Took my parents here, they love Som Sak in Voorhees, This place looked promising. When we went in, we were the only people there. The menu didn’t even look good, and no lunch specials-at all. Well-we ordered anyway, it was OK, not the best I have had. Plus having no one there, still took quite bit of time to get our food out. Rather go to other Thai places, this one is no return for me.

The most dreadful Thai restaurant within 100 miles. The owner/waiter/chef/host Charlie is a major league jerk. Here is how he started. «I’d like the duck(it was printed on the menu)». He grabs the menu out of my hand, barks«No duck» followed by «What else?» Well, you just grabbed the menu out of my hand, care to make a suggestion? It was all downhill from there. We walked out. There are plenty of good Thai restaurants in the area. This is not one of them.

Took the parents out to a dinner one night. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we went. The head chef/owner Charlie(Chosen American name) was also our waiter. We started off with a Sampler B which consisted of egg rolls, wonderful crispies(don’t remember exactly what this was), shrimp, and something that was similar to an empanada. All of the appetizers were pretty tasty. I ordered the pad thai and the parents got a beef and chicken dish. Both parents dishes were tasty, but my pad thai mmmm. They put tofu in it too! I’m not going to complain since I love tofu. The dish was made medium spicy and next time I’ll probably order hot. After the meal, we sat around and chatted with Charlie for a while. He’s a great guy with a love for the food. Haven’t been around to the other Thai places around town, but this one should not be missed. I will DEFINITELY be coming back.
