It is unbelievable how horrible Sears Repair Service is. I will never buy a Sears appliance again! It has been 7 weeks and I have set aside 5SEPARATEDATES/TIMES(from 8am-5pm because that is how long their window is for repair) for someone to come repair the dryer and every single time there has been some sort of mistake or mishap. The first technician that diagnosed the problem told me it was a control panel issue that would be $ 300 per washer & dryer so he told me to get the protection plan for 1 year to cover it. The 2nd time this same technician came he told us it was a vent issue(not the control panel) and said he needed to order parts and someone would come fix it once the parts were in. The 3rd time Sears made a mistake and sent a refrigerator technician to repair the dryer, 4th time, no one showed up, 5th time again no one showed up and then I received a call saying the repairman didn’t show up to work, and the 6th time was today and the repairman said we needed to get the vents cleaned before he could repair the part and so we have to wait another 3 weeks to get it fixed. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service and I really wonder what kind of company is okay with this kind of service. I have never had such HORRIBLE service from any other company EVER! I will be taking my business elsewhere and encouraging everyone else to do the same. I have been totally inconvenienced over and over again and I have no faith that my dryer will ever be fixed. No one should ever have this kind of experience!

Please take heed. Do not, under any circumstances buy appliances from Sears. My Kenmore stove broke 5 months after purchase. A month later, I am still trying to get it repaired. They are unwilling to help, unresponsive, and rude. Their«windows» are 8am to 5 pm. And they give you 15 minutes notice before they come by. They will wait no longer than 5 minutes if you come from work. Con men. If you do buy something, good luck, because you’re going to need it

Have a Sears«Elite Kenmore Elite» dryer that stopped working in May. Four service calls and out over $ 300 in repair bills later we still have a dryer that is broken and doesn’t work. The earliest date Sears can schedule for next service on our dryer is July 24: a full month from last service call by Sears technician. Last night I received call from Sears marketing to try and sell me $ 200 serve agreement to cover future repair bills. Sears really think their customers are dumber than dumb to throw good money after bad. I will never buy another item from Sears. They suck with customer service… period. The only way I could post this review on Unilocal was to give them one star. In reality, the deserve«0» or negative.

We purchased A Kenmore wash machine from Sears less than a year ago. Luckily we purchased the extended warranty in which we had to call due to the machine stopped working. We had to wait for 30 days for a service appointment. After the machine was fixed it worked for a few days, then the same problem occurred again. I called Sears again, in which they made us wait 2 weeks for a service appointment. The service technician just came yesterday to fix the machine and the very next day the machine is doing the same exact thing. Now Sears is making us WAIT2MOREWEEKS. I WILLNEVERBUYANOTHERAPPLIANCEFROMSEARS. I wouldn’t recommend buying an appliance from SEARS. Product SUCKS! Customer Service dept should all be put through Remedial Training on How to Really Take Care of Your Customers. They put their customers through«HELL» before they will replace a «DEFECTIVE» product.(Even if you have an Extended Warranty) If I could have, I wouldn’t have given any Stars as a rating, it would be Negative –5 stars, for what we have been through and what we continue to go through with SEARS, but I had to give at least 1 star. But Sears in no way deserves any stars.

I had the humidifier on my HVAC serviced. I expected to need a new one, but the technician found a faulty valve and replaced it, and now everything’s working well. He also did some rewiring and pointed out shortcuts and a code violation made by the HVAC installer 4 years ago. The technician also explained in detail what he was doing and reviewed with me instructions on operation and maintenance. I could not have been happier with the work.
