IHOP

I don’t even really think one star is worthy. Hardly anyone in there when my grandson and I arrived. Place looked untidy but we were hungry. Took a bit to get waitress attention and then some for coffee. Breakfast was fine (had to ask twice for auger free syrup) until I got to the last few bites of my pancakes and found some spinach residue stuck to the bottom of them! YUCK! Dirty plates! Made me think what else wasn’t cleaned! I told the waitress and her remedy was to give me the .50 cent senior discount. Really? Never going back to this location.

It seems ridiculous to give an IHOP 5 stars, but I’ve only been to this one twice. Both times on International Pancake Day, I’m guessing one of their busiest of the year based on the amount of traffic at least. The service we had was quick and our server was excellent. Lourdes, our server, was kind, quick and for lack of better terms was busting her ass. IHOP doesn’t have the best food but at least they have Lourdes (awww)

I’ve worked in Chatsworth a very long time and have been in this ihop maybe a handful of times. Service is never really top notch but not bad. My mom and I had breakfast there this morning and will probably find a different location before ever coming back here again. There was a homeless man that came in looking to get some food. He was a little rude to the manager who then asked him to leave. Needless to say they got into it and while the manager was on the phone (i’m assuming with the police) the homeless man decided to address the room of seated customers. Apparently he was speaking to me (which I didn’t know) because shortly after I was berated with accusations about how I wouldn’t help him. The manager said not one thing. He literally helped everyone but the four customers (my mom and I and the two women sitting behind us) that had already been seated. The way the manager handled the situation was absurd and honestly embarrassing on his part. Instead of helping this man he belittled him and sent him packing. The waitress was nice and attentive but still, like the manager, didn’t address the situation to her customers.

How do I leave no stars? I was getting picked up at the metro but it was so windy I decided to walk here for coffee and pie or something while waiting for my ride. The place was empty and tge waitress was annoyed i came in and interrupted thier convo. When i statedI just wanted coffee and pie, she replied «we dont have pie and you cant have just coffee».
Wow… way to go on customer service! I walked out and will never be back. And i live nearby!

Came for breakfast and tried the banana bread french toast regular combo and it was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Always can depend on good food and service at ihop.

Lourdes was a pleasure! She recommended the pumpkin pancakes and they were absolutely incredible. She was super friendly and sweet. The wait time was very short and her service was great.

Even though they were busy we were able to be seated immediately and we got our food quickly. It was SO good, I don’t know how they made it so good. All of it, the pumpkin pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, strawberry banana pancakes & strawberries and crème crepes.

Horrible experience!!! Went with our two kids this morning. Took our order and didn’t return for 30 minutes. I get the manager only to find out our order got lost and was never made. He said they would make it right away. 15 minutes later, nothing. My kids are freaking out at this point! I get manager again and he checks on it. Then the waiter brings the adult plates and nothing for the kids! 5 minutes later the kids get their food. The food was terrible!!! We watched several tables be served and leave while we waited. Then to add insult to injury, the manager offers $ 10 off! Needless to say. They ended up covering the entire bill!!! I will NEVER go back to this restaurant!!!
Oh and there were two waitresses taking a food break at 8am when the place opened at 7am!!! Wth???

I have eaten in many IHOP’S before and have met many waiters and waitresses but this lady LOURDES #116 was Amazing she was taking care of 5 tables on her own and did a great job keeping everyone happy and was definitely in top of her game, too bad their isn’t many waiters/​waitresses with the same attitude .SHE WAS AMAZING. IF I’m around the area I will definitely come to this ihop.

Oi. I had a feeling this would be dicey. So boyfriend and I came to have breakfast late this morning and everything was good until the food arrived. The place was pretty empty, as it’s the middle of the week. Our waiter was very polite and fast. We put in our order and it was out fast. I got waffles and chicken which came out perfect. On the other hand, boyfriend ordered a basic breakfast– eggs, bacon, hash and toast.
The first plate had a huge hair in it. He picked up a wad of food and there it was. He was lucky to not have bit right into it. There was a waiter close by so he let him
Know and our guy was there fast. He came and cleared the plate and his utensils and apologized. I could hear in his voice that he was disappointed as well that our meal had been disturbed. He goes and quietly tells the kitchen staff through the window what the deal was. It was just quiet enough to hear him tell them and ask wtf? Lol. Good.
Plate two comes out and it looks good. No visible hairs, alright. He starts digging into his new food and he tastes that the bacon was off. It was maybe cooked too long in a grease and didn’t have much meat flavor, just grease. The eggs were still clear and runny with uncooked whites moving like sludge off the toast. Ew, undercooked egg. Yolk, inedible. Hash browns were better on this plate than the first. Cool. Then he dug into the eggs where lo and behold there was yet another hair. It was small and kinda curly, and REALLY deep in the egg. After the first hair he was examining the plate well and after that, he just gave up. Clanked his utensils as he set them down on his plate.
It sucks to go to a restaurant and have them fk up their most popular dishes like friggin eggs. Overall, I will say that our waiter was awesome. Next, the kitchen has got to be dirty, not following proper procedure, and the cooking surface is not being cleaned often enough between foods being cooked.
Not returning for this experience. Sucks that our waiter had to show face for the bad kitchen staff. It wasn’t his fault although he was clearly unhappy at his service being diminished by the kitchen’s issues.

