I love this nail salon. Everyone is so incredibly nice and friendly. The space is clean and it doesn’t smell like a typical fume-​y nail salon. Reasonable prices, too.

I went to the salon that was formerly at this location a couple of times and wasn’t impressed, so I was glad to see it switch ownership and shuffle things around. I was greeted right away and offered tea or coffee while I sat down. A no chip mani is $ 40, but it includes a neck and shoulder massage and some good hand/​nail treatments. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m super bummed. While I had a good experience overall, the pedicurist scraped up the side of my foot pretty bad. I felt it happen but didn’t think much of it until i got home and saw that it was scraped. I could understand if it was a heavily callused area but it’s the side of my food with my big toe, so it’s actually painful to put weight on that. I had thought about returning, but I don’t think it’s worth the risk. I have gotten pedicures from a few salons in the area and never had this issue. I live really close by so I’m sad that this happened.

The moment I walk in the door I’m greeted by friendly women and it doesn’t stink like toxic chemicals. They don’t do acrylic so it doesn’t burn my nose hairs. :) They hold my hands with care and are very efficient in handling all their instruments. It may take longer than usual to do my nails, but only because they take time to pay such attention to detail. They also give me a hand massage and neck massage. Also a vitamin E hand treatment! For the price I pay, they go above and beyond. I’m referring everyone here! I also noticed a lot of men getting pedicures here. I guess that says something!

This nail salon has gone through a lot different owners and a couple name changes. However I am thrilled with the new owners and their service. All nail technicians are so sweet and attentive. They are bit more expensive than other places and sometimes they take a bit longer, but you get what you pay for — which is a long lasting manicure and pedicure. Hope this place stays around for a long time! I highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, and very friendly staff! Have been a handful of times now to get gel and a pedicure. I would recommend trying the place out. Being able to do walk ins or appointments are great. You get shoulder and hand massages when you get your nails done. Fun music playing and a tv to watch or lots of magazines to read. They show you the nail polish color on their nail which is helpful, because we know sometimes a color in the bottle doesn’t look the same on your nails.

I am very pleased with this new family team in a very pleasant and calm salon. It is very clean and bright. They have the largest selection of products I have ever seen. My favorite technician is Emily but all three seem to be skilled with excellent attention to detail. Emily is a perfectionist. It may take longer for your services here but it is worth it. This is a huge improvement over the last two salons at this location.

It was super busy last Saturday!
But I never make an appointment for my eyebrow wax because I arrive regularly irregular and I have never been sent back home without being serviced! She is so quick and gentle. She makes you feel very comfortable! I have extra sensitive skin and I had absolutely no reaction to it, thanks to her skill!
And I really like getting my nails done here. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. Love the shoulder massage at the end of the nail treatment. I also like how clean the place is. Everything from the instruments, to the bowls, to the tables, are very clean. The person up front is always accommodating and friendly!
I will be back and highly recommend to anyone!

I don’t really have any complaints about this place. Been here twice, walked in both times because I decided that I deserved to treat my feet.
Despite overlooking the highly trafficked Belmont Avenue, somehow it feels calm in this space. The décor is thoughtful with some beautiful pieces that surprised me. When one gets a spa pedicure, an employee rubs your shoulders for 5 minutes while you let your toes dry.
They even accommodate me when I ask for alternating colors on my toes. One color is just too boring for me as of late.
$ 40 for a spa pedicure. They also have a punch card — after 10 services, you get a free manicure.

I would not even give this place 1 star if it were up to me. I went in to this place after the renovation from it being Pink Polish to now ME: U and thought it would be great, but I was mistaken. I literally live across the street from this place and thought it could not be more convenient, however they botched my face! I went in for waxing and the girl who was waxing took off my eyebrow!!! I left without giving them a single penny, and plan to never return. Also, when I asked the girl what her name was she said I don’t have a name and kept fighting me to pay them for the terrible service. I looked awful for about a month with no eyebrow. I highly recommend steering clear of this place, they do not know what they are doing.

I have interviews coming up and just moved into the building so on a whim walked in and gave the place a try. I’m so glad I did! There was so much attention to detail, the salon was clean, and the environment was cute and comfortable.

Me: U is the former Pink Polish Lakeview. The new owners have renovated it and brought in their own team. It is delightful, clean, and a peaceful environment. The nail techs are high quality, and I’ve had several excellent manicures there since they opened. They use a vitamin E treatment with the massage, and they have maintained the shoulder and neck massages of the former salon. I highly recommend it and hope they do well, as it is definitely a plus for the neighborhood.
