Looking for a nice, hometown spot for Valentine’s Day & found a gem! Skip the big name’s for this one… had the breakfast buffet and was the absolute best I’ve had for buffet eats. French toast, fried apples, hash browns, hash browns deluxe, bacon, sausage, mini hot links, grits, sausage with gravy and eggs cooked to order! Whew, now that’s a buffet… our new go to for Sunday breakfast… a welcoming host/server takes it immediately to five stars!!! I’ll try the sweet potato pancakes next time.

Found my new breakfast place! This place is great for a nice home cooked meal! The staff is super friendly and its a great place to bring friends. My only complaint is the coffee was one of the WORST cups I have ever tried, however everything else was awesome!

The wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch some weeks ago and really enjoyed our visit. We both ordered the brunch buffet which was very small but very nice. There were no eggs on the buffet but the owner said he was happy to make us some if we wanted so my wife got some scrambled and I got a couple of over easy eggs. It was a nice touch. Everything on the buffet was really delicious, fresh and hot. I don’t eat pigs feet but my wife enjoyed them and I loved the sausage gravy. The friendly and personable owner offered us dessert but we were full so we declined. He insisted on boxing them up and sending them home with us. You just don’t often see service like this.

My family and I were looking for a locally owned establishment for breakfast and came across d’ cracked egg as a suggestion. I am glad we did. We were not disappointed. My husband got the buffet($ 7.99) that came with 2 eggs to order, my son got the pancake combo and I got the sweet potato combo. The service is friendly and personable that made you feel at home. The food came out fast and is packed full of flavor. The sweet potato pancakes are absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them.

The waffle is so freaking good. I really want to go back there and eat a bunch of them. Very welcoming when you come in. My food was great. I’m ready to go back. This place should be packed because it’s so much better than broken egg.

Exceeded my expectations. Sweet Potato pancakes were phenomenal. Also had the buffet breakfast, plenty of delectable options, and a steal for the price. Service was top notch and the place was very clean. Found a new go to spot for Sunday morning fare

Great food. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Can’t beat it. It’s tucked away and quiet. Owner keeps the conversation going. You feel like you’re at home. I must say this Resturant is a very clean establishment.

The food came out in half the time as comparable restaurants but was far superior. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is one of those hole in the wall places that you tell your friends about and go back to again and again.

The staff is extremely pleasant and the coffee is perfect. I ordered the Sweet Potato Pancake Combo which included 3 huge cakes, 3 bacons/sausage, grits/hashbrowns, and 2 eggs. It was so much food I took half of my sweet potato pancakes home. I think I just found my new Go-To breakfast joint. Keep up the great job!

I was excited coming here after all the Unilocal reviews. And like all the other reviews the food is very good — homestyle cooking. The food was plentiful and flavorful. The sweet potato pancake was like breakfast and desert al in one with the rich flavor of vanilla and cinnamon. They have a breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays which from what it looks like when arriving seems to be very busy. After looking around the place, I realized it’s really small in here! Like 10 tables and really no room to move around. Not a great place for a party of 2 or more which for me made the experience uncomfortable. This particular day it was hot in there, AC wasn’t pumping air(94 degrees outside) as it should. You could smell everything that was cooking in the kitchen and it became smoky because of not having good air circulation. I would probably go back during the week when it’s not too busy or shall I say when all 10 tables are not filled.

Called the night before. Was told they open at 7. Left early for trip home to make sure we tried it before we left. Sign on door said open at 7. Guess they forgot to tell the chef or staff. Waited around until 7:15 and still no one there. Be careful. Call first to see if they’re still open.

This little place is tucked away in a little shopping center, and I probably never would have noticed it if it hadn’t been for my boyfriend. It’s a small restaurant, so you probably wouldn’t pay much attention if you weren’t specifically looking for it. The food was very good! I had an omelette, which was very simple but tasted incredible. The biscuits were delicious – very flaky and buttered perfectly. I definitely would come back to try some of the other delicious-looking menu items. Everyone at the restaurant was very friendly and tried to make our experience great. The owner was probably the best part of our dining experience. I definitely had a great breakfast here!

i’ve been there twice for the Sunday breakfast buffet. It is really excellent! Well worth the money. My favorite is the hash, but really everything I tried on the menu was good. Surprisingly the coffee was as good as some of the global chain stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Well worth your time and money!

The man working behind the counter with the glasses his name is Oliver Smith and its ran by the Smiths. They are so friendly. Also get the sweet tea it’s fresh and its southern sweet if you know what I mean. The food is just so good I ate until I was miserable. Haha. The older couple that came in said they found this place on Unilocal!Yay! There’s exactly 31 chairs in here to sit and eat. Love this place and the friendly owners. Thanks for filling my belly with delicious food and my heart with your kindness!

Great pancakes and french toast but I wish they would use real homefries instead of those horrible cubed potatoes lol I’ve eaten here several times and I am always greeted with a smile. Very friendly atmosphere! My favorite are the sweet potato pancakes and grits! So delicious. Fast service!

Well, I have mixed reviews. The food was amazing! The sweet potato pancakes were out of this world! For 9.99 I got 3 large, thick pancakes, 2 eggs, 3 bacon and homefries. My husband got corned beef hash which was really, really good. Overall one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. The 2 waiters were really nice. Our particular waiter was kind, but asked if we needed anything rather than just bringing refills, ketchup and napkins on his own. The reason I took 1 star away was because the cook had an attitude. He was an older man, so maybe he was the owner? I have no clue, but as the waiter was reading our order off I was watching, and he was rolling his eyes. We ordered 3 breakfast meals between the 2 of us because we wanted to try everything, so maybe that’s why. But then near the end of our food preparation, we asked for a side of butter and cheese on the grits and he looked at the waiter as if to say«are you kidding me, anything else!», and rolled his eyes again. The waiter began laughing. It was very unprofessional. I would return because the food was just that good, but maybe he should get extra help if he doesn’t want to cook all of the orders by himself.
