Babies R US

Best Babies r Us in the area. The store is huge and there’s always a great selection of items to choose from. As a mom of 4, this is my go-​to store for those items you can’t find at your major retail stores like Walmart.

After a having to deal with some very unfriendly people recently at other stores I was so happy to finally get great customer service! I asked where an item was and the woman was very friendly and walked me all the way across the store to point it out for me. I know it seems like something small but it was very appreciated and something that had not been done in other stores.

Its give or take with these guys the store is great the biggest one in the area, however each time we get discounts or they mess up they act like it’s coming out of their own paycheck but we just end up calling the manager and get our discount

Service is always excellent, they even return open box items, and after the cut off date if I have a receipt and purchased from my registry. They really make this new mom thing easy.

I used to like this store. But there is an extremely rude staffe and it makes me very unhappy to shop here. i don’t know his name .He is a very short Asian boy .Once I was checking a playyard sheet. There was no material information on the outside package so I picked one was obviously opened before and just wanted to check the tag inside to see .Then this short asian boy came and blamed me You !‘Stop it ! Stop it !!INow every time he shows me an angry and cold face every time I met him. Since this is the only baby r us store around, otherwise I will go to other store. This guy should be fired. He lowered the service quality of the store. Other staffes are all warm and very helpful!

I was in there last night trying to buy a pack of bottles that was it. I stood in line for 20 minutes because they had both available lines doing returns and they were waiting on the manager. Finally after 20 minutes I left and went to target

This Babies R Us location is HUGE! It took my husband and I about an hour and a half to go through it when we added items on our baby registry Sunday afternoon! Their customer service is top-​notch — every employee that we encountered was happy to help us out, from the young lady that helped us at the registry desk to the people helping out on the floor and at the registers.
I do like the perks that come along with registering at Babies R Us (i.e. receiving a completion coupon for any remaining items on your registry), but I was a little disappointed in their swag bag. Yeah, yeah… I know it’s free, but if all you are going to give me is a bunch of coupons and other miscellaneous paperwork, do me a favor and just place it all in a folder so I’m not looking forward to receiving other sorts of (free) goodies.
But yeah… I will definitely be back. I will probably think of something else to add on my registry between now and August.

This Babies R Us is the largest in the area, the one near Lynnhaven Mall is a combo Toys R Us and Babies R Us. They have a large selection of everything baby from clothing, feeding, toys, furniture, safety, car seats, strollers, diapers, room décor, I mean anything you need for your kid through 24 months is here. The staff here is helpful and friendly. The aisles and merchandise is kept neat and orderly. I find it very easy to find what I’m looking for here. The best part of Babies R Us (and Toys R Us) is the rewards program. You get points for every dollar you spend and you get cash back you can use in their store. Also, if you do a baby registry here then any items that are purchased from your registry you will get additional cash back 3 months after your due date, which can be used in their store for needed items you didn’t get from your registry or new items you need. I prefer this store over the Lynnhaven one because of its size alone and greater selection of items.

I searched high and low for some adapter pieces for my daughter bottles. The bottle brand is Avent. The only store that had it in stock was Babies R Us. So I chose to used the site to store pickup and it was a quick and easy process. I was able to go online and select the items I needed and processed my order in a matter of minutes. On Babies R Us website it stated that the pick up time could take up to 2 hours to complete my order, but it only took a few minutes and I got my ready to pick up e-​mail. I printed my order and went to the store. When I walked in the store was nice and neat. Everything was in its proper place. I went to the counter to pick up my merchandise and the service was great. It only took about 5 mins and I was in and out of the store. I will be back to shop in store the next time I am in need of some baby items.

Let me explain– I don’t have children. I was buying some clothes for a friend’s baby girl who just turned 1. I went to the Babies R Us/​Toys R Us over by JANAF on Military Highway. It’s a mess. A little G-​Hetto and just disorganized. I’m thinking it’s because of the huge sale going on and stores tend to be a wreck when they have crazy awesome deals. However– I went to this Babies R Us in Chesapeake merely to do an exchange. The service was friendly and oh my lanta!!! It’s so clean, organized, and just… perfectly put together. A huge change and I suppose if I ever need to buy baby clothes for friends or if… knock on wood… I have a child soon, I’ll definitely be going to this location.
