Yoga, the Sanskrit word for«union», if applied as a practice can give you a connection of mind, body, and spirit as well as a respite from the stresses of daily life. As someone who has practiced yoga on and off over the years I am by no means a guru. I do however have enough experience with yoga classes, teachers, and studios to know that Yoga Renaissance is a class act.
This studio opened in January 2015 and is nestled in the corner of a strip mall in Chesterfield(next to my favorite Mexican restaurant-Charro!!) The studio is decorated in a modern, clean and serene style that will help you get into that«zen» state of mind. This studio offers a small array of classes, mostly Yoga Basics, Hatha, and Vinyasa Flow. There is quite a variety of instructors that teach yoga at Yoga Renaissance so you are sure to find one you like. I do wish the cost per class was not quite so expensive but I understand the studio has to turn a profit. Additionally, I wish there were a few classes offered on Sunday as this is one of my favorite days to practice. If you like to practice yoga or are curious about trying it Yoga Renaissance is a good place to check out. They have an amazing website with a lot of content and even the ability to register for classes.
