Overall the wings were good. Service was up and down. My buddy got his beer in two minutes mine took ten. My wings took three times as long to get. And it isn’t in the greatest part in town. Overall all I can say was it was ok.

I had a bad experience some time ago, but since them I have gone back on Sundays for football and wings and have been overall pleased with the food and service. Good wings prices on Tuesdays and during b’ball season its great to have UVA players and the coach on a small stage for a local radio show.

I got a salad. It was not very fresh at all. That partially my fault for getting a salad at a place like Buffalo Wild Wings :-/ The bartender was nice. Some of the short blonde waitresses were really hot. The TVs were tuned to the Daytona 500 and the sound was up. So that was good.

While the service here is fine, over the years the quality has really gone downhill. Plus: no more pinball! There’s still foos ball and virtual bowling, though — and there’s always trivia. I don’t expect remarkable food from Buffalo Wild Wings, but the Chili Con Queso wasn’t hot when it arrived to the table, the app sampler was adequate(though the nachos weren’t all that), my shrimp sandwich was not awesome at all. The kids meals were a big hit, though! Having come here for years, the decrease in food quality really bums me out.

BW3 is famous for awesome wings, cold beers, and sports on TV. Most of them are a great place to enjoy a game. This one in C-ville is terrible. I have worked in restaurants, so I know a little about what I am talking about. This one has the worst and most inefficient service I have ever seen. It looks like they try to slam a server with as many tables at one time, and then the other servers just sit around and watch this server flounder… not lifting a finger to help them out or the customer. Once you are seated it can take anywhere from 5 – 20 minutes for them to even get your drink order, allow another 20 minutes for them to arrive, and once your order is in that is another 30 – 45 minutes unto itself. Meanwhile nobody asks if you want more drinks or refills, you just sit there being ignored by the staff. Then when your food comes out, god forbid you need something like extra celery or ranch dressing. It ain’t coming, ever… It takes another half an hour to get your bill and then actually get it paid. I usually have to hunt down someone who looks like they might be in charge, just to pay. I feel sorry for the owner of this joint as you can literally watch extra drink, and food sales go up in smoke due to the inefficient wait staff. I would only recommend going here at off-peak times. Fortunately, today they had to evacuate the restaurant. We went to McGrady’s instead, and had a much better experience even though it was Steeler’s club day.

In town for business and went in for some beers and a baseball game. Sat at the bar forever for a beer and again for the second beer. The bartenders personalities were lacking personality, other than the one seemed to be put off about having to actually bartend. They seemed to be really good at texting, because they did that the whole time I was there. I wonder what the manager was doing? Burger was okay though, so one star.

Service was terrible. Definitely understaffed for lunch. Beer was good and food was fine but service was slow.

I came here on a Saturday after the crowd died down at 830. While sitting at the bar the nachos are just ok. I could barely find any meat in them. Wilt image nachos with chili but I see more lettuce than chili. After that I tried to order dinner. Now that took me 15 minutes to just get the bartender’s attention to order some wings. At that point I decided to pay my tab and walk away half hungry. As far as how busy this place is or was, well the place is half empty and employees just chatting. The manager is a bald guy in a red shirt chatting away with friends and really doesn’t give a rats ass about customers.

I love the wings here and prices are great but it does get very overcrowded sometimes. If you are coming for fight night or a major sports event, make aure you come verrry early to get a swat seat or even to get in

Went in for lunch and a beer on a Sunday afternoon. The establishment was clean and the staff were friendly. The bartender gave excellent service and the manager took time to check on my meal. The wings were very good! I’d definitely come back.

Standard wings with ok service. New«boss» revoked military discount for active duty. Going to support other locals who still support military members.

Typical b-dubs. I love the boneless wings! The parmesean garlic are bombbbb! Both times that I’ve came here I have had a good experience. This last time my wings came super quick! Servers aren’t always friendly but the food is good. Except for the mac and cheese. that was nasty!

Our service was so horrible. I had to get my own drink from the bar(although our server was not busy, just playing on her phone) and I got charged for an extra drink. Our server came to the table maybe a total of 3 or 4 times. The food was decent but the bad service was inexcusable.

I’ve been dragged here on multiple occasions, and I have never enjoyed it. I don’t really like any of their sauces(I hate spicy food and even their sweet bbq is too spicy for me sometimes), and their food is just pretty meh in general. Worse than their food, though, is their service. So unbelievably bad that I’m forced to stare at the servers in complete astonishment while they socialize and I wait. Dining in is a good hour and a half ordeal just because it takes SOLONG to order and get your food, and almost longer to flag down your waiter and get your check. Take out feels like its even slower… I was there last night picking up food that I’d ordered over the phone. I walked up to the take-out register, where there were 2 employees standing, one behind the counter and the other next to me(I guess he was off the clock). The lady behind the counter never acknowledges me and walks away to find her manager(?) because she doesn’t know what she’s doing. They both come back and still ignore me. This whole time, there are 4 employees standing behind the counter socializing. I can see my food sitting on the back corner, but none of them seem to care. She finishes the employee transaction and finally turns to me to see what I want. I ask for my food and she goes over to see that it hasn’t been packaged yet. She waves the order ticket at one of the socializing workers, who promptly takes the ticket out of her hand, throws it away, and continues to goof off. Meanwhile, the manager(?) is still standing behind the counter and doing absolutely nothing. Who lets their employees act that way?! As I stare at the group of useless employees in astonishment, one of them finally looks at me and realizes that I’m growing quite impatient. They finally start bagging my order and the lady comes back to let me pay. At least the servers have a fairly nice demeanor when talking to you, but it’s hard to get anyone around there to acknowledge you exist or do anything helpful at all in a timely manner. Every experience there is very frustrating. I’m only giving them 2 stars because my boyfriend loves their food(I don’t quite get it). Otherwise, 1 star. They have an overwhelming number of tvs and a fuzzy projector if you want to watch sporting events. Drinks are crazy overpriced.

