Very nice people, good food, and an excellent value across their menu. Been here maybe 4 or 5 times. Usually I’ll stop by late or after a visit to the grocery store, as it’s a shared parking lot. Shrimp fried rice with orange chicken, plus a can of pop and a spring roll, or egg roll-or whatever they are called all for under $ 8 made my long day end on a high note. Seriously must just have gained 5 pounds because try servings were massive. Noticed another reviewed believed they deserved the absolutely lowest review because they stopped delivering to them? Sounds a bit harsh… maybe even spiteful. Maybe they’re being forced find a new place-that they previously loved, because they were unpleasant to deliver to and did not wish to offend them by offering an explanation. I am Thankful this place is close by my home, so I supposed I may be biased as I have never had them deliver. And prefer to pick up myself anyways.

We order from here all of the time and the portions are huge and tasty. We were disappointed tonight when they called us back saying they don’t deliver to our area anymore without any explanation. What a bummer! Now the search for a new go to Chinese place starts :(

Recently ordered here from Grubhub, really wish they would give more detail since my past ordering experience, I order Lo Mien but somehow its not the same thing at every restaurant. I’m not someone to not tip someone when they’ve done an amazing job, have great customer service or have delivered in fraction of the time, but honestly I didn’t see fit to give them more than the $ 3 delivery fee after I was forced to order $ 20 worth of food. Honestly, I don’t know how it works but isn’t that where it goes to? But this guy almost took the whole hour to get here and had the nerve to demand a tip! And it’s not like I ordered during their busiest hours. My complain is that when the food did arrive, it was leaking water? Juice? I don’t know. Something. I could taste the poor quality in the food and a lot of grease. I had ordered a mango smoothie and when I sipped the Tapioca pearls were frozen, overall making me wonder if this was stored in the freezer for a long time? Maybe an order from someone who was a no-show? I don’t know how it works but it definitely didn’t taste fresh. Rice was okay, not too fresh but not too old(that I could tell) the husband didn’t like the beef and broccoli. Overall. Okay food just better to be there in person to eat to have it fresh

I had the Orange Chicken(they apparently got an award from grub hub for it) so I thought, what the heck, lets try it… After eating about 1⁄3 of it, I got extremely bloated and gassy within 15 minutes of eating. Within the hour I had to vomit. I spent the rest of my evening in the bathroom switching from diarrhea to vomiting. I had a difficult time sleeping as I had to run back and forth to the bathroom most of the night. I woke up the next day feeling like crap and had to take a sick day to deal with it. long story short, it took me 2 days to recover from eating here. The smell and taste of orange chicken is now engraved in my mind with this horrible experience. I should have known better as the sanitary conditions are sub par. Learn from my mistake — dont eat here unless you want to chance it.

Either every other Chinese restaurant has been making fried rice wrong, or Mexican rice has always been fried rice, I’m just not sure… not worth a dime. The egg roles were all cabbage? Not even flavoring or seasons, just straight up cabbage. The chicken and broccoli had some sort of brown sauce on it, what, why? The Mongolian beef was actually not bad, but again, it was served with Mexican rice, so it sucked. Just not a fan of this new fusion type of food??? Barftastic.

Just had their chicken/broccoli lunch special and WHOA what has happened to this place?! I’ve had their food many times and it was always good, today the chicken was slimy and mushy… Disgusting!!! Only thing I could finish was the egg roll. I don’t know that I want to try them again after todays experience!

China Chef is a great restaurant for what youre paying for. The food is not very expensive and it tastes really good. I plan on going to this restaurant for a good while.

I agree with the other review, but they do something I’ve never seen before. I love tofu and for a small charge you can add tofu to any dish. It can be sauteed or deep-fried(which gives it a light, puffy texture. I will be back just for that.

Yes, pretty average, but if you find a dish you like, it can pay off. The good ones can be very good. =) And cheap!

pretty average strip-mall chinese take-out. better than some, not as good as others. $ 4.50 lunch combos.
