Excellent service– Zak! Excellent atmosphere. Sat outside this morning and it was the perfect day. Food was good. Pricing was fair. Not too crowded. No waiting. Nice breakfast/brunch spot. You would get five stars but my fruit wasn’t that fresh.

The bananas foster waffle is to die for, and my sister loved her cornbread french toast. Our server, Michael, was fantastic as well. I really don’t have a bad thing to say about this place! Check it out.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new so we decided to drive to New Jersey. Brunch being our favorite food we decided to give the turning point a try. For a small place it was pretty busy but we got seated right away. Waitress took our ordered and the food took quite some times before it even came out. I ordered the big easy Benedict. It was okay I didn’t like it too much. I’m not much of a cornbread person but I wanted to give it a try. My boyfriend ordered the lobster Benedict and said there weren’t barely any lobster meat in it. My only favorite thing was my s’mores hot chocolate. The only thing I actually enjoyed. My waitress was okay she could of least come back and asked if we needed anything else instead asking how’s our food when we barely even took a bite into it.

One of my favorite spots for breakfast! Servers are all great and friendly as well as the hostess! The food is awesome! I love sitting in the big room opposed to the carpeted area. The carpet room is dark where the big room has the windows and makes the experience a more happy feeling! The only downfall is the wait sometimes, but it goes by pretty fast and the parking! My negative is the server with the loud voice and bandaid covering her tat on the neck… very annoying and that bad aid is an eye soar! Otherwise, love this spot!(Cherry Hill) location.

Food was great the first two times I went. Ordered my usual Marsala eggs Benedict and banana foster waffles. Wait is a good usual 20−25mins on weekends. But on this past weekend, service was slower and my food was not warm. Waffle had no crisp and was drenched in syrup. Pretty dissapointed about my Waffle since I was looking forward to it so much. Who in their right mind would serve it like that?!

Finally took time to check this place out. I went on a weekday but am sure the weekend are crowded. I appreciated the selection of various drinks, and since I’m not a coffee drinker I picked out a white tea. Served with lemon, honey and rock candy, really cute. Our server Evan was super friendly and accompanying. Chris ordered lemon blueberry pancakes which I stole a bite of and loved. I went all in with OMG french toast topped with pumpkin mascarpone, pecans, Carmel and crumbled bacon(YES!). It was delicious. No complaints and will be back for sure.

What a welcome alternative to area diners! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good menu and generous portions. We have been here for breakfast many times and will be back again for sure.

Good spot for breakfast or lunch. French presses are delicious too. Service can be slow depending on what time you go.

I live in jersey. Have been here several times for either breakfast or lunch… and have enjoyed it every time. It’s nice having a descent brunch spot on the jersey side to eat instead of having to drive to philly for one. I had a lobster grilled cheese sandwich and cup of tomato bisque soup… which was to die for! Delicious… a must try!

I been to the Marlton and Cherry Hill location a few times. The food and coffee is great at both places but the service is lacking at the Cherry Hill location. You can expect about 20 min extra for your food to be ready at Cherry Hill. Seems like they are always short on something: cups, plates, menus, etc. I give Marlton 5 stars and Cherry Hill 3

If I could give zero stars I would… –Hair in my grandmothers salad –Waited forever to sit down –then waited forever for a waitress(who was terrible) — food arrived cold Needless to say we will never be back

This is my go-to spot for brunch with mom & any other family members. We first discovered it in North Jersey while visiting family over the holidays and were soo excited when they expanded to Cherry Hill. We love the fresh breakfast options that don’t taste like pre-made microwaved food. Her favorites include the lobster quesadillas, which have huge chunks of lobsters, fresh veggies and salsa. My health-buff cousin is a fan because they have a whole section for healthy options(think egg whites, fresh fruit, whole grains). Even the beverages here are great, especially the coffee and seasonal tea options! The service is always friendly, though some weekends have a long wait. Come in the summertime to sit outside on the cute terrace(makes you wish for a better view in Cherry Hill).

We came in on a Sunday and I was able to call ahead to reserve my table. I ordered the Big Easy Egg Benedict it was okay. I didn’t like my Eggs on cornbread and nothing really special for me. It was my first time having french press coffee… not sure if i can recommend it for 10 dollars. There was a line forming as we were leaving so. I would call ahead if you are planning to visit. A little hyped up for me without the«wow».

Got a table during Sunday brunch hours in maybe 20 minutes(not bad!). They have complimentary coffee for everyone waiting for a table, too. Kudos for having authentic maple syrup available and for a yummy frozen hot chocolate! Food is great as well. It’s a good spot!

