I loved the location in Huntersville and got a bunch of my apartment décor from there. Though this location is rather small I loved it as well. There is a lot of great furniture and and a different type of Items than the other location. I love Blacklion because everything is American made and supports small businesses and artisans. I don’t mind spending extra money rather than buying mass produced Chinese things. I ended up buying a couple great scarves and necklaces which the Huntersville location doesn’t have. I will be back to see what new items they have soon!

Like an Antique Mall without Antiques… or few antiques! This place has booths to rent for Artists, Crafters or anyone who has something, hopefully something unique! Most of what I saw I did not like, that does not really mean anything to you unless you have similar preferences! Santa Claus(not the real one, though he could probably be a good stand in) greeted us at the door — My Girlfriend/Fiancée was scared of him and kept wanting to avoid him… I have always been scared of Jolly S. Nick and good doubles! The layout of the place makes it easy to move around or go in a structured pattern to see everything if you like! Redeemed by the Soft Drink booth! Pretty Cool Idea!

Not a fan. I tried to be but I’m just not. Nothing wrong w/the layout and/or the services. The place is beautiful and the workers behind the counters are always helpful. But the prices… eek…way over priced. In my honest opinion. The lay out is great and you can easily find inspiration for decorating your home/bedroom/space. You can find shoes and other giftable items as well. The larger pieces such as dressers and cabinets are beautiful and SEEM to be a good piece but are just way too overpriced. Knowing and have built a few pieces of furniture ourselves, we just find it hard to pay for something without knowing the detail of where they found the«vintage» dresser or «repurposed» piece of furniture. *shrugs*

This is a new Blacklion store that has taken the place of the old Talley grocery store and is close to uptown so you don’t have to drive all the way out to Pineville. The store is laid out with 4 rows of «galleries» or little stores selling everything from furniture, wreaths, flower arrangements, art, jewelry, bath items and more. It’s a smaller store so it’s a bit less overwhelming than the larger store in Pineville but they seem to sell more eclectic items here than I’ve seen at the other store. And the prices looked pretty decent here. It looked like a slow day here being New Year’s Eve. I sure hope this wasn’t their normal business and that the store thrives here. I will definitely come back as it is close to home!
