I ordered the chicken shwarma plate. The dish was fresh and tasty. My disappointment was the overwhelming amount of rice in proportion to a tiny bit of scraps of chicken. If that’s how they normally serve it, they should rename the dish for the ‘rice and salad with a side of chicken shwarma’ and avoid all the confusion.

I come here every few months when I’m in the area for business. As a lover of Mediterranean food I’ve eaten at many different restaurants across the country that specialize in it. This place is probably my favorite. I recommend the chicken shawarma pita(it has a great tang to it), lentil soup, and stuffed grape leaves(awesome flavor on its own – I skip the yogurt). I always order takeout, for which the service is fast, friendly, and polite.

We went here for the 1st time and was blown away.1st it is family owned and operated, we met Victoria and she was a sweetheart. We ordered the hummus and the kibbie with our sandwiches and Victoria brought us a fatoosh salad on the house cause it was our 1st time, it was the best I ever had. The sandwiches were huge and we had to take half of them home. We will be back… ALOT !!!

Update from my review over two years ago: I eat here *at least* once a week. I have dreams about the chicken shawarma wrap. I once had to order an item for a friend with a food allergy and the cook assured me that the grill was sanitized prior to cooking. This family takes quality and customer service very seriously. They have recently renovated part of the restaurant to include a full bar. I have nothing but positive things to say about this business.

Love Pita Peddler!!! The staff is incredibly friendly, food is fantastic, and great atmosphere. They serve alcohol and have a small bar which is a bonus! Great place to relax, have a good meal and watch the ball game.

This is a fantastic place for lunch or dinner! Menu has a ton of options. For those who haven’t been here recently they have a nice new bar and serve beer and wine! I recommend the boss on ciabatta with no onions it is always excellent. My wife loves their salads. Don’t forget a side of hummus with some crunchers. Recently had my son’s christening party here and they had no problem serving my party of 25. Service was great and all my guests loved the food. Give them a try I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I am visiting the area and searched for some vegan friendly places. I ordered a veggie pita and the lentil soup. I asked for no cheese on the pita. I had the soup first and it was great. The pita was also delicious, but it still had cheese. Everyone was very friendly here, there was some construction going on, the lady said they were getting their liquor license and that explained the construction. There were quite a few people ordering take out and picking it up. Good restaurant, decent service. I would have gone 4 stars if it had not been for the cheese.

I love pita peddler! It’s addicting. I tried it once and was hooked. Very friendly service, delicious food and most importantly they have never messed up my order(which is important to me being a vegetarian). I would highly recommend pita peddler for a delicious lunch anytime! Only complaint– I wish their specials started before 3pm or did not exist at all, because only after 3 is the same as non-existent to me

While traveling for work I stopped in The Pita Peddler to pick up something on my way into work. I was greeted warmly. It was pretty empty. I waited maybe 15minutes for my order to be ready which I appreciated. I got the Chicken Shawarma Plate which smelled delectable and I also got a salad with it. I ate the salad for my lunch and it was good but really didn’t check the rest of the food until when I was ready to eat later in the evening. I guess I expected sliced chicken but it was more like chopped. At first I must admit it looked unappetizing(everything was bland in color-pale chopped chicken on pale rice-with pale yellowish sauce on the side) but then I tasted it and it was edible. I didn’t finish it though. I really like spicy food so this didn’t cut it for me. There are other more familiar items on the menu that I would get should I revisit this restaurant. Should have stuck with what I know. I do like to try something different to see if I encounter any pleasant surprises. I gave 3 stars for the friendliness. They do offer delivery which is good.

Chicken shawarma with tatziki was awesome. Pita chips and hummus were also very good. Friendly waitstaff. All in all a great place for lunch!

I forgot how awesome and delicious this place is! Tons of options to choose from! Pitas, pita melts, Mediterranean food, salads etc! And everything is ‘make your mouth drool’ good! My boyfriend and I stopped in last night for a quick bite to eat. You can dine in or carry out. They expanded the restaurant and opened up a dinning room within the last few years. We were quickly greeted by Joe, who also took our order. I ordered ‘The Boss’ which is a pita melt with chicken, ham, bacon, cheese, onions, BBQ and honey Dijon sauce. So good! We also ordered hummus and pita bread. Pretty big portion for $ 4.99! We got a carry out and even were asked if we wanted to sit down and have a couple glasses of water while we wait. Top notch service. Menu is very detailed on the walls and staff can easily answer any and all of your questions. Typical prices for a sandwich type shop. Definitely will return really soon!

Quality menu and food, but the personable service is the best! Great break from the normal chain restaurant.

I was very happy with their gyro, but the falafel was the driest I have ever experienced. I about choked– it was drier than sawdust. I will stick to other parts of the menu, henceforth. I found the other offerings to be a good value and flavor. For some reason it’s buried on their website, so I’ll post their hours here: Monday — Saturday 10:00AM — 9:00PM. Sunday 11:00AM — 7:00PM. Do yourself a favor and skip the chain restaurant ho-hum offerings and give the Pita peddler a try. Delicious, fresh food, priced right. Me and my family loved this place. Our sometimes picky 2 year old gives the lemon rice soup and cucumbers in yogurt 5 stars. I have had better hummus but no where have I had better chicken ghalabala. Cooked and seasoned so incredibly well for such an unassuming place. I just talked myself into going back soon!

Stopped in for lunch. Tasty and great service. It is kind of confusing because there are two doors and it looks like two different restaurants. But a great selection to choose from. I had the chicken shawarma and was very satisfied!

Absolutely delish for a quick bite. I’d never been, but the BF had & he took me there. The choices are many, and I prefered my pita as a melt and not a wrap. I don’t know what sort of Italian dressing they use for the Italian pita I had, but that coupled with the light garlicky taste used on the outside when they grilled it was just heaven-made. The place is small, unassuming, and you can get a combo with chips & a drink for $ 6.50. Totally worth it and I am impressed.
