I wasn’t expecting much. Can’t really describe the inside other than it was in need of updating and could use a little dusting. Other than that, I was surprised how much I liked this place.
The patrons (which seemed like they were there quite often) and the cute Polish barmaid Monica were really nice and asked if I worked/​lived in the area, which was a good icebreaker.
They had the same stuff you’d find in any café plus sandwiches, pizza, and some homemade ice cream. The dessert sounded too good to pass up so I got 2 scoops of hazelnut along with my cappuccino. I absolutely loved the ice cream and it definitely didn’t taste like it came out of an Eddy’s container. Both came to $ 6.
I’d love to come back if ever in the area. Cash only
