Taken out a few times — quite tasty, a bit pricey. The soups are quite good as is the summer rolls. A lot of vietnamese choices in Cherry Hill have tried two so far —

My husband and really love this place. We’ve been here numerous times for dinner. The food is consistently good — as is the service. It’s becoming our go-to place. My husband always gets some sort of phở soup. His preference is phở tom. Although he tried phở tai last night and loved it. Rich flavor and large slices of meat. We always order shrimp summer rolls as our appetizer. The peanut sauce is amazing! I tend to mix it up with my entrees. While I love the phở soups(I’m «pescaterian»), I also enjoy some other entrees. Last night I had spicy eggplant(«hot from the wok»). Wow — spectacular. Spicy and delicious. I ordered it with tofu and need to remember to ask for steamed tofu. While the tofu was good, I prefer steamed. Our water glasses were never empty, and everyone is very pleasant and helpful. I truly don’t understand the negative reviews.

Since last review we’ve frequented this place about a handful of times and dishes/service have been decent. We only usually come here when we’re around Evesham area. The fruit shakes are tasty minus the boba which tends to be chewy. My usual go to here is the pork chop rice dish with or without a spring roll(additional $ 1). For $ 8 you get a full and happy belly. The place is always clean as well as the bathroom. I believe they deliver as well if your within their vicinity.

I wish this site allowed me to give negative or no stars. A few months ago, my wife and I had an amazing dinner here. Tonight, we decided to order take out. I walked in and paid. While waiting for the food to be ready, I could see through the window in the door to the kitchen. I’m glad I did because I could see one of the cooks smoking while cooking. I immediately demanded a refund and asked the person at the register if the health department ever comes in there. The guy didn’t respond and didn’t apologize. He said nothing. His lack of emotion makes me think this is common practice here. If they are smoking while cooking, what else are they doing that they shouldn’t be? I will never go back to this place and hope these reviews are read by the health department.

Phở Xinh is the perfect spot for anyone. With a nice music selection, INCREDIBLE Phở, quick service and even great aesthetics, Phở Xinh is great for any couple, group of friends, or even just by yourself. Another great plus is, with Starbucks next door, free wifi and even coffee afterwards are strong possibilities. If you can’t decide where to go, I strongly suggest Phở Xinh.

Pretty good, but this place is further away from me than some other Vietnamese places that I like better. The bbq pork summer rolls weren’t bad, and I liked that they served this with a spicy fish sauce rather than the usual peanut sauce. I could have used more vegetables and less noodles in the rolls. I had the spicy noodle soup for an entrée. I liked the hollow noodles that were served with this dish, they held the flavor of the broth better than typical noodles, they also had a lighter texture that I enjoyed. I was worried that this dish was just going to be phở broth with some sriracha thrown in, but it was more than that. A pretty good broth with some heat to it. The meat in this soup was over cooked for my taste, and I could have used more noodles in the soup. I was disappointed that they do not have banh mi here. I would definately come back if I was in the area, but I’m not sure that I would make an effort otherwise.

My fiancé suggested this place last night and it was the first time for the both of us. Upon entering, I was not impressed with the setup or hospitality. Some guy just walks up and doesn’t even say hello and walks over to a booth and points at it and walks away. Anyway, I end up getting the Assorted Vegetables with shrimp from the«hot wok» section and my fiancé orders the Phở with Seafood. We started off with the spring crispy roll and summer roll. The spring crispy roll reminded me of something you would find in the frozen food section, but the summer roll was good. My meal was watery and bland, but my fiancé ended up getting bad stomach pains later that night from the Phở Seafood. Needless to say, it was the first and LAST time visiting this establishment!

I’ve been to this Phở Xinh location multiple times and it’s always been a pretty good experience. The phở is delicious, the inside is clean, and the prices are quite reasonable. Still there are a few issues I have about getting take out from here. Whenever I get phở for take out, the accompanying sriracha and hoisin are mixed in the same condiment cup. I like a lot of hoisin and just a bit of sriracha drizzled on top. With it being mixed in all the same take out container, my soup isn’t getting flavored the way I want. Not an insanely big deal, but still how hard hard is it to separate them? Also for take out that I had today, the bag of bean sprouts/limes/jalapeño/basil etc. all of if comes soaking wet. They probably need to just drain it properly after washing(that or it’s wet like vegetables that sit in the fridge too long.) Granted, neither of these are a problem when I dine in but I’d appreciate the consistency. My love of phở will keep me coming back.

Best staff ever! I walked in with my 1 and 2.5 year old boys for lunch and the three guys working out front were super helpful and friendly. Most would sigh and eye roll, especially younger men, not these guys. High chair right away, small bowls and plastic utensils. When my 1 y/o broke his bowl, it was no big deal, it was cleaned up in moments and a plastic container was brought out. Thank you nameless wait staff, you made my day and sorry for the mess.

I woke up today feeling like garbage… Vietnamese penicillin. That’s what I needed. A hot bowl of phở is always what the doctor ordered. Upon entering, I was promptly greeted, seated and treated. I ordered the phở with barbecued chicken. Having been to several other Vietnamese restaurants, I was expecting the typical: a bowl of rice noodles, dressed with cilantro, scallions, onions, the meat of my choice and a plate of the standard accoutrements OTS(bean sprouts, chunky cuts of jalapeño, Thai basil that’s JUST on the brink of turning… and lime.) I was pleasantly surprised with a gorgeous bowl of soup(they offer one size, mind you) dressed with the usual, sans meat. My beautifully grilled chicken was plated perfectly on the side of my bowl, sticky with barbecued goodness, charred crispy edges, topped with scallions. The other plate was filled with the normal suspects, but my basil was fresh, freshly washed, and the jalapeños were shaved. Shaved like they WANTED me to read the menu through them. I loaded up my bowl and took a trip to chow town. The simplest of things, the washed basil, and the thin peppers made for a glorious experience. I was never able to actually eat the jalapeños in other establiments unless I wanted a face full of angry heat. Now… Let’s talk about this chicken. Sweet. Sticky. Juicy, cut about a half inch in thickness. LOOKEDANDTASTED exactly as it should’ve. And I got 2 full chicken. l breasts. I have never been more pleased with an entrée in my life. I’m giving 5 stars because I went in expecting something pedestrian and got SO much more and for what I thought was an AMAZING price point. All I described was less than $ 10. My waiter also checked back with me two times and was super nice. I will be back to this place, 100%. Thanks!

