The bagels are very good, but when you get home your bagel will most likely be wrong. Can’t tell you how frustrating it is when you get home and you have the wrong order. Could very well be the language barrier. You think they would get it right when the ask you 5 times what your order is.

I get grossed out when the same person who cuts the bagels collects the money. They use gloves but there are still issues where germy hands touch bagels. BECAREFULNOAH’s people are watching this as they stand waiting. Not good for business or healthy. Your bagels taste fantastic, but…

I will not step foot into this place ever again. I never liked their bagels, but they used to be the only place in town. Now that Bagel Café is here, no reason to come to Noah’s. The owner is a *%#!+bag! Bagels are on par to Lenders, cream cheese is never spread on bagels, but they leave it on one side of the bagel in a big clump, EVERYTHINGISMICROWAVED, they don’t have a grill! They also do NOTHING to support our town/school. Not only do they never donate to our school fundraisers, they don’t even give us a discount. Bagel Café supports all the town/school fundraisers, they are super nice & their food/bagels are delicious! Cross the street & go to Bagel Café, you won’t be sorry.

had a bagel with egg, sausage and cheese and definitely one of the worst sandwiches i have had. everything is microwaved!!! from the egg to the sausage… very disappointed with this. the only thing that allowed me to give at least 2 stars was that the bagel was actually very good… that and the cream cheese probably only fresh things made(i think). definitely would not go back here again… very disappointing

Short answer: Best bagels in Morris County, possibly North Jersey. Not so hot for their warm sandwiches where they use a microwave. Where do I start with their bagels? I’ve had most of them, but my favorite is the whole wheat everything. I’ve been to all the other bagel places between Livingston, Madison, Chatham, New Providence and these are hands-down the best. A bit crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside but still meaty enough to be a bagel. Their sandwiches though are only ok. I tried a couple, even after standing online one day, seeing someone order an egg and cheese and horrified that the microwave was the main cooking device. I tried it anyway and while the bagel used was phenomenal, it wasn’t good enough to fix what was going on between. Tip: Line gets long in the morning. The fact the bagels are best here is not news to anyone who lives in this area. On Saturdays, seems to get really bad between 8:00 — 8:30am.

Bagels here are amazing. While wheat everything and their mini bagels are our favorite. Bagels alone get five stars. However their prepared foods are less awesome. They don’t get the right ratio when putting on their toppings(too much cream cheese so get it on the side). Also microwaving your egg and cheese sandwich is a fatal flaw. But the Bagels are awesome!

Very pleased with the fresh fruit cup today. Nice selection of: 2 kinds of grapes, pineapple, melon, cantaloupe, strawberries, and blueberries. Tasty and nutritious. Delicious coffee. Staff was pleasant as usual. Good job!

Let me first start off by saying I had an issue with their service — so I contacted the owner(Jed) and he handled my situation in a very timely, attentive and professional manner. Jed was very apologetic, invited me to the store to speak with him to discuss the issue and it was rectified. I applaud his willingness to meet, listen and take action.

People rightfully complain about the poor service(especially for customers who are new and have not yet mastered the art of phrasing their order in the precise way that the employees like) but Noah’s continues to cook up the best damn bagels in the area. So. Good.

Wow, this is your place for microwaved bacon, microwaved eggs and wait for it… microwaved bagels. Easily one of our worst food decisions.

I live in Chatham and have been going to Noah’s Bagels for the last 3 years. I have to say the bagels are good, but the service is HORRIBLE! I make this review after being serviced by everyone who works there many times over and it is the same bad service EVERYONE time. It’s ashamed because we like their bagels, but I refused to go back and continue to give them my business. I hope many other people do the same and their business starts to suffer because of it. First and foremost should always be good service especially in a small town like Chatham.

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review about something. I know it affects their business, and I take it very seriously. That being said… I’m not high maintenance; if I ask a question about cream cheese, please just answer it. Don’t be nasty. Perhaps even look me in the eye as you answer the question? I know you’re busy socializing with your friend who isn’t even patronizing your business, but it will only take a second. Next, cleanliness is very important to me when I eat out. Please don’t let another customer dig through MY food. It’s mine, and I expect it to be handled with clean hands. And lastly, the muffins were old and that was made clear by the way they tasted. In summary, there are MANY bagel stores to choose from, and I suggest trying one of those next time you are hungry.

I may have had a complicated order I guess… 1 toasted bagel with Taylor ham egg & cheese salt pepper ketchup, another bagel same way no egg and another bagel toasted with cream cheese… As I’m placing my order the employee stops and starts helping another costumer I guess with a much easier order. After 5⁄6 minutes he tells another employee to continue making my order. I wasn’t upset that now I’ve been there for 20 minutes. The fact that they didn’t have my first 3 choices of bagels didn’t bother me that much. Just the customer service from these clowns. The fact they microwave the eggs??? I live down the street but I’d drive 3 towns over before I go back there. Hate to leave a negative comment, but customer service here was terrible.

Bagels are good, but overpriced(but aren’t all bagel places?). I gave it only three stars because of the service. Some employees are mildly pleasant, but some are lacking in the manners department, and some have even seemed annoyed on occasion. In particular is the young guy, who seems to be the owner or his son. I’ve never seen him smile and he never thanks me for my business. I didn’t realize they only accept cash and he rolled his eyes at me(I hate that)! Looking for another place to spend my money.

How can this place consistently get orders wrong and still be in business? I live close by so I regretfully keep finding my way into Noah’s. Service is horrible, plain and simple. This review is not based on one bad experience. They consistently disappoint. DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEGOINGHERE!!!

The best bagels ever, and the special lunches are good and low priced. And very busy place but very organized and fast. Very friendly workers, Service with a smile

Plain and simple a Chatham town staple. Line is out the door every weekend and for good reason. Nearly everyone who goes there has been doing so for years so the staff is not the most patient with«new comers». Either way this is the place for bagels.

As others have mentioned, asked for a Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese and got microwaved eggs and Taylor ham. .. and got a sesame bagel when I asked for whole wheat. On top of that, I’m not sure if the woman helping me could have looked more pissed off that I even existed. Oh, and it’s cash-only. Never again.

Yes they are quite an institution in new providence and Berkeley heights and yes their bagels are quite decent. But they serve those premixed eggs in a bottle and cook them in the microwave! So I stay away from here when I am craving for my egg sandwich. They also never write down your orders so be ready to repeat a few times or else you will be missing a condiment from your order. Aside from that they do have pretty decent fish salad spread — not exactly what I typically crave for breakfast but once in a while I do feel like one. Be ready to spend close to $ 10 for it. With new breakfast delis offering bagels(Daham) in the area I frequent Noah’s bagel less and less these days. They do have a few small tables if you prefer to enjoy your meal on site. I give them credit for a catchy name though!
