Art Zone is a great place to hold a private party! A group of my friends rented Art Zone out one evening as our private noraebang(Korean karaōke room). The owners were phenomenal hosts. Not only were they friendly and accommodating, they actually joined in the fun!

I came here on a sunday evening with a friend for coffee/tea. You have to walk into the back to order the drinks(yes interesting). The place is owned by an older Korean couple, but they are very friendly. Costs: drinks are around $ 4 and ppatbingso is around $ 6+ Plum tea — I enjoyed the korean plum tea. It is a bit sweet so make sure you allow the ice to melt a little or a lot prior to drinking. Atmosphere — cute Korean traditional décor, but a little run down so it might not be as nice of a place to go to if you’re on a date? I think they have a outdoor patio too, but haven’t checked it out yet. Parking — free street parking on weekends.

This café has some serious atmosphere. As others have mentioned, it’s like walking into an art installation filled with psychedelic paintings, mismatched chairs, eerie found objects, and mystical wood sculptures. There is a «messy stoner» feel to Art Zone that separates it from coffee shops of the«quaint Western classist» variety. You can go here and do regular café things like drink, talk, read, etc. Or you can just sit and gaze at the art like the spacehead you know you secretly are.

This is my absolute favorite café! After work, my friend and I wanted to try something new and came across this place. It’s a hidden gem among other Korean cafés but I urge you, if you’re in the area, make a stop and visit the ArtZone gallery and café. Every inch of this place is decked out with art, mostly of which were made by the owner himself. The owners of this place are very kind, welcoming, and genuine people. They even sang karaōke with us! They offer open karaōke, open stage, and delicious beverages and desserts. This review is based on my first visit but I can’t rave enough about it!

Haven’t found another place like this in the city. Best during the summer, this place is like an art installation you can eat in. Can’t love this spot enough!

It’s the hidden place on the opposite side of the street of Outdoor Café and Java n Mug. I was the only person there when I went and I think this place was great. It’s a totally different atmosphere than Java or Outdoor as it was very quiet and not kitschy. Nice pieces of art are displayed on the wall. Had the mango bubble tea and a hot green tea and both were very good. I liked how the green tea was loose leaf and served in the special tea cup where it brews in the cup and you can remove the top part. I wish it was open later though…

This is definitely a hidden gem. We just came across this wonderful place after trying to get a seat at a café across the street. No one else was there but us and I don’t know why. They had all these beautiful Korean art on the walls and some were displayed inside the tables. We went outside the back and were pleasantly surprised by the cozy but beautiful seatings. Parts of the café seem a little disorganized but the«pat bingsoo»(red bean ice treat) was delicious especially because they used fresh fruit instead of the canned kind. This is definitely a good place to get cozy with your date(to impress them with the art and some amazing dessert). I wish it was more organized though.
