Andy R.‘s review is spot-​on in every way. I always try to find the good in these kind of places because I know their store rent is high, and they don’t get the price breaks big grocery chains get.
But honestly, how the heck do they justify 50−100% markups over the exact same products in stores? This store can be dank, dirty and poorly stocked. «Can be?» Did I write that? It’s ALWAYS unpleasant shopping here.
One of the services I’ve used them for is to ship or mail packages, but even those services are met with confusion. The USPS services are incredibly basic. Anything more than buying first-​class postage rankles them, and their surly, indifferent attitude comes shining through, no matter how much I smile and try to understand their weird rules.
I’ve only shopped here when I’ve had an absolute emergency – like, when I want to get my Funyuns on, or satisfy my addiction to ice cream at 9 pm. Those are the ONLY times I’ve appreciated this place, and I leave the store feeling guilty every time.

I’ve decided to bump up this review to two stars because they agree to let me return some frozen samosas that I purchased there. When I opened the samosas they reeked something foul. The way they were all smooshed to one side of the bag and frozen together it looked as if the food at defrosted at one time, went bad, and then were refrozen. Regardless, I appreciate that they took this item back as it was clearly not something they should sell to their customers.

Now open until 11 pm as of today! woohoo! If they start carrying booze they are getting bumped up to 5 stars.
