My Hilton Gold status earned me an upgrade to a suite at the end of the hall. Really, two rooms. One bedroom with full bath(big enough to play racquetball) and a second sitting room with a fold out sofa, half bath, wet bar and flat panel television. The door between was well ventilated, so not much privacy if you were wanting that. The room was quiet and clean, serviced well and stocked with a Keurig and other useful items including mini-fridge and microwave. My only complaints are with the shower. First, no space in it for shampoo or razor or really, anything. Except on the floor. Second, the water pressure was low and it took a good long while for the hot water to appear from the tap. Perhaps, the downside of being at the end of the hallway. The property was clean and well kept. I did not visit the restaurant, the pool or the fitness center.

Our stay on 5÷11÷15 was not without a certain issue but the staff was very accommodating and ultimately resolved everything to our satisfaction. The front desk staff members were extremely pleasant and helpful. Kelsey helped us resolve our issue and advised us some attractions in the area.

4 stars for the price range, if you are comparing to upscale hotels then it’s more of a 3. Typical Garden Inn, has a small dining area where you can get meals(I didn’t partake, but think it was about $ 11 for breakfast). The rooms are a typical middle of the road hotel: clean and functional. I had a king room and there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room which is nice. The bathroom is fine, nothing fancy but it works and was in good condition. The location is fantastic. Walk out the back door and you are steps from multiple restaraunts including Cracker Barrel, Joe’s Crab Shack, and a steak place. Across the road is small and also lots of shopping. A good choice for the price point.

The customer service at this Hilton Garden Inn was really fantastic. Everyone of the staff was so friendly — with a smile and a good morning greeting — from the desk to the restaurant to the custodian cleaning the rest room. Tracy at the front desk very kindly comp’d us breakfast having pity on us for having arrived at 2am after a long trip from Buffalo. Such great service that, despite just 4 hrs sleep, we left with smiles on our faces.

Everything about my stay here was worth writing about. The hotel is located in North Suffolk in a nice, quiet community. Upon check-in, I was given a free drink ticket for the lobby bar with apparently no restrictions on what that drink can be. Awesome! The room itself was clean and had an extremely comfortable sleep number bed. The workout room is on the smaller side but has all the modern equipment one needs for various exercises. The large pool and hot tub area is clean and but I didn’t see very many guests utilizing either. The business center had 2 newer computers which I was so thankful for! I can’t tell you how many hotels I’ve been to that have computers that can barely handle an open browser. Wi-Fi strength was servicable but I’ve never had a strong wifi signal at any hotel so this didn’t bother me much. The employees were all friendly and helpful, especially when I wanted to find a place for late night cocktails. There is a lot within a one mile radius. Starbucks within walking distance, 24 hour grocery store, froyo, movie theater, Chick-Fil-A, etc. I originally chose this hotel because it was the least expensive of the big chains in the area. Now, it’ll be my first choice when I’m back in the area because the experience was so positive.

I stayed at this HGI on a recent business trip to Chesapeake and came away very satisfied. As always with this chain, you know what you are getting, these things being great service, a nice room, an adjustable bed, and a great breakfast with an often acceptable omelet cook. Well, this HGI had all of this. The desk staff was very accomodating, sharing a joke when I managed to lock myself out of my room 15 minutes after arriving(it was that kind of day) and offering good suggestions for restaurants in the area. The room was very nice and big, with a pleasantly quiet and efficient air conditioning system. The bed was, as usual, adjustable, although I hardly ever change it if not needed. As to the breakfast, it was stellar. I have to say that, other than a stay in Edmonton some years ago, the cook here was the best I have seen. The omelet was tasty, did not fall apart, and had a good number of ingredients without overloading it. I also liked the fact that they put out a menu of available«popular» combinations, which actually led me to deviate from my routine omelet for once. Very nice hotel. I will return.
