I’ve attempted to both call and dine at this place but they either don’t answer their phone or they’re closed. I went there today around 7pm and they should have been open but they were just closed with some menus beside the door. I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m going to stop attempting to go here.

Loved the broth. Service was fast. Owners were polite and helpful. A quick stop off 95 on our way back to Maryland.

This place breaks my heart. We were very friendly with previous owner who suddenly passed away. As far as I know this is new ownership. Its clear to us they are not using the previous cook because the food has taken a step back. My wife is from Vietnam and this used to be our go to place for her. Its still acceptable.

Though there are many Vietnamese places in South Jersey I would always come back to this one. Almost 95% of their menu is below $ 10!!! Every time I go to this place I have to order their thai tea! It is the best! I had a phở flank steak this time. The soup is very good very meaty and sweet… I do not have to add any sauces. I also had summer rolls as an appetizer. It is sooo good… The summer rolls were so neatly rolled… and it tasted so good. it completely satisfied my OCD. The service here is very nice I have to admit.

I’m going to shoot right in the middle at 3 stars. There are many good and not so good things about this place. I really wanted to love it, but a few things fell a little short. First off, let me start by saying that I have come to be somewhat of a Phở cononssieur in the last year or so. I try every Vietnamese restaurant I come across. While I have never been to Vietnam to have ‘real’ phở, I now have an understanding of what I like and dislike. We went out after an ice storm on a Sunday night and were worried they wouldn’t be open, surprisingly they were! The service started very friendly and attentive. The food came out quick and was hot. However, as the night progressed, the service stayed friendly but became less and less attentive. We never got a refill on drinks and we waited for 20 min to get the check(which we eventually had to stand up and say, «Hello? Excuse me?» Into the kitchen a few times in order to pay). We started our order with the beef wrapped in grape leaves. They were fairly bland even when dipped in their fish sauce. They also put a huge hunk of lettuce leaf that still had a little dirt on it on the plate with the salad portion of the dish. Not too appetizing. For my drink I order the Thai iced tea with bubbles. Everything about it was great, just wish I could have had another one(see service review above). For my main dish I ordered, of course, the Phở Dac Biet(the deluxe phở with everything). I will say the phở ranks up near the top of all the places I’ve tried from DC, to Baltimore, to NYC, and Philly. While they aren’t the best, I could come back here if I’m in the area. The broth was well seasoned, very generous with the meats, and the noodles were tender. We wanted to try the corn pudding for dessert but decided to skip since we couldn’t get any service after we had the main courses. Also, another minor thing to point out is the restaurant was pin silent. Rather unsettling. No music, no talking, not even the hum of a heater or refrigeration unit. Nothing at all. Just the slurping and quiet whispers from a nearby table. I’ve never been to a place that is so quiet. Maybe if they ramped the service up and played some music they may have gotten a 4th star. We will try again, if not for anything else, but the phở.

My family’s favorite PHO place! We live in Sicklerville and drive all the way up here to get Phở, so you know it’s great! The service is awesome and fast and the atmosphere is family friendly and laid back. The owner usually serves and is helpful to new comers. It is light on the wallet too.

My wife and I love this place. We moved to San Jose almost 2 years ago. There’s a ton of vietnamese restaurants there. My wife is vietnamese. We know good vietnamese food and in south jersey… This is the Only place we go when we come back to visit. The phở and Great and so are the broken rice dishes. We were sad to learn that the owner died. He was so nice. He always treated my wife like family. Try the phở and come back and try something else. You won’t be disappointed.

Surprisingly amazing Phở at this small place. Don’t be deceived with the small fast food restaurant look and feel. Walk in and you will find a cosy place with seating for 38 – 40 people. The waitress(also the owner I guess) is very warm and friendly. She understood my vegetarian requirements and customized my Phở(the Broth was made from fruits etc). Food came in a reasonable 10 mins time. It was delicious and a large portion. Enjoyed the food and the service, esp since they had us at 9:30 pm on Christmas Day.

