Floors Are Us

We had hardwood floors installed in our new home by Floors R Us. The initial work was fine and we were happy with the service. Unfortunately, the finish work has been a major hassle. The shoe molding that was supposed to go in two of the rooms was the wrong color. When the men came back with the right molding they didn’t have nearly enough to finish the jog. There is a joint between two floors that are different kinds of wood. On the first try, the installer mis-​cut the bridge piece, so we had to wait for them to order a new piece. When the second piece came and was installed, it didn’t match anything — not the oak floor or the teak floor or the other bridge pieces that had been installed in other locations in the house. We did not feel that the people at the store were responsive to our problem and we have had to chase them around to get this resolved –despite the fact that we still owe them money !! We would not recommend this company.
