It appears to me another yeller confused this location with the one on Broadway street in chelsea. That one is a mess. This is my preferred pharmacy/convenient store around. Plus it’s a wonderful location. You could go play paintball across the street and come here to get ice for your bruises. The store is always clean, staff is nice, helpful and not hard to find. I have never faced a difficulty in shopping here in the 6 years of living in the neighborhood.

3rd time I been to this CVS location and all the experiences are exactly the same, terrible! From the second you walk in it looks like a dump. It’s dark, dirty and has absolutely nothing on most of the shelves! The shelves that do have items on them are a mess too. Everything is knocked over or misplaced. Just a huge cluttered mess! The shelves that are empty, you can tell it’s because the associates just don’t care enough to do their job and you can tell that the moment you walk in. Also just now, there was only 1 person ahead of me in line and they were already being waited on so i knew even though only 1 checkout lane was open, it would go quick. Boy was I wrong! The associate at the register had no clue what she was doing. It took almost 10 minutes for her to scan 4 things and finish the check out process. While waiting my turn 6 other customers lined up behind me, so now that’s 7 of us waiting to be checked out. Not once during this time did the check out girl call for back up or anything. There also was an associate in the photo section who didn’t do anything either. Then about a minute before the woman at the checkout was finished, finally another CVS associate walked over and noticed the huge line and opened a new register and even apologized for the delay. That woman is the only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1. I went to her register and was checked out in just a minute and I had the same amount of items as the woman in front of me when I was waiting at the other register. This associate helping me was so friendly and asked if I found everything and such. While waiting in the other line prior, not once did I overhear that staff member ask the woman she was checking out any of that or even greet her. The associate who was amazing that checked me out was named Sarah. She should be promoted to manager and then maybe this location would be up to par with the other CVS locations that are great. This location sadly needs MAJOR improvement.

Last month while I was at this CVS, I was witness to a foiled theft attempt and it was pretty intense. When I went there at 8:30 pm this past Saturday to pick up my prescription, I was greeted by a security guard. As I kept walking, I was dismayed to find the pharmacy closed. I asked someone what was up with that, since it was a 24-hour store, but she told me they are no longer 24 hours. They now close the pharmacy at 8 on weekends, while the rest of the store closes at 10. I don’t know what the reasoning is for getting rid of the 24-hour status at this brand new location, but my guess is that the crime might have been a little too much. It can get sketchy in that area, especially at night, but I am disappointed because now, if I happen to need something in the night, I’ll have to go to the gross CVS in Northgate. Boo. I still have love for this location, but I hope that eventually things will look up and they can go back to their 24-hour status.
