Stopped in for a quick pizza. It was very good, and I am picky about my pizza. Great crust and sauce. It was not greasy anymore than any other pizza. The staff was very friendly and my pizza was ready pretty quick. I think some of the previous reviews are from the old owner. You definitely need to try this again. This is not Little Caesars or Chuck E Cheese Pizza.

I had pizza there, recently, so I decided to go in and have a chef salad for lunch. The salad is terrible and Im afraid to eat it. The ham in my salad looks extremely dry and the there are a few ripped pieces of turkey in it, that looks like it was taken out of a left over sandwich. the greens are really wilted and dry I the tomatoes are also dry. I paid over $ 8 for this, but I feel like I should have went to Wal-Mart for a salad that would have been half that price, and fresh also.

The pizza was swimming in so much grease that the crust was soggy. First and last time eating at Fabio’s.

My wife and I stopped in just before closing time and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The prices were fair and the pizza came out in about 10, just what you would expect. What we didn’t expect was how delicious the pizza would be. We ate the entire pizza, which had never happen before! After reading some other reviews, you can clearly see this business has their act together now and I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friemds and family.

I’ll start by reviewing the food. The pizza was ok, like what you’d get at Little Caesars or Chuck E. Cheese, but the rest of our food was superb! My husband got the Bacon Cheesesteak and I got the Penne Boscaiola. I was afraid to try the pasta because sometimes you come across bland or dry pastas. But this was excellent! Perfect penne, fresh mushrooms, ham, peas, onions… I will order it again. My husband loved the cheesesteak so much it may actually be the best cheesesteak in Charlottesville like it says on the menu. But the pizza was a little disappointing. I may get it again, may not. Maybe I need to try it with more toppings. Go during lunch and they have great lunch specials. You can also get any of their desserts for $ 1.99 during lunch. We got the cheesecake and zeppolis. Yum! The specials are on the wall, not on the menu or online. The menu apparently has a couple of errors like the fact that they are open on Sunday. It even says it on the door but I was told the hours on the door is from the last establishment that was there. Also, I could not use the Unilocal coupon that was offered for checking in. The cashier seemed really confused about it and I just told her to forget it. This is not a sit down with family type place. It’s a quick bite on the go and take out type of place. The customer service is not customer service but that’s ok. I just realize that is not their strength. I will go again or have them deliver if they really do deliver like the menu says.

The pizza is ok in itself. What stinks is the service and how long it takes for fairly pedestrian pizza. I had their pizza that someone else had bought once. Then I saw they were in an Entertainment Book coupon for buy one get one free. We were having a few people over and they were close by so I thought I would use them. The person behind the counter refused to honor their own coupon ans also refused to give me the name of the owner so I could complain. She said she was the manager and it was her decision and there was no further discussion. I did not eat there then and I will not. They need to honor their commitment and they lost a customer over a $ 15 pizza. Bad way to treat customers in a very competitive field.

I keep hearing a lot of good thing about Fabio’s but I’ve never went up until a few weeks ago. The first time I went up in there, I got the $ 3 two slice deal(heck of a deal btw) and the pizza was superb. Also got an order of wings which was also good. The lunch deals are better and cheaper than Vocelli’s. If you want great pizza and other great Italian food at a great price, then Fabio’s is the place to be!

VERY yum! Full disclosure: I have never been to NY, so I don’t know if this is NY pizza standards, but it was good! Staff was friendly and quick too, even on a Saturday night. Hubs and I split a ½ house, ½ vegetarian and it was very good! Full of fresh toppings, melty cheese and crispy crust. Very reasonable prices, and we will be back sometime to try their other menu specialties.

A co-worker told me about this place so my roomate and I checked it out. We couldn’t find it at first. It’s in the shopping center right by that Pier 1 Imports, kind of caddy corner to it. The pizza is great!!! I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY, so I know my NY pizza. The slices are big, the cheese is great, the crust is crunchy, and the price is right! They do a lunch special that gets you 2 slices of cheese pizza and a can of soda for $ 2.99! you just have to get it by 3pm for the special. I’m a pepperoni man and had a slice my first time there. It was fresh out of the oven and had a decent portion of pepperoni. The smell alone makes your mouth water! It was cooked perfectly and I was hooked since then. I haven’t eaten any pizza from other places in Charlottesville yet, but I hope they can compare. I highly recommend Fabio’s to anyone reading this! The staff working there is great. They bring the food out to you if you dine in and greet you with a smile. The restaurant is a small dine in type, like any other family run pizza shop. It’s clean, well kept and has a cool atmosphere to it. Go check it out!
