Since I had my 12 year old with me they didn’t let us in since it was after 8pm. I might add that the place was absolutely empty, might have been a sign.

Really unbelievable that their«dress code»(yes, seriously) requires men to remove ball caps after 8 pm. News flash to this establishment: you are a BAR. You run your customers off because the men are wearing — wait for it — a ball cap. No problem. We left.

The drinks… they tasted like cough syrup and booze but once my cup was half full I no longer cared. BRAINFREEZE is a terrible side effect of these drinks ;) The drinks did their job, a very cheap and quick way to get drunk.

I’ve been to Wet Willies in Miami & it’s a totally different atmosphere. Came here for the drinks, but of course once you start drinking you start getting hungry! Had the Mango with the Strawberry mixed! Yum… But I’m not sure if you can expect much from a place that’s known for drinks on their food. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and there was no cheese on the inside of at least 3 of them. Pretty disappointing! My step mom had the cheesesteak but it was burned so she was not so happy. In any case the manager came over and had another one made for her which we appreciated. Our waiter was very attentive…

I am not a fan of sweet, frozen drinks so you should probably ignore my review. I don’t know why I even ended up here. All I know is that after multiple beers, a sweet, frozen drink was a terrible idea. It was all downhill after Wet Willie’s. However, I do remember that the employees were all very nice. They had a vast selection of fruity, sweet, flavored, vomit-inducing concoctions. I feel a little nauseous just writing this review. Anyway, if you enjoy this sort of thing — by all means, Wet Willie it up. If you are more of a beer drinker, stay away. Oh, am I just stating the obvious? Well then.

Stopped in for a few drinks last weekend and had a blast. Found a large seating area in the back for us to relax while we enjoyed our drinks. Drinks were pre-made, cold and good. They also have jello shots that are very strong. I know that the price is a little expensive but they are frozen drinks. The no hat rule was irritating. This place is a frozen drink bar and not a classy establishment.

Husband had jack and ginger. I mixed attitude improvement with pina coolada. Nice drinks to cool off with. Staff was friendly.

I really love the Wet Willies franchise but as with every franchise some hit and some miss. This one missed. Went here with the hubby and the bar area was full so we decided to sit at a booth(esp. Since you can’t walk around with your alky beverage in this city). The place was not packed just the bar was full and their was one more set of guest at another booth. After a good 3 – 5 minutes of waiting the waitress finally came over and said hello. I asked to sample a few of their flavors— all which were lacking in the correct«wet willies taste» –they seemed to be water down or not concocted correctly. I finally decided to just get the flavor I enjoyed that the Savannah location which was the shock treatment and piña colada. Again the drink wasn’t on point but I ordered it so I made it work. I also ordered a jelly shot which was strong with alky flavor but probably better than my drink. The inside of this place could use some maintenance. The service was alright, but I wasn’t impressed. This is not one of my favorite willies locations and I won’t be coming back.

Typical frozen drink bar with a lot of selection. I was impressed with the Naked Wille. It’s their drink mix that is sugar free and offers half the calories of any of the regular drinks. All you do is order the naked Wille and choose a flavor to mix with it. I order the strawberry and it was pretty good. It’s a great place to grab a cool adult slushy on a hot day. Only down side is it’s pricey. $ 7 for a small, I think $ 5 would be a good price for the size you get

I’m not a fan of the super sweet slushes but went here with friends. Still had a great time. They loved their drinks and I enjoyed mixed liquor drinks. They had a band that played great uptempo tunes and keep the crowd very entertained.

BESTBAREVER! I am obsessed with all things slushy so this was my #1 stop while in Charleston on vacation! I would have loved for them to have sampler platters to try more of the flavors but it was fantastic. They had great options, great mixing of flavors, and great service! I will be at every Wet Willie’s I come across!