3.5 stars total. If you’re used to Philly brunch this is not going to be entirely comparable. However, other than diners this is a great breakfast choice in the area. You may need to wait 10 – 15 minutes for a table on Saturday and Sunday. There is outdoor seating available for when the weather is nice. The coffee menu is amazing. This is the only restaurant that I know of(other than coffee houses) that brings a French press to your table. Variety of beans including Costa Rican, Hawaiian, and Jamaican. Gourmet iced coffee with coffee iced cubes– hell yes! Plus refills free to go. The menu is simple focusing on eggs, hot cakes, and sandwiches. Nothing has totally blown me away but the food is good and fresh. Random sidenote obsessed with the red pepper soup. Definitely one of my to go to breakfast spots in south Jersey — recommend.

I liked the variety of coffee and tea. The french press for the coffee is nice as well, and I liked that it was a stronger flavored coffee. Though I didn’t like that the tea was labeled as loose leaf tea, but came in tea bags, a minor gripe… but a gripe. I ordered the Big Easy Benedict. It came with fried onions, avocado, chorizo and cajun hollandaise. It was very good, but the egg was a little over cooked for my liking. The dish was otherwise well thought out, the flavors went well together, and I like that it comes with a fruit cup(all the fruit was juicy). The potatoes were a little soft for my taste, but my romantic associate likes them like that. She ordered one of the skillets, which I was less impressed with than my Benedict. It just seemed sort of plan in comparison. The pesto infused skillet looked interesting, I’d like to see some of that pesto make it’s way onto some of the other dishes. The server forgot our order, so it look us a little while to get our food. They compensated us with some chips and salsa, maybe something else as well. No alcohol at this brunch place, not really sure if it is a BYOB either. Someone call and check. I’m not going to.

Cool little breakfast spot in Cherry Hill that my girlfriend talked me into going to. The place was pretty packed, but we got a table as soon as we got there luckily. Our waitress was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The food did take some time to come out, but that may of been due to it being busy. The food was really good though! I got salted caramel and bacon waffles, and they were delicious! This is a cool spot if I want to get my breakfast fix.

This place was awesome, though I may be a bit biased. Why you ask? I love breakfast food. I could eat it for breakfast(duh), lunch, and dinner. And this place offered so many fabulous breakfast(and technically lunch, though this was not my focus) options that I was pleasantly overwhelmed. If you are vegetarian, you have many options to choose from with a clear«V» marked next to the menu item. Everything is made from fresh ingredients there, so it would also be easy to make a non-vegetarian item vegetarian by requesting the removal of meat. My friend and I ordered a Sinful Delight(Caramel, Mocha, Hazelnut Blend) French press coffee(easily 4 cups), which was brought to us immediately along with a timer. The coffee was so good– strong and flavorful, and a lovely little sugar stirrer(rock candy on a stick) and cream was brought with it. I had the Popeye skillet, and my friend got Marsala Benedict. Both were excellent and were brought to our table very quickly. The food quality was excellent, and the food was definitely made to order using fresh ingredients. Our server was attentive but not invasive. Altogether, when we split the bill, the cost was maybe $ 16 per person(including tax & tip), which I think is a good price considering the food quality. Although it is a small place, it is clean with an outside seating area, which would be nice if the weather cooperates. Free wifi is provided, and the bathrooms are immaculate. I will definitely be back– to try as many breakfast items as I can. This is one of my new South Jersey favorites. :-)

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and was able to call ahead to get a table. I was seated 3 – 5 minutes after I arrived, while walk-ins who were there before me, had to wait. The restaurant is a nice size, and they have a pretty decent menu. My favorite thing about this place was the french press coffee which comes in a variety of flavors. We ordered breakfast and had the popeye scramble, huevos rancheros(without chorizo) and a shortstack of pancakes. The presentation of the food was excellent, but the taste, nothing special. I did have great service, and their menu had a decent selection of dishes, so I would give it another try, but I am not in any rush to do so.

The Turning Point wasn’t really anything special, but it wasn’t bad. Just your basic breakfast items at a higher Cherry Hill price. The menu wasn’t as vast as some of the other diners in the area, but we found something we both liked. My wife went with the pancakes while I went with the breakfast skillet. The skillet was pretty good, but again pretty simple. As for the pancakes, I thought they were ok, but a bit undercooked and chewy. Service and food delivery was a little slow, but I think they just got hit with a big breakfast rush. Parking is simple in the strip mall parking lot.

Morgan and I went here on the recommendation of a close friend today– one who we know values the ambiance of a restaurant much more highly than the quality of the food — so I should have known what to expect. It is exactly the type of place he loves — somewhere that looks fresh and unique but puts out mediocre food that leaves much to be desired. I had the bananas foster waffle and a side order of sausage and Morgan had a side of potatoes, a side of bacon and the very chocolate pancake. As we were eating we both said to each other — «wow, we definitely should have gone to green eggs» which is our current favorite spot. On the surface, they’re comparable — they have a nice enough atmosphere and the wait staff are friendly. Beyond that it’s not even close — the quality of everything I ate today was sub par — honestly, I’d prefer to go to the Black Horse Diner and I don’t like the Black Horse Diner. The waffle was under-cooked, the sausage was cold, the potatoes were definitely previously frozen, the bacon tasted cheap and the pancake was average at best. At the diner the prices are more reasonable and they give you a larger volume of the same quality food. The one positive note was the peanut butter hot chocolate — Morgan loved it. Overall, I was thoroughly unimpressed with Turning Point — which was a huge let down because I had heard such good things. Maybe they’re other locations in possession of a liquor license have better quality food — everything tastes better when you’re drunk, right?