The food was great and we were served well. We were on a bit of a vacation and had a disaster with the service where we went to breakfast, so this was a pleasant change. I always love eating at B dubs

Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. Wait let me reconsider… nope still bad. I’m not a huge fan of this chain restaurant generally, but I’ve never had a terrible experience in one either. That is, until I came to this location. I have been dragged here twice, and both times it’s been terrible. Let’s start with the service — terrible. The servers obviously don’t care or are so underpaid they are forced to take out their indifference on the customers. No one ever smiles, making me wonder what sort of soul-crushing corporate nonsense they have to deal with on a daily basis. The food — also terrible, even more so than an average Buffalo Wild Wings. The nachos are tasteless, the burgers are overcooked, and the fries are limp. The only saving grace is the wings, which are average(please go to Wings Over Charlottesville instead for higher quality wings). The drinks — at least they have a good bar, and it’s hard to mess up a beer… right? WRONGAGAINCONCERNEDREADER. It’s obvious from one tasting that they aren’t properly cleaning out their taps. I ordered a Guinness and it was… flat? Huh? It tasted horrible. I’ve never had a worst Guinness. Go to Sedona, right up the road, for a properly poured beer and a wider selection. Avoid at all costs.

Went here for the first time a couple of days ago. Craving boneless wings and got some really good ones! They have a lot of different sauce choices, as well as some rub options. I went with the medium sauce and loved it. Ordered too many so I’d have a lunch box for Friday and they were equally good cold the next day. That passes the test. The cheese sticks were good and my husband enjoyed the fried cheesecake bites for dessert(I thought those were weird so refrained after eating ½ of one to try). Restaurant side was pretty deserted with only three tables on a Thursday at 5 p.m. so service was great. Bonus for having Sierra Mist instead of Sprite, but one point off for being out of ice cream for dessert. When someone just had what is spicy to their palate, a scoop of ice cream is perfect for calming it down a bit. Ended up at Cups for fro-yo instead. Will return. I work close by and it’s convenient for boneless wing cravings.

I like this place for their sports and beer but it’s terribly run. It’s sad because they have some redeeming qualities and some hard workers. Eric the waiter is particularly amazing. We were there tonight and were set to order food until the bar service was so bad we felt compelled to leave. Slow, rude, and borderline insulting. If the front of the business is that bad I certainly don’t want to know what goes on in the kitchen. Do yourself a favor and go to Brixx(or anywhere else instead).

I absolutely love Buffalo Wild Wings! Yes, it’s your typical sports bar/chain but I have never been disappointed with my food or overall experience. You get what you pay for. They have a pretty nice TV set up, making it a great place to hang out on game days, and the wings are good. They have a great selection of sauces and seasonings, and their 60 cent special on Wing Tuesdays is a great deal(if you want a lot food at a cheap price go eat there during Happy Hour on a Tuesday, when the wings are not only on special but appetizers are also half priced). It does get busy on game days, but that’s to be expected at a sports bar. The service is not always top notch(I’ve definitely spent ages trying to flag down a waitress for a refill or to get the bill when there were only a handful of customers in the place) but the staff is always friendly.

Hello, and thank you for contacting Buffalo Wild Wings Charlottesville! We’re so happy you decided to apply for a career in our fast-paced and fun work environment. Here at Buffalo Wild Wings, we strive to provide a level of service without compromise — we want to make sure our guests leave our restaurant with an experience they’ll never forget! That’s why we make all of our new hires memorize the Buffalo Wild Wings Customer Service Pledge! It all starts with the food we serve — WINGS! W: Wait! Make the customer wait as long as possible to get their food. Has the customer asked you nicely about the status of their order? Are they wondering why their beers haven’t arrived for 15 minutes, even after you respond«well, they come out as fast as the bartender can make them!» ASIFTHEBARTENDERISACTUALLYMAKINGTHEBEER? Are the customers staring at you intently? Are you pretending not to notice, even though you’re actually afraid for your life? How long has it been? Oh, the restaurant is closing? Perfect. I: Idle! While making your customer wait, make sure to stand around as much as you possibly can without doing any work. Talk to your coworkers in plain view of your customers. Laugh and joke around as much as possible — after all, you’re making $ 3.77 an hour*, why make your customer think you’re doing anything at all? N: Nonchalant! Have your customers asked you why one of them is still waiting for their food, while two of them sit with wings that are getting cold and terrible(even though they were never really that good in the first place)? Have they asked where their silverware is? Where the ranch dressing is? Where their beers are? Why their waters haven’t been refilled? What time of day it is because they’ve lost track and rapidly becoming eligible for Medicare because you followed the first two tenets of our business? Don’t pretend to care about your customers, simply tell them you will address the situation in an ambivalent and unfriendly tone, then play around with your iPhone in plain view for a little while. G: Gratuity! $ 3.77 an hour is enough, right? Sure! S: Shithole! That’s what you want the customers to think of our restaurant when they’re done eating, so they will never come back again! Additionally, make it obvious that this is what you think of where you work right now. Why would you love working at a restaurant whose service is so utterly abysmal that it doesn’t deserve to be open in the first place? It’s easy to remember the key values of our company with WINGS! That’s right, WINGS! Like«Wings Over Charlottesville» and«Wild Wing Café» — two places that might actually deserve your money once in a while! Thanks for visiting Buffalo Wild Wings! *(source: Glassdoor)