This place is all about the slushies. Reminds me of the days in high school where everyone bought 7 – 11 slurpees. Our table only got drinks so have not experienced the food. The drinks are sugary and strong: perfect combination for a night out/hopefully the morning after is hangover free. Our drink choices were call a cab(cherry/strawberry), shock treatment(lemonade/blue curaçao), and mix of mango and piña colada. The place was very open and even had a live band this Saturday night. Overall, go for the drinks, don’t count your calories at this place and enjoy a night out. Personally, there are tons of bars downtown and this is not at the top of my list but I’ll go.

Came here last Friday night to try it out for the first time while visiting Charleston. I must say the alcoholic slushy concept is quite amazing and so was the slushy I ordered. I ordered the call a cab which had grain alcohol, awesome! This drink packed a bit of a punch but tasted like it had no alcohol in it for the most part. I highly recommend the call a cab! The place is pretty big with a ton of bar space but apparently after 8 they don’t allow tank tops and despite paying for drinks they will still tell you that you have to leave, this is the only reason they get 3 stars.

Meh, is the perfect description for this place. I’ve been to Wet Willie’s in other cities, and this one left a sour taste in our mouth. 5 of us walk in, 4 of us order. It’s before 8pm, and as it’s getting closer to 8, the bartender tells us that at 8pm we’d have to leave because one of our friends didn’t have sleeves on. Okay, I know places have policies, etc, but, if you’re inside already, you never kick them out once they’re there for that. Never has that happened. So we’re drinking, waiiiiiiting for this girl bartender to be like, yo, you gots to go… We see the bouncer come from the back, he sees us, asks very politely for my friend to take his hat off, and lets us be. That’s MORE then fine. The alcoholic slushies were good, not great. So the combo of the two didn’t really please us.

Been doing Wet Willies for years either here or in Savannah. Cold, as in brain freeze cold, frozen beverages with alcohol in them and they are all great, especially when it is hot out. I only drink here, no food — so I can’t rate that. Ask for your samples.

As a lover of sweet, frozen drinks — Wet Willie’s has been one of my favorite places to drink since my 21st birthday. Always order the large($ 8) — you get to keep the plastic cup! My roommate and I each have a small collection from over the years. Haha. There have been really nice bartenders the last few times I’ve come and it’s nice that they let you try a few samples… and mix as many flavors as you want into different combinations! My usual is the«banana split» but I sub the chocolate flavor for one of the others. The sour flavors(green apple and melon) are really good together too! Then again, I don’t see how you could possibly go wrong, unless you order the«call-a-cab». While I don’t ever go for the music, I like it in the background and have seen various types of music performed. Yep, this is definitely one of my favorite spots downtown!

Last night in Charleston and we stopped here for a late night drink. This place reminded me of the daiquiri bars at home in New Orleans. Sweet, sugary slushy drinks and great people watching! There was a guy playing music on his guitar. He was pretty good and played a lot of Top 40. I was impressed until he referred to one of the female employees as «the one with the luscious piece of a$$»! WTF! The drinks were rather sweet and way too strong. I barely finished mine which was banana and strawberry mixed. One of my friends wasn’t happy with hers and the server happily exchanged it for something else with no issues so I thought that was cool. I saw that they had a food menu but who would eat here? Maybe if you were desperate? Just didn’t make sense when they have such wonderful places to eat that are only a stroll away. 2 of my friends said that the restrooms were scary. Not sure what they meant by it but I won’t be back to find out.

I can’t believe other people say this place is over priced. I thought the prices were amazingly cheap. Maybe it is because I am from Philly and any mixed drink in center city Philly will be $ 8 and up. Here at Wet Willie’s there was fun finger shots for $ 3, even Patrone! Yes we got Patrone shots for $ 3!!! How can anyone complain about that. And 20oz slushy drinks which do have a decent amount of alcohol are only $ 8 and include a cup you can take with. They also have reduced calorie drinks on many flavors which were still very good and make you feel less guilty. And this is way better than just adding liquor to 711 slurpies. When adding vodka to slurpies the alcohol normally separates and gets kind of gross. Whatever they do with these drinks keeps the drink mixed without the booze separating. Our gumbo was pretty good and was also a decent price. I normally hate chains but this place is fun and I do wish they would open one in Philly. Service was also great!
