Called in for a same day appointment with Dr. Brodeur. I arrived 20 minutes early which wasn’t a problem and they got my going right away. The exam lasted 15 minutes and I was in and out with a contact prescription in 30 minutes. Doctor Brodeur and his staff were incredibly friendly, professional & efficient. I am very happy with my experience. I recommend this location and will be returning. Thank you!

So, it was that time of the year: time for me to get my vision checked. I am not getting any younger and my vision does change a bit. My glasses were getting to the point where I was straining to see. So, since this place was not far from my work, I decided to drop on by. This place was a bit smaller than most eye glass joints that I have been to. It’s very well lit and they do have some frames that are displayed. However, I was a bit put off initially by the lady that greeted me and took my walk in appointment. She definitely did not have a smile on her face. I forgot my insurance card and at first she seemed like she didn’t want to deal with me. For about ten minutes, I had to wait on hold with my insurance company trying to get my information. And while I was speaking with an agent, she then called my insurance company while I was on hold and asked me to drop my call. Ok, whatever. That’s fine. We went through the moths of getting me into their system and set me up with the test. The eye testing was alright up until the optional test which will cost the eye patient approximately $ 40, that is if you don’t want to get your eyes dilated. It is a camera that looks like some robot from Dr. Who and it takes a picture of your retina. Approximately, a half an hour later after mashing my face against that goofy contraption, the doctor decided that he wouldn’t accept the photos and I didn’t have to pay the $ 40. He said that I had a lot of eye lid action, whatever that meant. Ok, the doctor’s visit was much better than the initial interaction with the grumpy greeter. He had a great bedside manner, a pleasant voice, and the good news, my vision is getting better, not worse than what I thought. So, it was time to order my glasses. Back to Mrs grumpy pants. I tried to stay within my range of what I could afford, but this lady kept offering suggestions of frames that were $ 300 or more. Yeah, I don’t think so. I ended up choosing something nice but something that was in my price range. Plus they were from a nice company. Who would resist a pair of Dolce & Gabbana? The glasses came back roughly in a week and they fit me perfectly. Mrs. Grumpy pants was not there that time. In fact, a nicer guy by the name of rob was there and he got me set up with my new pair of glasses. The results? I totally recommend Pearl Vision HD lenses. They are not heavy on my nose at all. In addition, I have very little strain as the doctor was very accurate in my prescription. The only negatives were the initial experience with the greeter and the fact that they have a very limited selection of male frames and on the other side I could see a whole bunch of frames for females. However, I do recommend coming to pearl just for the good product.
