Pizza Hut

I ordered online and requested «crispy/​well done please.» Picked the pizza up and discover it was not well done… in fact, it was so undercooked and soggy that everything slid off when picking up a slice. I will never go to this location (or any Pizza Hut) ever again. The more I think about it, the more I feel they undercooked it on purpose.

I have lived in Charlottesville most of my life. When this Pizza Hut was in its previous location (the building right up the hill from the Goodwill) — I remember it being much better… or maybe that’s because I was much younger and infatuated with everything pizza.
I have ordered from this new location multiple times for both pickup and delivery. This two star rating has nothing to do with my pickup experience, only due to the delivery, management professionalism, and food quality aspect of my experience with the «new» Pizza Hut (basically everything that could go wrong, did!) Each time I have picked up, the in store team members that have checked my order out for me were professional. No complaints there!
Both times I received delivery from this location, the same driver arrived on both occasions (mind you, after 9pm), with his car audio blaring loud, bass knocking, and windows down. Whe he exited his car to approach my door to deliver the pizza, he didn’t bother turning his vehicle off, nor did he even attempt to turn his music down. I felt as though that was extremely rude to not only me, but everyone located around my residence that had to have their eardrums blown out and possibly even their children awoken due to this gentlemen’s atrocious choice in music, bass level, and volume.
On my second (and final delivery that I’ll receive from Pizza Hut), the driver was nice enough to let me know he was on his way in advance! I heard his music from about a mile away, so I was able to have all my money ready! *eye roll* — anyway, when he arrived, I noticed that he forgot my soda, which he verified on the receipt that I ordered. He apologized, and told me he would run back to the store and head back over.
Well about an hour passes, and no sign of my beloved soda. I give the restaurant a call, and ask to speak to the manager. I politely told him that the delivery driver accidentally forgot my soda for my order and said he would be right back with it, yet he had failed to come back. I was put on hold for a few minutes. When the manager came back on the other end, he had told me that he spoke to the driver, and that the driver claimed he had already re-​delivered the soda already, and said he saw him come back and get said soda and head back out. Basically in the end of our little argument, I requested that he modify the tip that I generously provided the driver on my card to a generous goose egg since he actually never brought me a product I ordered. Surprisingly, he got defensive that I was calling his employee a liar, and he then proceeded to yell profanities at me, told me to not call back, and I was abruptly hung up on.
Real professional acting management if you ask me! Since it was only a soda, I didn’t feel obligated to take anymore further action. This is my further action, the power of the almighty Unilocal!
On to the food quality — it’s ok, nothing spectacular. Sauce over the years seems to have lost most flavor, and their new «sauce swirls» gimmick definitely does not make up for it. Topping distribution is never even, same goes with their cheese distribution.
The «new» Pizza Hut is very sub-​par and mediocre. Every time you spend money here, you are promoting a poor quality pizza experience.

incident date 9/19:It wasnt the pizza so much its that staff worker (assuming the ladies) that had their kid in there. the kid kept being nosey and kept trynna look at our phones while we were waiting for our pizza. i had to give him a couple nasty looks before he stopped then the staff worker wasnt watching their kid cause they were outside smoking. the kid kept getting and taking shit off the counter than hed hide it when someone came in. i didnt say anything cause its not my job to parent your kid and if your kid stole anything you get fired for it. this is the first time ive encountered this EVER at a pizza place and i will never go back if this happens again.

Pizza arrived 10 min after the promised time and was over cooked, missing one of the ingredients, ice cold with the crust hard as rock. Never again. I would put zero stars but can’t post without at least one star. Don’t bother :(

Ordered carry out on Feb 14 afternoon two medium pizzas, one with extra spinach, meat lovers and breadsticks.
I arrived when I was told pizzas would be ready. The pizza just came out of oven, I paid and left. Hadn’t ordered from Pizza Hut in years.
Arrived home, approx. 30 minutes away from Pizza Hut/​one way. Meat Lovers was wonderful! However, the tomato/​extra spinach pizza … well … appears they do not cook the spinach on the pizza. HAHAHAHAHA I laughed so hard when I opened the box and saw a pile of spinach leaves on top of the pizza, not warm, not spread around, but a nice little stack. I spread the leaves around and placed the pizza into the oven to finish baking. Thought I would have a breadstick while I finished baking my pizza … opened the box … hmmmm why is there an ICING packet in the box??? Oh, I see, they gave me CINNAMON STICKS! REALLY!!! Does anyone there check orders? Doesn’t appear so. Ok, I will not go back there. Waste of time and gas driving all the way across town for wrong order and uncooked pizza…
