Autrepart Nature

I can’t tell you how excited I am to have found Autrepart! I started using Couleur Caramel cosmetics a few years ago when I went looking for a natural cosmetic line packaged with less plastic. I searched and searched on the internet and found this fantastic French line. At the time, though, I could only order it from a boutique in Minnesota. No one else carried it. Until now. Yea! I was just about out of both eye shadow and blush and voila! Today I was able to buy both at Autrepart, along with some luscious lip gloss. I intend to go back in the next couple of weeks to find a new skincare regimen. Why not? Plus I can say hi again to that rug-​of-​a-​dog, Java. A+++!

This is my favorite store in Chicago. French store that is. It is truly hard to find true french products all in one place. People always ask me what I use for skincare, The answer is: Products from France and you can find them all at Autrepart Nature. There are many treasures here from soaps to hair products to magic potions to make you feel and smell amazing. Julie the owner and Jabba the star of the store are always happy to see you. If you want organic, high quality, cosmetics and skin care, you have found the place.

i just bought a bar of soap last week at autrepart. i can’t wait to go back! The owner was fantastic, she gave me a free sample, and after reading the other reviews, I want to check out their parfume.

Autrepart is fantastic. From being greeted by Java, the Newfoundland at the front door, to Julie’s warm greeting and laid back conversation I always make it a point to stop by her shop when I’m in the area.
The shop specializes in French soaps, cosmetics and scents and it is truly one of a kind (Caudalie, Nuxe, Florame, Savon de Marseille, etc.). Julie is happy to make recommendations and to have you try samples. This has resulted in two purchase on my end that were awesome.
Julie’s customer service and demeanor are fabulous, if you’re in the area, I would highly suggest you stop by. There’s something there for everyone. At the very least, check out the line of soaps by Savon de Marseille (especially the donkey’s milk), there’s something to be said for hand-​milled soaps.

This boutique often holds events, where you can get personal consultations for free and enjoy cocktails with a small group of friends. Just ask the owner, Julie, who is super fun to talk to, very down to earth, and knows every product as if she made it herself.

Even though I don’t live in Chicago anymore (sad I know), I still adore Autrepart Nature! My friend is getting married next month and I immediately thought of Julie and her shop when it comes to wedding gifts! Julie is so thoughtful and put together a basket full of goodies for the newlywed. I have to say I am addicted to anything lavender, so of course I asked for a basket full of lavender bath salts, massage oil, body butter etc. for the couple.
Having allergies and asthma all my life, I truly believe organic products are the way to go. This cute little shop has what I love and more. Don’t forget to pick up Argon Oil from Naturelle d’Argan. I use it everyday to moisturize my cuticle. Another of my favorite is the black soap with eucalyptus. This shop carries high quality skincare products, and once you shop here, you will never go back to buying cheap stuff at your local CVS/​Walgreens!

The owner is so kind and has the most adorable dog! What an inviting experience to have a cute dog greet you at the door :) The soaps here are so luxurious and of the highest quality!

I had such a wonderful experience here; spend ½ hour speaking French with the owner, Julie, and her lovely little girl (who speaks better French than me, which is so sad! For me.) I apologize, but thanks for telling my accent was great!
I saw items I have previously only found in France, including the most amazing array of French soaps. Ok, this will sound odd, but stay with me. The most glorious, amazing, delicious smelling soap in the place is donkey’s milk soap. Seriously. I took one smell and opened my wallet. It lathers well and is creamy. Oh la la.
In addition to soaps, skin care and the like, they sell these really wonderful tote bags with French sayings and whatnot on them (in two sizes). Can’t wait to go back for more donkey stuff and a swell bag.

I recognized some of the brands Autrepart Nature carries and some others I look forward to trying. My absolute favorite part of the store is their collection of handmade french bars of soap. They have literally 2 dozens scents to choose from! Looking forward to going back!
