As a lady in front of me was placing her order I witnessed a roach come from the paper menu pile and walk across the counter. The lady taking her order let out a eek and then killed it with the order booklet… needless to say this was my last time ever stepping foot into this place.

We live very close to Great China and order from there often; we enjoy their food! Pretty standard NY/American Chinese takeout-type menu. They are fast and friendly. We have noticed that sometimes the dishes are spicier than other times, so different chefs may make the dishes slightly differently. Delivery can be sketchy, so best to order for pickup for hot fast food unless you are a regular. Every time we call, when we are done placing our order it’s, «ok, come in 10 minutes» and they are not kidding. BAM. Ready. We love the General Tso and the seafood and sweet and sour dishes. Mai Fun is also very good. Great spicy garlic sauce.

I have been a customer of there’s since the first location had on Bainbridge Blvd about 12 years ago. The food is very delicious, fresh, hot and ready in just minutes. The owners know their customers well and deliver to many of the businesses and schools in our area. They are wonderful business owners who care about their customers and know many by there name, face and even telephone number. It’s my favorite place to get take out food. My family loves the General Tso’s, Chicken Terrific, Egg Rolls, Fried Chicken, Fried Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Lo Mein, Boneless BQ Ribs, Wonton Soup. I bet they will even recognize who wrote this just by my menu items. LOL! Fantastic food! I’ve never been disappointed.

This restaurant is a great take out Chinese restaurant. It is located in the Atlantic Market Place in Chesapeake. The food is on point. My favorite is the pancit noodles with shrimp and the chicken and broccoli. The hunan chicken is very tasty too. I have had the general tso’s chicken from plenty Chinese restaurants and I must say, theirs is the best so far. I don’t like my chicken fried too hard, so the chicken is just right when it’s cooked in the sauce. The place is clean and I love that I can watch them cook my food as I sit and wait. Oh did I mention the sweet tea? Ah the tea with lemon is fantastic. The staff is always polite. When I have a taste for Chinese, the Great China restaurant is where I go. Highly recommend for lunch of course, but is great for dinner when you do not want to cook, or just don’t know what to cook.
