I don’t like complaining about a restaurant. I’m just going to give an advice to the owner. If you want your business to grow get rid of the two Thai ladies working. I stop going to bounmy when they are working which is Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The food is always sloppy. Just have the guy cook train someone the same way he works. There’s a big difference the way they cook. The ladies look like they are forced to work. Definitely nothing against them but I prefer my food made by the guy.

Cheap, easy food in Lakeview. Really nice folks inside — and the food is tasty. Definitely helping me continue my trend of not cooking at home when I should be.

I live around the corner from Bounmy. Prices are reasonable having in my mind its boystown. Place always clean(never seen this place dirty since they open). I come here about 3 times week. Cashier always friendly I think her name is Caren. Always has something to talk about which is good makes you feel comfortable and wanting to come back. Other cashier really sweet as well(don’t know her name). In my opinion I prefer to have my food prepare by the guy cook. He makes sure the food is the way I want it. Other cook(Asian lady) needs a little more practice. Might be my luck but when she makes my food is always slappy. Other that wonderful place and workers. My favorite fast food!

Good cheap neighborhood hole-in-the-wall burger joint. Every neighborhood needs a place like this.

If you can’t be great, at least be consistent. Bounmy is neither, which is really too bad because they replaced a well-loved community favorite, ‘Relish the Thought.’ The prices here a pretty low, at least the specials. The servings have, in my experience, been large. The food is absolutely hit(barely) or miss, ranging from ‘meh’ to ‘guh’. The wings are breaded, if you are in to that, but the sauce is pure salt, and the wings themselves are crazy greasy. Inconsistent? Yes. The hours posted online are subject to change whenever. The hours on their door are not correct, and they are likely to close up to an hour before the posted time. Look, hours on the door are removable! If you close early, take the sign down or edit it. That said, they do have pizza puffs, so that is nice.

Never have I ever been able to get Greek Gyros and Mexican Tortas in the same place. Both were good! The prices were good too. I’ll be back to try other items

Brand new place on Halsted @ Belmont where Relish the Thought used to be. Everything is new, clean and shiny, the family run staff is great, and the everything I’ve eaten there(which is almost everything now) has been delicious, and it really shows that they care about putting out a product that not only tastes great, but also presented well. If I had to pick one favorite? Try the Reuben!
