Got delivery today, was very disappointed. The food came in very soggy. There was no flavor in the meat. We didn’t get the extra avocado. Quality has really degraded.

This is the first time I eat from this place(even though I’ve live in this neighborhood for 10 yrs). I ordered online thru eat24. The food was ready within mins and I was able to pick it up right away. We ordered tacos, enchilada dinner, and a hot dog. The food looked great but didn’t taste so great. The chicken enchiladas were TOOSALTY and the rice and beans that came with it were just as salty. According to my husband the tacos were good so that’s why I gave them 3 stars.

I wanted to love this place so badly! It’s close to home, delivery was fast and super friendly, and the prices are fair. But, alas, it was not to happen today. [Perhaps they had an off-day. I will give them ONE more try. But that’s it!] Ordered steak enchilada dinner(my favorite when done right) and one«al pastor»(pork) taco. The taco was pretty good, to be fair. I would say worth the money. The up-charge for avocado was also worth it. Super salty, but still, not bad. The enchiladas? A nightmare! The most oily dish I have EVER, EVER seen at any Mexican restaurant.(Took a photo and will post if I can figure out how.) The steak had little flavor and a strange taste reminiscent of fish! ??? Huh? How’s that?! The tortillas might have been good, but they were so drenched in oil I couldn’t tell. Hardly any cheese atop(although the cheese itself was tasty.). The rice was good; beans bland. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. Again, the taco warrants one more shot for this joint. Will adjust rating, if so.

The gyros at Burrito Joint are really good and fairly inexpensive. With a side of cheese fries and a gyro it’s all you need for a good meal. The employees are nice and the restaurant is always clean. I never have had a problem eat in the restaurant so that’s always a plus.

LOOOVE their ham and egg sandwiches on french bread with french fries. Very big servings of food, which is always a plus. I’m not sure if the people working here are the owners but either way, they are always so nice! I’m so glad that we live so close to this spot.

The quest for a good burrito in Logan Square continues and up next is the restaurant with the most uninspired, straight to the point name in the world, «Burrito Joint». One can only hope there’s a «Burger Joint» and slew of other restaurants with generic names given to you when you’re playing Sim City. Looking at the prices, they’re all pretty close to standard with maybe a .50−75 cent markup since it is hipster laden Logan Square after all. I went with the standard ground beef burrito and a breaded steak tostada. Delivery took about an hour even though I’m about 2 miles away which was no worries to me, but if you’re hungry I’d try a place a bit quicker. Opening up the tostada first everything looked great. You can definitely tell the people at Burrito Joint take pride in preparing things since this was the neatest, packed tight sandwich I’d seen in awhile. All the ingredients looked fresh except for the breaded steak which you can tell is one of those extremely processed frozen patties that doesn’t taste anything like steak. The ingredients around the steak, especially the bread were tasty, but the cheap frozen pattie made it seem like I was eating a sponge. Overall they lose a lot of points for this doozy. The ground beef burrito was great. It tasted and was prepared exactly like your mom would make them as a kid, that’s how homemade they are. The size itself was pretty big(I ordered a large burrito for about $ 6). The meat was seasoned nicely and the fresh ingredients blended perfectly. When I was finished I immediately turned around to ask my mom for another helping then realized I’m a grown man with my own apartment! I’m looking forward to trying out the burritos among other things this place has to offer in the future. So far I can say the burritos are good, but the tostada makes me wary of anything else they have on the menu. I also ordered a lemonade which was so watered down it wasn’t funny along with them throwing in a huge amount of ice for no other reason than to limit the amount of lemonade they could put in the cup(its like 30 degrees in Chicago why would I need so much ice…) This place loses a lot of points for shady & cheap business practices.

The people working here are nice. The gyros are pretty damn good and everything is relatively inexpensive. They do delivery but it’s close so I always walk over. I’m deducting a star for the variable fries. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here but it is nice to have another option close to home.

This place has good burritos but I don’t know if I would order any«American» food from them. I had the original beef burrito with the works and it filled me up! If your looking for a big juicy burrito go the Burrito Joint(no need to order fries).

The food is cheap and fast. But you get what you pay for. I had the chicken burrito. The chicken, beans, and rice were tasteless. If you are looking for a burrito, torta, chimichanga, or any other Mexican delight in Logan Square, just walk a few blocks east on Fullerton and hit up El Pacifico(3534 West Fullerton). They offer not only great service, but outstanding eats.

This place is delicious. The delivery is always fast. The deliverer is always nice. I’ve tried many things from here… beef burrito, tostada, taco salad, enchiladas, salsa… all of it is VERY tasty. The burritos are HUGE and so cheap. A+!

I just moved back to Logan Square and was super psyched to see this place close to my new flat. I love the HUGE Piedra Del Sol(Aztec Calendar) wood carving they have hanging. Awesome piece. I’ve visited about 6 times and have had the chance to try a variety of items. I’m not a fan of the Carne Asada Burritos, but the cook said that he would make Bean, Cheese, and Rice even though it wasnt on the menu, which I thought was a very cool move. The hot dogs were dookie. However, I loved the Italian Beef and Gyro’s. Both of which were surpisingly good. I will definitely be an avid supporter of this local joint for the duration of my stay here, but I had to deduct a star for the crappy hot dog and sometimes not so crisp fries. Check out the 2 gyro deal, sooo clutch!

Ive been eating here through all the past owners and its still as good as ever. The only thing that ever changes are the fries and boy do they evolve! Anyway skip getting mexican food here, not that that isnt good but the main stage definitely belongs to their gyros. Straight off the spit better than most greek joints, and they arent stingy with their meat!

I love great finds like this! I wandered in this little Mexican dive while my car was getting repaired at Chicago Motors. Had the best veggie burrito I’ve had in years! I love Mexican food and hey, this is Chicago, so I have a lot of it. Therefore the best burrito I’ve had in years is pretty darn good! The very nice man that took our order and made our food didn’t charge for us to add avocado’s, either. Sweet!

Five stars for classy, kind people who own and run this place, and who obviously care if you are enjoying yourself and the food. There’s not a whole lot of choice for eats at Fullerton and Pulaski. But that’s where I had to meet my people today, so we wandered in. The tables and food counter are covered in orange formica. Don’t let that scare you. The place is spic ‘n’ span. You could eat off the floors. The wall menu is basic. It lists, for example, junior and senior size burritos, but it doesn’t tell you what’s in them. Why? You’re supposed to know, or ask. Very basic. Very authentic. There are basic categories, like«breakfast,» «lunch» and«dinner.» Now, here’s the cool part: the owner was perceptive enough to realize we were there for a while, to talk. We weren’t going to be in and out. We ordered, and I tried to pay him. «No, no,» he says to me. «You folks relax. I’ll bring your food when it’s ready. And if you like it, maybe you’ll order some more.» The portions were too large to order more. But I’ll say this: three of us ate for a handful under $ 20 bucks and it was damn good.