When you go somewhere and are sure you left something on the table you want to feel comfortable that they’ll return your things. Well i feel like they pocketed it. So i will never go there again. Yes its my fault, I left it there but who ever cleaned the table and found it know’s the possession was of value and kept it. To me thats bad service. The food is the same as all other IHOP’s nothing special. So if you’re a forgetful person don’t go there and if you do make sure you don’t leave anything behind because you’ll never see it again. Sometimes honesty is the best service

Ok, read most of the reviews, my dinner is listed at 8.99,got an ice tea with that, total was 18.68,wtf?Service was horrible, hostess looked at me as if I had a creepy illness, this place is on the way out, and please someone expedite this soon, these people don’t belong there, and would probably be better at Big Lots!

The 4 stars is for our waitress and the food. I would give it 1 star for the manager who was beyond rude. He came to give our waitress a hard time about another table as she was taking our order. I felt that this should be done privately. The waitress LuLu was great and the manager was an asshole who in my opinion should really learn how to do his job anf not disrespect staff and customers.

By far my worst IHOP experience ever. ¾ orders were incorrect. Had to send the one correct one back because it was under cooked. Then I look under my pancakes and my friend and both are burnt, I had to take a picture. Very unsatisfied. Not going to return.

We usually enjoy coming here. The manager this morning, a middle aged man, was not at all welcoming. No smile. No greeting just a very unhappy looking face. This sets the tone for the whole restaurant.
Not what you expect in a breakfast setting. Our waitress was pleasant but overwhelmed. It took 20 min to get our check. Thankfully the food was good. Hire more staff and get a happy manager.

Just angry because they gave me the more expensive combo knowing full well there’s a lower priced one that gives the same if not more. Sadly there’s no flappy jacks out here so I’ll be back. If you come here make sure you’re completely clear on your order so you don’t get over charged.

Honestly the worst Ihop experience EVER! Service was extremely slow, seemed like the server didn’t want to work and was annoyed. I finally got my coffee and there was lipstick all over the rim of the cup! Dirty dirty dirty! Trying to get someone to change it out was a joke. I ended up having to go up to where the servers get the food and asked the manager for a cup without lipstick. He asked who my server was and brought me a cup. At no point was there any acknowledgment of their wrong doing or an apology. I am completely disgusted with this place and will not return.

Overall, this is still my favorite one in the area and the one I frequent. Its in a nice location and the inside has been clean and they keep it in good condition (I wish some of the others would do the same). Even though I have several IHOPS near me I drive further just to visit this location. Parking has always been available every time I’ve visited (weekdays and weekends) and they have a good sized lot. This location is in a dedicated space which is nicer than some of the other locations which have parking challenges as a result.
For the food, its been consistent but I only order breakfast, even if its at night so can’t speak to their other food but why mess with what they do best. I generally get the steak tips which are awesome, eggs over easy which I don’t recall a time they’ve come out wrong, hash browns have been consistently toasted crispy and the pancakes make a great dessert for home later. I tend to order the same thing every time (especially since the corned beef hash is no longer on the menu) and so I like it comes out the consistently every time.
Service is the area that tends to be a little variable. Generally its pretty good and there are a couple waiters that have done really great but there have been a couple visits where other staff were chatty or away for long periods.

My boyfriend and I were craving IHOP French toast & pancakes. Went to 3 different locations. since it was a Sunday right around the time churches let out each one had a ridiculous wait. Finally landed on this location (4^th stop). Walked in and got seated within 10 mins.
Waitress came and asked for drinks. Since we already knew what we wanted we were ready to order when she came back with our drinks. I didn’t time our food but it seemed we were waiting a long time for French toast and pancakes. After the food came out the waitress only stopped by once to check if our food was okay. We finished our food and were extremely thirsty because the waitress did not bother stopping by again to ask if we needed anything else. We sat there for 10 – 15 mins with empty plates and still no drinks, sucking on ice cubes because we were so thirsty. She finally came around and instead of asking if we needed anything, she dropped off the check. I needed to grab her attention before she walked off so I can ask for a refill. Took another 10 mins for her to come back to pick up the check.
2 stars for not having to wait long and for not being stingy with the food servings.
