I am very disappointed in the costumer service I received tonight. I have ordered from Armand’s for a very long time and their pizza was always good. I’m sad to say I will no longer be a customer of theirs!!! I ordered pizza tonight over grub hub for Armand’s at 6:00. At 7:40 I still had no pizza even though grub hub confirmed that the delivery was on its way. When I contacted the restaurant, they said they had never gotten my order. So I was initially blaming poor grub hub. Come to find out that someone at Armand’s received my order and marked it as being out for delivery without ever processing the order!!! It’s now 8 and I have to put my starving kids to bed for school, so I decide to cancel the order and feed them grilled cheese. I call Armand’s-to let them know I’m disappointed. All I get is an «I’m sorry about that-we offered to send out your order now, but you declined»!! Yes!!! i declined!!! It’s 8pm!!! My kids are hungry!!! Now I wasn’t looking for free food, I promise! I was however looking for a little more than an «I’m sorry». In a manner that made me feel that I wasn’t that important of a customer to be a little nicer to. Good Job Armand’s on your customer service!!! You have lost one for it!!!

Armand’s is my favorite pizza to order from up here in Northcenter. Seriously one of the best thin crust pizzas up here and a good price. When I was a vegetarian I used to get the pineapple + giardiniera. They have the best giardiniera, very fresh and awesome. Now I’m eating meat again and their western pizza w/BBQ sauce(by request) is stupid good. Recommend ordering square cut cause duh. Other solid thin pizzas I like for reference: — Lou Malnati’s — Calo Ristorante — D’Agostino’s(prob the best«pizza + movie when you were a kid» pizza for when you want to house a ton of pizza) — Riverview Tavern pizza — Bartoli’s on Addison — Coalfire on Southport(«gourmet pizza» so not like a normal eating pizza… more like an occasion pizza)

There are things you need to find when you move. A good grocery store, a good bar, a good Chinese place and a good pizza place. Armand’s fills the void left by other thin crust places and has quickly become our go to place for thin, cracker crust pizza. Reasonably priced and tasty.

Chicago thin(a little chewy too, yum!) crust at its best. Wanna take it to the next level? Go double dough! Homemade mozzarella sticks? You’ll never be able to choke down an average frozen mozz stick again. Consistent quality, speedy delivery, this is our new go-to pizza joint.

Came in for slices a little over an hour before close. Asked if they were going to make anymore slices as the spread was sparse. They said no which was fine it’s close to closing time I’ll just get whatever’s leftover. A guy comes in right behind me and asks the same thing, they tell him«5 minutes» and make new slices!!! What?!? When I asked why they were making new slices for him and not me they just ignored me. Wow

Pretty decent slices! Their salads are awesome too; they don’t skimp on the good stuff like olives or artichoke hearts. Their garlic dressing is fantastic, too. Take my word for it… Ask for extra on the side!!!

Sorry Armand’s — I wanted to love you but your inability to receive my order tonight results in one star, but I will admit you have tasty pizza. I would have loved to enjoy some tonight, which is why I ordered it, but unfortunately, this didn’t happen. Had a few friends over for dinner and some football tonight. Everyone was starving but we decided to get Armand’s just based on my friend living nearby and being a huge fan. We expected a bit of a wait but we were ready for it. Ordered around 715, order set to arrive around 830. Perfect. 830 comes and goes… so does 845. Around 9, the game is practically over so we call to see what’s up. I call the restaurant, the have no record of my order. The woman who answers puts me on hold; then comes back and says that grubhub is on the other line and they never got my order. She’s sorry and do I want my food still. At this point we are starving, so yes, still want my food. I politely asked if I would be refunded for my order to apologize for the issues and the epic delay in my meal. She says I will not be refunded if I decide I still want my meal. I understand that I placed the order through grubhub so I get that, but if a restaurant is signing up for this service and allow people to order online, they need to have a working fax machine. I get it, things happen, however I believe at the very least I should have been sent the meal I ordered for free to apologize for the issues but they didn’t provide me with that, which is just bad customer service and will result in me not giving them another chance.

Delicious thin crust pizza. Thoroughly enjoyed one topped with Italian sausage and giardiniera. Unlike most thin crusts with giard, this stood up to the oil and remained crispy throughout. The giard has a nice kick and features generous slices of veggies. If you’re looking for giard on your pizza, you’d be hard-pressed to do better than Armand’s. The Italian sausage(Armand’s own) presents a nice blend of spices as well. Gary(the owner) is a great guy. He’s often around working in a multitude of capacities and is in great spirits. The entire staff is excellent. Although I’ve only stopped by the pizzeria, they have a generous delivery zone, too. And you simply can’t beat the«2 for Tuesdays» deal!