The Turning Point, to which we did race Stopped by this morning, then slowed down our pace A fancy espresso bar, is well above par The French toast and skillet, delicious I say… s(Jersey) The aroma of home, the greetings of friends In need of a cure for the cold? Hot coffee amends French presses they offer, delivered fresh from the back A fruit cup, I did see, someone get as a snack From waffles, to omelets, and benes to pancakes A fine meal you will have, of that make no mistake The Huevos rancheros and Bandito Burrito Wanting them both, I was about to order… but wait. no The OMG French Toast, was calling my name Crumbled bacon and chopped pecans, what a wondrous game The caramel drizzle was dazzling, the pumpkin spiced mascarpone a bit flat Off the plate I did scrape it, it did not need that. The Mrs’ Basic Skillet Filled with bacon and sautéed taters Topped with an assortment of cheeses, dippy eggs You will not see many haters An English muffin came with, anointed with glee A petite fruit bowl, she shared with me Upon finishing our plates, our server did ask If I’d like some coffee to go, «Yes» and she was up to the task Paper cup filled to the top, placed the cap on with a whack We left the Turning Point, but alas, we will be back.

Finally, a brunch restaurant [that’s not another diner] in South Jersey! I took a visiting friend here the other day. Walked in and immediately felt the homey, classy but casual vibe. I love when restaurants put modern twists on traditional favorites. We had a tough time deciding, but decided on an egg skillet, Lobster egg’s benedict for myself, and split a Cornbread French Toast as a dessert upon the waiter’s recommendation. Let me first say, that french toast was superb. At first bite, we felt our taste buds sing. I had expected this to be dense, but on the contrary… the cornbread was light and fluffy, that vanilla bean mascarpone was buttery and not too-sweet. A light drizzle of caramel, along with paper thin slices of apple and pecans sprinkled on top. Everything melted in your mouth and complimented each other beautifully. Our separate egg dishes were also very much enjoyed. I would recommend the lobster egg’s benedict – they did not skimp on the lobster meat and a friendly addition of bacon and avocado made for a very satisfying meal. The hollandaise could use a smidge more seasoning, but that could be my own personal preference. Was also happy to see they have Mighty Leaf tea, here, my favorite bagged brand as it is high quality. To my delight, your order of tea comes in a personal tea pot. Our only real minor complaint would be the home fries, although not bad, have room for improvement. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

I have been dying to try the turning point, a New Jersey breakfast/brunch/lunch chain. The menu was huge and there were a lot of great drink options including French press coffee, espresso, and s’mores hot chocolate. There were breakfast options as well as lunch options. I was torn between French toast, a waffle or an omelette. I chose the western omelette because it came with fruit, potatoes and an English muffin. My friend got an omelette as well. The omelette was delicious and the potatoes were slightly undercooked but okay. I saw other people’s French toast and waffles and would definitely go back to try those along with a specialty hot or iced drink. The prices were fair and service was pretty good. It was also fairly busy for a Thursday morning but there was plenty of seating and we did not have to wait at all.

This is really a 3.5 review but no halfsies and I mulled over it a while but just couldn’t go with 4. That being said I really really wanted to love this place, it’s close, it’s brunch, new, ample parking. So you walk in they are pretty friendly, they have a «bar» but no drinks… Tea, coffee, it’s cute but lacking. Note this is not a byob either. What is also nice in the waiting area they have self serve coffee/tea while you wait. It is extremely bright inside, which is a bit much. The staff is pretty nice from the front desk to the servers. I didn’t like the fact that they were swiffer-vacuuming while I was eating. On to food, to I ordered the NY pastrami omelette, it was good, but I probably did the place an injustice by doing so since there is a near by diner that has one that I am in love with. It didn’t measure up. I will say the food was very fresh, kind of a silver diner feel. But I didn’t really see any real brunch options, nothing that wowed me. I also had one of their hot chocolate specials that I was sure was going to be a slam dunk, I went with my servers recommendation, I got the smore’s, the concept was great, the first few sips were amazing, but no way I could finish it, I was on sugar overload. Nothing was bad, it was just ok at best good. I will likely try them again, I mean they are so close and more importantly right next door to the massage spot. Hopefully I can update to a 4 star review, but as for now it is what it is.
