Burger Hub

It takes a lot for me to take the time to leave a review but I must say yuck. The food I ordered was very disappointing. Everything was extremely salty to the point of being inedible. (Burger and tots.) Also ordered chips and guac because I needed to meet the order minimum. Guac was bad, really bad. Not fresh at all and strange taste like it was full of «miracle whip» (remember that stuff?) or something. Just didn’t taste right. They included no ketchup in order either which is odd for a burger and tots order. I will not order from here again. Bleh.

WONDERFUL BURGERS love the Juicy Lucy! But the delivery is pretty bad and I do not like that you can’t actually pick it up without ordering first via grubhub. They made accommodations but I had already paid for delivery because the wait time was 2hrs. I have been here 3 times so far and will be back. My burger was not under cooked was juicy and FAB! My husband loves the Western/​Division burger. There bacon cheese fries are pretty good can be a bit salty sometimes but other wise I like real ground beef burgers unlike other places.

This place is located a few blocks away from me, and having been here a few times already, it’s definitely a hit or miss affair. The food is very tasty when actually prepared properly. The quality control here is non-​existent. If they would hire someone who could actually prepare a burger in its varying stages, the reviews would be much better. The other knock has to be the lack of consistency in regards to extras/​pricing. I paid $ 2 for bacon as an extra and received one slice one time and a few slices another time. For burgers ranging from $ 9 and up, the potential is there, but as of now the quality doesn’t justify the price

Great customer service and great food. They stayed open extra time for me and still cooked one of the best burgers in chicago. Like I said greatest customer service I’ve had in a very long time and a just as great meal

2.5 hour delivery time. Lets start there. At the 2 hour point, and after calling them twice and given lame excuses, my expectations for the quality of my order were bleak. When it finally arrived my fearful expectations were handed to me in 2 styrofoam containers. Thoroughly soggy fries that I had to angryly throw in the oven to barely salvage, the «slice» of tomato that looked like it had already been chewed, the (2) thinnest room temperature pickle pieces, the mangled chunks of avacado so hard I’m actually impressed they were able to cut it at all, the strips of bacon that barely covered half the burger, which, unless it uncooked itself in the TWO HOUR DELIVERY DRIVE was never really cooked and completely raw… oh and after trying to make the best of what looked like a poor man’s Big Mac my gf found a long, black/​grey hair amidst her ice cold tater tots. And thats when the meal concluded. Still hungry and frustrated, it ended. Do not order from this pathetic establishment. I definitely won’t ever again. The single star rating is an overstatement.

I ordered them via grub hub. Their burger came as a cold lump of raw meat. I called to let them know I wasn’t happy. I was told the manager would get a hold of me. A few days later with no response… Here I am.
I can deal with undercooked food and try a place again.
I won’t deal with a place that ignores their customers complaints.

Great burgers and the owner and his crew are pretty solid. I’m making my way down the menu but so far my favorite burger is the Western/​Division.
Never had an ordered delivered because I live so close but usually my orders are ready within 15 min.

This is my first ever Unilocal review but I had to write one for this place because I probably would’ve ordered from some place else if I had read the reviews before placing my order. My family was in town and it was a cold winter night so we decided to order in but because we didn’t want pizza we turned to GrubHub. The delivery took a while but the food was great! All meals were hot and ready to eat. The delivery guy was very nice and all servings were very plentiful. Nothing incredibly outstanding but definitely a good dinner! Have to give Burger Hub some credit!

I was extremely nervous to order from here because of the other reviews, but it wasn’t as bad as some others’ experiences. The food arrived within an appropriate time, and the meat was cooked according to how we ordered it. However, it just really wasn’t anything special. I was extremely underwhelmed. There are so many other, better places to order food, and I think I’ll order from those places from now on.

This is one of the worst places I have ever had delivery from. Normally, I don’t like to write negative reviews. I keep mine positive. However, this place was just bad enough that I felt it was necessary.
No one ordered something they were happy with. All the fries were soggy, and the burgers? Horrible. Those of us who ordered well done, had pink inside. And the inconsistent thickness of the burgers meant it was uneven and only small parts were well done. The bleu cheese burger? Had a small smear of what looked like bleu cheese and that is it. Toppings were meager, the flavors were not great, and it was overall barely edible.
Our delivery was almost an hour and a half, which seemed very long for some burgers.
Definitely not trying this place again.