Thin crust pizza with lots of corn meal, not too much sauce or cheese. I wish the sauce had a bit more zip of red pepper, but it’s still pretty tasty. The Armand’s Salad(not the same as the House Salad), which is huge, is always fresh and tasty with crispy lettuce, fontinella, artichoke hearts, and a few strips of roasted red pepper. One time I paid and then went outside to wait with my dog for my carryout, and when my order was ready, instead of calling me back in or letting my food sit and get cold until I returned, the very nice woman at the counter brought everything outside to me.

By far, my favorite go-to delivery spot. Whenever I try a new place, I ended up wishing I’d ordered Armand’s instead. Great crust, good sauce, always perfectly cooked — their homemade sausage is especially great. The apps are decent and the mozzarella sticks are good if a bit soggy sometimes. Customer service is solid too and I’ve never had any issues with delivery.

Set oven to 400, that’s about how much effort goes into the food. There are so many better pizza places around. Chicken parm sandwich was decent, but pizza, salad, mostaccioli were bad. Also, said pick up would be ready in 30min, it took 50min as I sat and waited.

Average pizzeria. The pizza and salad was good. It’s mostly takeout service but there are a couple of tables to sit at if you wanted to eat there.

By far the best solution for a thin crust pizza that’s not your typical MidWest cracker style in the North Center/Ravenswood neighborhood. Great sauce, has a sweetness to it. Quick and hot delivery. For sure you’ll want to get the garlic bread with cheese to go with your pie. The meal compliments very well with Netflix and a good Chardonnay… or Old Style. Basically, this pizza takes the shame away from spending a Friday night binging.

Very solid pizza. Crust was thin but had great flavor and good crunch, but not like cracker. 18″ is plenty for 3 – 4 people Ora very hungry 2. Will order again, as this place was just the kind of pizza I was looking for on a lazy Friday night.

I called Armand’s on western to order a pizza at 6:45PM just a simple 1 pie order. I have ordered from them in the past and they even had my information when I called. 90 min later i called to ask where my pizza is and was told they handed my order off to the Division location. I asked why and the woman told me it was a courtesy. She considered herself done with me and basically told me it wasn’t her problem now. I asked for the number to division street to investigate. Once I called the division street location I was met with threatening expletives and an invitation to come over so I could get a beating. I just wanted to know where my pizza was. The Western location felt it was now out of their hands and I could just pound sand. I was also charged for the pizza that never came and was told they deleted the charge. We’ll see? What a joke…

Armand’s was generous enough to donate the food for Open Books’ pre-race pasta dinner this evening(Team Bookin’ It 4 Lyfe!). The portions were ample and made for a convivial evening of carbo loading or simply appreciating the goodness of Italian comfort food for those who are less than diehard runners. The food itself was straightforward, but the preparation was clearly standout. Even salad, which can be ho-hum, was excellent in this case. The lettuce was crisp and there were plenty of good bits– cucumbers, cheese crumbles, tomatoes, roasted red pepper, and artichoke hearts. There were two pasta selections– a traditional baked ziti with lots of cheesy goodness and a vegan option, featuring sauce and pasta only. The cheese was just the right amount, and not overbearing. The non-cheese option was perfect in its simplicity, as I could appreciate the nuances of the red sauce. The crusty Italian bread was a nice touch and helped sop up some of the pasta sauce. I might add that all of this was carry-out and consumed off premises. The way in which the items were packaged and presented spoke volumes about the level of care that goes into each order. I am grateful to Armand’s for supporting this very worthy cause and helping fortify us runners for the race ahead. Knowing this place offers pizza(thin crust!) and by the slice to boot, East Coast style, might prompt me to darken their door sooner rather than later, perhaps for a post-race slice.

My family and I walked into Armand’s intrigued at the idea the pizzeria has been open since 1956. My mother and sister ordered some pizza by the slice and I ordered the meatball sandwich. The food came out of the kitchen very fast for a pizzeria that had opened only fifteen minutes ago which is a plus! The pizza came out hot and fresh. The meatball sandwich came with some sea salt chips and peppers on the side and a Pepsi. The meatball sandwich was average. However, the bread was very thick and crunchy and enjoyable. My mother and sister being as I call«bird eaters» did not finish the second slice of pizza they had. So, I took the job of finishing it off for them. The pizza on the other hand was stellar. It was a true beauty of a pizza in Chicago. The cheese was just light enough and perfectly topped with pepperoni. As I write this my mother wanted me to add«In the fifteen years I’ve lived in Chicago this is some of the best pizza I’ve had in awhile». Halfway through our meal a man with a very nice smile walks in the door and starts talking to my family. He started taking to us and was very friendly. After that, he offered free gelato! My family of course took him up on that offer. My sister got a Vanilla gelato which she said was amazing and I got a Peach gelato. My peach was perfect! It was some great gelato and I was very thankful! Overall, this place has killer pizza, normal other food, and most of all outstanding service. If I lived in the area, I would take advantage of the carry-out or delivery a lot!
