I have stayed here on multiple occasions as it is close to where my parent live now(assisted living). For the price, you can’t go wrong. The property’s name has changed a couple of times in the past few years and they have done remodeling so the rooms are clean, the front desk people are friendly. I thought the road noise would keep me awake at night but it doesn’t. If you are looking for an extended place to stay and want to save some $$, stay here. Plus, having Dunkin’ Donuts and other restaurants a block or so away doesn’t hurt either. Oh, and ask for room #120 if it’s available. It’s the last room on the end so you have only one neighbor on one side of you and your own entry way.

Based on the 1106 address, this is now America Best Value. My wife and I stayed here in mid June 2015 for my niece’s graduation. Within first hour of check in, things became ugly, weird and finished next day with heated arguments between me and husband-wife team from India. I was demanding a 50% refund and was denied. They offered 15% refund, but I did not accept. Stuck in room with nasty cigarette-febreeze smell, no other rooms available, and no time to find other lodging due to fast approaching graduation ceremony. The shower head was spraying all over, and my wife was unable to fix it while I was out. The linens are nasty, the carpet is matted down and borderline sticky. Don’t you dare look at the towels in front of lit background, the stains and crusty quality will make you want to air dry… I think this is our worst lodging experience to date. I had arrived at this place early. no one was in the office. I left and returned later to check in. The woman at the counter was also cleaning the rooms. I filled out the paperwork then paid for my room with cash. We checked out the next day and after returning home, unpacked and cleaned out all the trash. Of course I did not keep the receipt, I was home and the trip was over. 2 weeks later while balancing my check book, I noticed a charge for the room of $ 103. I called the motel and explained the situation to the man on the phone. He said fax me your receipt and I’ll fix it. YA!!! I understand his reasoning. He then began to give me a tongue lashing and berate me like I am some kind of foreign tourist looking for a freebie. I promptly told him no problem and there are plenty of motels in Connecticut. As I was being polite and attempting to hang up, he continued with his insults and yelling as the phone was turned off. I wonder, how many others have gone through this and if this place is looking to get away with this on people who trusted their service. Go somewhere else. Driving a couple of more miles and paying a little extra for a reputable name motel/hotel would be well worth it. This place is not worth the headachs and the #206+ dollers it cost me for the night.
