Maxi Muffler Shops

In my 35 plus yrs. of owning & driving cars... Going to this Maxi(Muffler) is the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a car repair shop... I originally took my car there for "check engine" light that was on.. Code at emissions said possible O2 sensor issue... I dropped my car off on Monday night, and it was Wednesday before BRIAN contacted me... BRIAN led me to believe, that they would look at it the very next day... When BRIAN, finally contacted me, he said it was my "INTAKE MANIFOLD & GASKET($680)" leaking, they replaced that by Friday, I picked up car after work, drove 10 miles, and "check engine" came back on, and was "puttering"... I took my car back to them on that next Monday, he called and told me, "OH, it does look like an O2 sensor is bad and also I might want to change my fuel filter, because that is what is causing the "puttering"($280). I went back to pick it up, and the other mechanic had "test drove" it, came in shop office with his hands covered in BLACK GREASE & OIL, AFTER GETTING OUT OF MY CAR!! HE told BRIAN, there was still a puttering issue, Brian asked to keep car another day to trouble shoot the problem... The next day BRIAN sent me a text, for some odd reason, when he normally called, and text, "your car is ready"... I get off work, go pay for the work, just before closing time, so I could come back later, and pick car up, after hours... I drove my car not even 10 miles, and it just CUT OFF on the road!!! I got it to crank back up, and luckily my house was only a couple blocks away... I am having my car towed to another service shop, because MAXI, on Broad St. OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.... Do yourself a favor, find ANOTHER SHOP to take your vehicle too, at this point, I wouldn't even let them pump air in my tires!!! I've only written one other review for a car repair for 'GOOD SERVICE", THIS THE FIRST, AND HOPEFULLY THE LAST FOR VERY BAD SERVICE!!!!