Do not eat here if u are allergic to ms. Their phở is nothing but full of tons of msgs. If u get dehydrated and your mouth is dry and u get a headache, it’s because of the msg. The waiters are rude. Don’t use the word thank you. Our first and last time

Service is good, prices are great. 3 people with drinks and appetizers came to $ 30 with just over 20% tip. I’ve yet to try anything other than the phở and summer rolls here, since I’m hooked. It comes with all of the usual fixings, with jalapeño instead of the traditional chili peppers. Phở tai chin(brisket and I forget which other cut, it’s either round or flank) is my favorite; it’s more savory than Phở Ga(chicken), which my boyfriend loves. Phở ga has a more peanut-y taste. I have yet to try the shrimp phở. The only thing I found odd was that the coffee was served pre-brewed. Not a big deal, but the first time I’ve seen Vietnamese coffee served without a phin.

I love this place because of the food! It’s consistently delicious and very fresh! My fave is the vegetarian phở with tofu and vegetables. The service could sometimes be better, but the food wins me over :)

Two stars for the décor and the not awful service. Really it’s probably the nicest Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever eaten in but that’s about where the good stuff ends. Phở broth is supposed to have a subtle beefy sweetness that nicely compliments the toasted spices but this broth went passed that into the sugar water territory. I typically don’t add hoisin or fish sauce to my phở broth but this one needed all the help it could get. Really I tried anything and everything to make it better but it just got meh. There also wasn’t any culantro or onion garnish. The beef wasn’t the most tender beef out there either. Maybe they could focus their efforts off of trying to also sell thai and Chinese dishes and make some killer phở at PHO Xinh. I really wish their phở was better. I really wanted to like this place because of the nice décor.

I’ve been to Phở Xinh twice now. The first time I got Phở Tai with Bo Vien — and overall I would say its ok. It wasn’t horrible to where I didn’t want to eat it but it wasn’t all that. The second time I went I wasn’t really in the mood for Phở so I got the Wonton Noodle Soup and let me just say its a disgrace that they will try to serve Wonton Noodle Soup with Phở broth. Wonton Noodle Soup is not supposed to have the same broth as Phở and thats exactly what Phở Xinh did. I was pretty disappointed because I was looking forward to having a nice bowl of Wonton Noodle Soup, instead I got egg noodles with Phở broth.

The four stars is for the yummy phở and for the decoration/cleanliness of the restaurant. I’ve done take out plenty of times. I’ve tried a few different things but the best is their Phở(Ga)(phở with chicken in it). It is so light and tasty. The inside is also decorated beautifully; far from the typical chinese/vietnamese takeout places. It is in a nice location and the service is friendly. I will definitely be back to do some more takeout and hopefully eat in soon!

It was eerily quiet. No music. Maybe two three parties there including ourselves. The phở was mediocre and way too oily. Then they started playing quiet classical music. The menu was unorganized the pictures of food tasteless. All in all a weird place to eat phở.

Good takeout phở(brisket was a bit on the tough side, but the broth was delicious), friendly service. Priced well for the neighborhood — will definitely be back!

UPDATE: 10/28/2013 So if I could give Phở Xinh ZERO stars, I would. We’ve been back a few times since my previous review and the food has been good — the service, as always was not very good. Tonight — they broke the last straw. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea(which is a powder mixed with water and milk BTW) and it came out SOUR. The milk was literally sour and the one sip I had was wretched. When I let the waitress know, she whisked it away with the comment that, «It was our last one, I just won’t charge you for it.» No apology, no asking if I wanted something else to drink — nada. The couple sitting next to us were also appalled — and literally had their mouths hanging open in disbelief. The food was not even very good — it seems that they have had a change of chef. The phở broth was very dark brown and heavy with star anise; no balanced flavors. The summer roll was vermicelli heavy and the dipping nc chm was very, very heavy on the fish sauce(nc mm) which was just overpowering. I’m still tasting it six hours later. We also ordered the jasmine grill and the nc chm was bad with that too — so overall a truly bad experience. We will not be going back to Phi Xinh. I think they are on their way out… PREVIOUSREVIEW: We have been to Phi Xinh in Voorhees numerous times and have had pretty much the same experience. Great food, fair to bad service. So the good part is that the phở is very good and most of their other dishes are good as well. The bun(vermicelli), appetizers, other soups and entrees are all good. Unfortunately, service is an afterthought and perhaps excusable a couple of times but not on a regular basis especially when you have been there enough to be a regular. Today however, was the straw. Today, we ordered 2 bowls of Phở, a diet coke and a iced coffee ~ food was great as usual, timely but we then had to ask 3 times for our drinks and 2 tables who came in after us received their drink orders ahead of us even after we inquired about our drinks. Bad service will kill a restaurant no matter how good the food. When the drinks finally came out, no apologies even though we said thank you… Truly ignorant. Close by are Phở Eden and Phở Barclay both of who offer equally tasty phở at reasonable prices with great service — they will be getting our business from now on.
