I tried Zombie bobs when they were selling outside my apartment. I got the 16 inch pizza with Jalapenos, sausage, mushroom and artichoke. Although the flavors in the sauce were great and the toppings were plenty, something went wrong with the cooking. The dough wasn’t properly spread out evenly and when it was baked the cook was uneven. Some parts were cooked perfectly while other parts of the pizza had raw dough. It’s so unfortunate because what I did eat was really yummy! I love the huge portion sizes and customization options but will rethink ordering a whole pizza next time and try for just a slice. Other people had salads and calzones and from what I saw in passing looked really delicious. The service was friendly and fast so I’m willing to try them again!

This was literally THEWORST pizza I’ve ever had. I would rather eat Little Caesars. There was almost no cheese, the sauce was piled on but tasted like straight canned tomato paste, and the crust was barely average. They were serving food at an art/music event last night and I was really excited to fulfill my munchies but I ended up throwing away half the pizza and getting food from a different food truck. Complete waste of $ 5!

Love the idea. Huge slices of pizza. The sauce taste like pasta sauce though and not pizza sauce.

I had been waiting months to try their pizza and now I wish I was still waiting. The positives are huge portions. The negatives are that the pizza was reminiscent of a cafeteria lunch room pizza masked with a jar of garlic. Very disappointing, soggy and a flavorless crust .I hate to write bad reviews about small businesses but definitely warranted in this case!

HUGE slice of pizza. I don’t think I have seen a slice that big before, it was probably the size of a medium-large pizza from one of the larger chains! With that said it just wasn’t my type of pizza. I will give it another try but when we got back to eat it the cheese stuck to the foil they wrap it in and it all came off. This would have been avoided if we had eaten it there but the location where it was prevented that(SPAWAR-Celadon).

Their food truck came by my place of work and I was pretty impressed. You get a ginormous slice of pizza. I only tried the cheese but it was the sauce that really had me excited. I would definitely try it again.

Very, very good pizza. While not absolute the best pizza we’ve had(go to DeSanos on Stuart street), my wife and I are both big fans of ZBs. Huge slices. Biggest I’ve ever seen. And terrific crust. Sauce is good(wish there were more on a slice). Toppings vary: we tend to get quite a lot of the veggie toppings: from artichoke, to spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, pesto, peppers, and so forth. Very friendly, accommodating staff on the truck. We tend to patronize Zombie Bobs when we go to Craft Conundrum draft beer emporium in West Ashley. They’ll bring in the hot slices to to the seating area inside the bar for you. So you can have a tasty meal(and a slice is a meal) while having a fantastic beer.

This is solid drinking-and-hungry food truck. I would pick it over other food trucks in town since it went down easy. However, I felt my slice was pretty lacking in flavor. The crust was not notable for its flavor or texture and the ingredients seem like they were what I’d end up with if I bought pizza ingredients at Publix to make a pie at home. The slice is HUMUNGOUS, so that is a bonus if you’re really hungry or sharing. Not a terrible food truck by any means — neither my hubby or I got the runs, which has happened with other Charleston food trucks. Just didn’t get me really excited.

Very large slices for four bucks! This is just about the best pizza I’ve had. Thin and crisp, yet foldable crust. Fresh tomato sauce and perfect amount of toppings. I saw someone with a calzone.($ 8) It was the size of a baby! Seek out this truck, you won’t regret it.

Zombie Bob’s AMAZING Pizza! Fresh, delicious, hot out of the oven pizza top with your choice of toppings. The crust is wonderful. Great crew working the truck! Follow them on Facebook to keep an updated schedule to get your slice. …

Monster-sized slices, heaped with fresh toppings, served piping hot! Hard not to like that. Could have used a little more flavor in the dough, but loved how light and crisp it was. Also shared some cheesy bread sticks with the coworkers. They were a big hit. Someone thought the dipping sauce was a bit heavy on garlic, but I say, «No point in surviving the Zombie Apocalypse, only to get taken out by vampires.» Look for this truck near your workplace at lunch, or outside your favorite watering hole to cure those late night munchies.

So they just got started up a few weeks ago, and I’m stoked that I could get in on this early. I asked for their favorite and they said the cheese pizza is what they’re all about and damn. That was a dank slice of pizza. Check them out. Their schedule is on Facebook. Hunt this food truck down!
