Grass-fed beef, plus pastured pork, poultry, eggs, and lamb, and even organic veggies in season. This small family farm has it all. I’ve been shopping from them for over a year now and the more I learn the more I love them. Everything they do is biodynamic, sustainable, and organic, even though they’re not certified. I’ve been lucky enough to visit the farm and they take pastured/free-range to a whole other level. The space the animals have is amazing, including woods for the pigs to romp in and an old apple orchard that the cows actually gallop through.(I didn’t even know that cows could run, but they sure do when their favorite farmer drives into their field with a tractor full of extra grass.) They buy very high-quality feed for the poultry, too — no soy or corn. No, it’s not as cheap as the feedlot beef at Wal-Mart. This family works hard and sustainable farming is an expensive endeavor. But it’s worth every penny. Pay the farmer now or the doctor later :)