Okay this is my second time eating here the first time was good the second time is where I have a problem. I got the juicy Lucy and fried Twinkie. The Twinkie was amazing and is the only reason I’m giving this two stars. My burger was ordered medium on grub hub and was raw in the middle not not pink but flat out raw. The outside looked normal so I assumed it was okay I bit into it and it was raw. Not slightly pink but raw and still cold. I really hope I don’t get sick from this. I also ordered avocado on the burger which was crunchy. How the heck is avocado crunchy?! Pretty much unless your getting the fried Twinkie it’s hit and miss here. Now here’s to hoping I don’t get food poisoning.

Ordered food from here via GrubHub. We chose the two build-​your-​own burgers with order of fries– one with Cheese. The food arrived after 1 hour and 30 minutes. It was cold, one burger undercooked (just about safe to eat!) and missing Cheese fries.
Please avoid!!! At all costs!

Ordered online, easy to use website and quick delivery. Food was, meh. Styrofoam boxes don’t exactly work wonders on buns/tots/fries…switch packaging? Burger was undercooked. Ordered medium, was cooked red and chewy. Toppings were disappointing as well.
Overall my order could have been rushed on a busy Friday night, but first impressions are everything in foodservice.
Will I order again? No
Should you? Go ahead — but don’t expect sit down burger bar quality, and order the party well done.

I just ordered a burger and poutine from GrubHub. While the delivery was exceptionally fast, the food was so salty that I couldn’t eat beyond a few bites of the burger or the side. Seriously, even separate containers couldn’t hold the sodium back. I’m not sure if their salt shaker was having an off night or if the food is always this way, but I feel like I just wasted my $ 29 tonight.

My roommate and I ordered off of grub hub today. Delivery estimate was crazy at almost two hours, but our food got here way quicker. I think we only waited about 50 minutes. I got the poutine burger which is huge! Big portion for the price. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It was super flavorful. The fries were crispy, the cheese curds tasted fresh, and the gravy was good.
This was my first time eating here and I will definitely try it again.

Seriously you guys? $ 2 for 1oz of guacamole, if that? I asked for it on the side, not to get hella chintzy with it.
*EDIT* Apparently someone saw my complaint and refunded my guacamole. That is very nice. I will add that they seem to be improving on their delivery time and I stand by my description of their burgers in my original review.

I ordered for delivery. I had the guacamole burger and tater tots which were really good. The burger was cooked perfectly. My son had the bacon burger and fries which he also enjoyed. Why only 2 stars? It took 2 hours and 30 minutes for the food to be delivered, so the food was good but not worth waiting that long for. I will not be ordering from here again

Ordered delivery via GrubHub last night because Rockit Burger Bar was closed (boo!).
The loaded tater tots were pretty good, and I loved the coupon for a free fried twinkie with $ 30 purchase, but the rest of the food (turkey burger with guacamole, Western burger) was just so-​so. Really made me wish I had put on outside clothes and gone to the Bad Apple instead, instead of wasting one of my burger meals with this.
Also, delivery took over 90 minutes. Definitely off my delivery options list.

Terrible round blob of meat on a bun like if you make it at home and don’t press the meat flat while cooking and it becomes a blobby mass. Tasteless. Hard to eat on a bun. Most irritating that I ordered the juicy Lucy which was supposed to be stuffed with cheese. Instead it had cheese on top but not stuffed. Not at all as described. I can make a better burger at home. Totally disappointing.

We tried delivery (via GrubHub) tonight. They specialize in various gourmet style burgers made of Angus beef or turkey. We shared a half pound turkey based burger with bacon and cheddar mixed in. It was also topped with bacon. It was ok, but the burger needed more seasoning and could have been moister. The fries were ok, but nothing special.
For dessert we tried their cream puff cupcake. It was pretty tasty.
Overall the food was pretty good, but we thought it was a tad pricey. I wish they had a ¼ pound burger that was less expensive. Delivery was prompt and pleasant.
