Phở had no flavor no taste Pork summer roll no taste Veggie pad Thai no taste While the food was fresh it really did not have much flavor at all. The Cherry Hill area is blessed with so many Vietnamese restaurants that I would’ve expected this establishment to have had better food

Best phở house I’ve found outside of Philly! Had the #59, and summer rolls. Good food, fast and attentive service. What’s not to like?

Kind of a hidden place but it is one of my favorites! The only thing I’d complain about is there wasn’t really a connection with the wait staff. Each time I go it’s sort of «I want this» and we don’t really speak like at other places. But I love the phở! Simple and delicious.

Ate here several times already, and I’ll definitely be back. Their fried calamari is by far the best I’ve had anywhere. Lite batter and fried herbs and onions to accentuate the flavors. The Phở soups are Phenomenal! We have had seafood, beef and chicken all big winners with flavor and taste.

This place is great! The phở is authentic, fresh and delicious. The staff is kind and helpful and the restaurant is clean and attractive. I had the chicken phở, my husband had the beef stew phở and we shared grilled pork spring rolls. We also had bubble tea. The prices are fair and the servings are large. I will definitely come back here the next time I’m in Cherry Hill looking for a good meal.

When I walked in the décor of the restaurant is very colorful, trendy and super cool to be in. I found myself looking around to see all the decorations. The décor got me excited at how awesome the Phở was going to be. Sadly like others said its is only OK. Firstly they serve the Phở in weird shallow bowls that is super uncharacteristic of all the other Phở restaurants I’ve ever been to. Made me feel like they were trying to save on the amount of broth they give you because it’d only be enough to submerge your noodles. I got #91 which was a combination Phở bowl, stupidly I thought it’d include the beef balls. NOPE sadly mistaken. The brisket was well done(not much flavor) and the broth wasn’t great. Given that the restaurant is largely operated by mandarin Chinese speaking employees I can only imagine that that’s the main reason this Vietnamese Phở was slightly lacking in robust flavor. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, but when you restaurant’s name has«PHO» in it, I’d at least expect it to be on par. However I’ll give them this crutch of it was a DEAD Monday night when I came in and there were a total of 4 other diners in the restaurant. However does poor turnover equate to poor quality? YMMV. TL;DR: Phở is Ok. Not great. Would not go back given relative area competition. YMMV. Chinese employees not Viet.

Came back to visit the restaurant today and many things have changed! Neater, brighter and cleaner! Was craving for Vietnamese hoagies and spring rolls, but I think the recipes were cater to the American-Vietnamese taste; it is not authentic Vietnamese 100%. However, overall they are pretty good.

PROS: Nice décor, attentive and friendly servers, clean, slightly some untraditional menu items CONS: Phở broth is a tad on the salty side and lacking in meaty and spicy flavors, Banh Xeo was soggy and not crispy at all, shrimp was small and pale like frozen bag shrimp Overall I would not make it my regular Phở place but it does look very nice after its appearance on Restaurant Redemption. There are some riffs on the traditional Phở that are interesting but without the broth to back it up I will have to pass.

It has been well over a year since I was last here and what a pleasant surprise! The inside has been completely redone and is such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was more than welcoming to my 9 month old son and me and the BEEFPHO is out of this world! We will be back as soon as we can! Thanks Phở Barclay!

Delicious food, fast service and receptive servers. Inexpensive as well. Will definitely be coming back. The plate of bean sprouts, hot peppers, limes, and sweet basil to be added to the phở was well presented and added more flavor to an already tasty dish. I truly had a phogasm.

Not the worst phở I’ve had but also not the best. I’ve been here twice now and both times it has been about the same. The broth doesn’t have a lot of flavor bit it’s not terrible. The deluxe phở seemed to lack protein. The serving staff is very pleasant and the retardant is very clean.

Decent phở. Hit the spot after walking around Chinatown in the winter time. Servers were quick to seat us and give us refills on tea and water. In comparison to other phở places I’ve been to, it’s around the same quality and price. Went there with my family(3 adults, 2 kids) and the staff was very accommodating with our picky children. I think that’s what pushed my review from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Well this is first time I been out to Lunch for a long time, I when out with some guys from work and we when to a Phở restaurant Phở Barclay. I was very pleased with the place. Most everyone played it safe and ordered grilled something Phở. Like one of the guys got Grill Beef phở number 62 and the others got Grilled Brisket Phở, and Pork Phở. They all seemed to enjoy their dishes. I on the other hand wanted to really experience the Phở experience so I ordered the house special which has our server described it, «it was once around the kitchen» or in other words, a little bit of everything: Brisket, Beef, Pork, Tendon, Tripe. I was so glad I did. It was a great combination. The broth had the perfect in balance good salt with a nice bouquet Asian spice. So when I received my Phở I added their homemade sauce, Thai basal, bean sprouts and a bit of the Sriracha sauce. The combination gave the Phở some umami and a bit of backend heat. The result brought the whole dish together. Surprisingly, the Tripe was more taster than I was expected and the tendon was extremely tender. This was another pleasant surprise. The service was also good. The Phở came out in no time and the portion was quite large. I will definitely be trying this place again and will want to try some of their other version of Phở. I would definitely recommend you try this restaurant; it is a great place for lunch, quick and easy.

Just moved to the area and in search of a great phở place, decided on Phở Barclay since it is conveniently located next to the Asian Market. Came on a Sunday in between running errands with the BF and were immediately seated. Our first impression was that since they had a lot of asian customers, it would be legit. Unfortunately after ordering the phở tai and the bun bo hue(spicy noodle soup), we were a bit disappointed. The phở broth is a bit bland, until you add your hoisin sauce and siracha spicy sauce. So was the bun bo hue, which is usually very flavorful without adding anything, but it didn’t have much taste. I also tried the taro bubble tea which was ok, but somewhat powdery. The tapioca was good though. I think if you are to get bubble tea here, get the blended kind. They looked a lot better. The prices are average. The one thing I didn’t like was if you are sitting in the row in the middle of the restaurant, you feel like everyone is in your conversation because I could hear everyone else’s. Based on this experience, I think I must continue on with my search for my go-to phở place in this area.