I have dine there before they were closed for months. The soup that I always ordered was a little pricy but it was good. The place is a bit small and I believe they don’t take credit card under 10

Not really sure what the hell is going on here. I feel like I’m in the twilight zone after reading some of the 3 star reviews. Really? A thai restaurant? Or a phở dac biet rice dish? Serious talk now. This place has the most legit VIETNAMESE food in the area. I’ve had the traditional phở as well as the special phos(not the phở dac biet mind you, or the super special phở dac biet rice dish… wtf?) The broth has a meaty sweetness not to be mistaken with sugary sweetness. I also just had the bo kho(it’s slowly braised beef with star anise and other spices served with bread) and it was pretty damn good. The hot soy milk is also awesome and makes me feel like a giddy school girl. This place deserves more business ya’ll. Come get some legit food.

this place has the most delicious phở soup you will EVER eat! I have been going here for years and was devastated they closed for a period of time during the last year(the owner sadly passed away). They have since reopened(his wife now runs the place) and the food is still AMAZING!!! I have tried phở at other restaurants, and none of them had the depth of flavor that this place has. The appetizers are also delicious, I love the spring rolls! I wish I could give this place 10 stars! the food just cant be beat!

I’m sorry. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn’t satisfy my taste buds. After reading all the good reviews, I thought nothing could go wrong. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Phở Dac Biet, Rice combo(wanting the usual barbeque pork, crabcake, and shredded pork) but it came with chicken, pork, shrimp instead. They mistaken what I wanted as I asked for the rice dish that usually has everything in it(those familiar with the Vietnamese cuisine know what I am talking about). I also ordered the vietnamese fried wings as it seemed to be a special dish there. The phở and rice were not good. The wings were decent. It tasted better with the chili sauce. And they got an extra star for friendliness. Maybe their other things are better, but what I got was not doing it for me that day.

I didn’t know much about this place, until my friend told me about it. So, i went out and gave it a try. And oh my, their seafood maxine was delicious. Its service was good as well. I have nothing else to complain about this restaurant. 5 stars from me.

I was on my way back to Philly after doing some business in Cherry Hill so I’d thought I’d finish off my day with some tasty Vietnamese grub in my belly. This place is located in a tiny strip plaza which is the type you see all over in South Jersey. I used and my food was ready to go as soon as I walked in the door. I had one Viet place in Chicago actually wait until I showed up before they started preparing my food — I was rather ticked off about that. I’m an important person with a lot of things to get done, so weird dumps like that won’t get my patronage in the future. My main course was the Bun Dac Biet(vermicelli deluxe) and it was quite yummy. I’d say the beef was not quite as tasty as what I had at Phở Saigon on Columbus Blvd. in Philly, but it was still good. The best part of my order was the peanut dipping sauce for my summer rolls — nice and dark! I hate the light-colored dipping sauce for these rolls, but thankfully Phở So 1 makes a dark sauce and therefore your roll-munching will be all the better. Make sure you get that sauce nice and thick on your rolls! Also ordered a Café Sua Da iced coffee and it was good.

First time at a Thai restaurant. Food was great. The noodles were fantastic, the spring rolls were awesome. From the outside the place looks like your average Asian dump, however the food is rather good and the restaurant is very clean. But what do I know it was my first time eating Thai.

Unfortunately the owner of Phở Só, Anthony, passed away and it hasn’t reopened yet. In case anyone in his family reads this, Anthony was such an awesome person and I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was a such good dude! He was always happy and joked with me and my friends who I ate there with. He was the consummate«hands on» owner. He will be missed!

Big menu with lots of choices. The bf went for his go-to phở tai of course. He said is was excellent, and I concur. The broth was flavorful and complex. Portions of meat in the soups was very good. Summer rolls with pork were very good as well. They could stand to bring out a bit more generous«greens» plate(basil, culantro, sprouts etc), but we didn’t ask for more, and it’s probably good they don’t waste by bringing too much. The owner was super friendly and funny.
