This place is one of the few places near my home in Lincoln Park where I can go to a real DJ-fueled nightclub and dance without having to cab it or CTA downtown. Bottle service prices are a lot better, too, and less of a wait. Our bartender quickly and competently made us cocktails on the strong side, which is more than I can say for some of the bars in the neighborhood — Max’s, i’m looking at you. Finding a crowd can be hit or miss, but Thursday is reliably full and they are starting a new«Heaven and Hell» themed night on Friday that I plan to check out.

I went to Fuze last weekend and went way too early and were thinking about leaving. But the bartender Lauren encouraged us to stay and made us awesome drinks. Around 10:30 the crowd started to pick up and by midnight it was packed. I’m so glad we stayed! It ended up being so much fun!

I was hesitant to book my bday party here as I hated Skybar, but the promoter, Jenny, assured me they had made some good changes and the crowd was much better, so i thought i’d give it a shot. I terribly regreat that choice. Jenny and I had agreed on a $ 30 wristband for 8 call drinks. I got there at 10:30, and they went to sell us a $ 25 well wristband that only had 7 tabs. I told them what Jenny and I had agreed on. The GM, Charles came up and said she had never told him about that, and helped us out. He ended up giving us the premium wrist band for $ 30 and gave us an 8th tab. He was nice, and I appreciated that, but it turned out more than half of my party was already there and hadn’t been given the right wristband. We walked in I am not exaggerating in any way when I say there was NOONE there that wasn’t with my party. Not a single person. We were hoping that in time the crowd would pick up. People came, but the dance floor was never crowded. I don’t know if we just picked a bad night, but I couldn’t believe how empty it was all night. The crowd was terrible. And I thought maybe it was because of the weather as it ended up pouring, but we went across the street to Max Bar and it was packed. Lastly, even though we had the premium wristbands on, the bartenders kept trying to give us well drinks. Twice after they started pouring I had to say something and they dumped it out and poured the premium. I would have thought the bartenders would see the color of the wristband and know right away to use the premium liquors. Charles was really nice, I have to say. He was great when we got there and he even came up to me later and asked if everything was going alright. I did appreciate that, but with everything else, it’s a good thing 20 of my friends showed up. I don’t think I’ll be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend Fuze to anyone.

I’ve been here once before when it was Skybar and it looks like things haven’t changed. I came here this past Saturday only because one of my friends invited me. We got here a little bit after 11 and this place was dead. There might have been 30 people there. We decided to grab a drink and wait it out for a little bit. After being there for no more than 30 minutes we decided to leave. We went across the street to the apartment and it was packed. I guess Fuze is doing something wrong.

DONOTGOHERE, UNLESSYOUWANTTOBEABUSEDBYBOUNCERS!!! I went here tonight for the first time. My friends and I were having a great time celebrating my birthday. At one point, I popped someone’s(a friend of the bouncer) balloon on the dance floor. This person became angry. I apologized and offered another ballon. A bouncer, Tony, stepped in to «stop a potential fight.» He talked with the girl whose balloon I popped and slapped me in the face. I know this sounds insane, but it really happened to me. I asked him why he slapped me and I told him I could speak to the police about this situation. The bouncer then picked me up and dragged me through the club and down the stairs, throwing my belongings as he went. Despite the fact that I repeatedly asked to be let down and told him I would gladly walk out, he threw me out the door and called me a «cunt.» IFYOUWANTTOBETREATEDLIKEGARBAGEBYTONYCOMEHERE. IFNOT, GOACROSSTHESTREETTOMAXI — they are polite and they won’t slap you. Not to mention, their music is far superior. If there were an opportunity to give no stars, I would. This situation may seem ridiculous. I mean, seriously, who gets physically assaulted over a balloon? I promise, it happened to me. And if you continue to support establishments like Fuse, this could happen to you too.

I went here for new years a couple years ago and it was really fun. We did a wristband deal for 8 to 12am for around $ 45 or $ 50. I tipped around $ 2-$ 3 per drink and got great service. The bouncers are very nice since I had some Chinese food earlier for dinner and had to use the restroom and since the door was missing for the stall a bouncer was ok with guarding the door for me while I did my business. I was very thankful and tipped him $ 10 and he was very appreciative. The door man was nice from what I remember but seemed a little stressed out. There were no bathroom attendants and the crowd was pretty much all early 20’s. I assume a lot of DePaul students go here. The place has 3 floors but they are all just around 1,000 square feet so not that big. Fun to dance but you will bump into other people. I would visit again if I were in the area.

Had a really fun night here with a big group of us. The bartender, Joanna, was really great in serving our party. The music was really good, it was hip hop, and the DJ took our request and it was just a really fun time. The laser beam added to the fun of dancing. Good place on Lincoln Ave.

*taps lip and stares blankly at screen* Where do I begin? Okay, so I used to frequent this place alot when it use to be Sky Bar. I had a few parties there back in the day. Parking is still a pain, i waited 20 minutes in a line outside to enter a club that wasnt even packed… they almost didnt let us in because my hubby was wearing gucci sneakers and the bouncer was yelling no gymshoes! But when we got inside there were a few ppl inside wearing high top sneakers… Seriously! The waitress gave me juice when I know I asked for some alcohol in that drink(7 bucks for a cup of juice?!) annnnd the ambience just seemed LAME. I dont know it just wasn’t what I expected. 2 stars cause parking sucks and so did the drinks and service. Boo!

I recently did business with Fuze promoting a party for black Wednesday. Although, we had made arrangements and agreements with the management a few things were changed the day of event… ie. telling us they were throwing another party and telling us we could not bring guest bartenders as previously agreed. I will say it did work out in the end. But the anxiety of trying to make things work were a little unnecessary. My only other gripe is we agreed to be paid at the end of event and it felt like a fiasco. I’m still not sure we got paid the right amount but I’ll have to take their word for it. I say do business with them but I suggest using a contract.

Best night club I have been to in a while! The music is Awesome, great drink specials, «$ 100 bottles of Goose». The staff is very friendly and has great customer service. The manager David was a great host and very attentive, «ladies he is also very cute!!» lol. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time. The only con is, the parking in Lincoln Park sucks, but Fuze offers valet.

Worst bar I have been to in years. I have never been treated so rudely. Will never go back and will never recommend. If your thinking of this place for any special occasion, look elsewhere. If it was possible to give no stars I would.

Fuze is a pretty average club. Its the only club of its kind in the lincoln park area which gives it uniqueness there. Drinks are decently priced. I usually know a bartender or 2 when i go places but they change here quite often. This is the type of place you want to go to with a group of friends if you really don’t go out much. You will have a good time. If you’re a 7 day party person like I am, this will bore you after a few visits

Music was decent enough to dance to. Place was barely enough to move around in. Dance floors are smaller compared to other places, so you get bumped quite a bit by people trying to get by. Drinks were decently priced 5⁄6 a beer, 7+ for drinks.

Oh.Hell.No. *The dj played a Miley Cyrus song. *A criminally drunk girl who should have been cut off/asked to leave bit, yes BIT, my face while I tried to escape her creepy advances. *The go-go dancers looked like they found their outfits in the dumpster behind Sybaris(think about that). *A friend of mine was turned away for wearing sneakers, while aforementioned drunk girl was wearing light bootcut jeans? Not to be a dick, but… oy This place is awful!

I used to frequent Sky Bar quite often. Then, I stopped hearing about it and my friends stopped mentioning it. Now, I’ve been hearing about Fuze. Turns out, Fuze is now the old Sky Bar. Well, isn’t that swell! Fuze is a fun atmosphere compacted into three floors. The second floor is where the magic happens. The DJ spins on this floor, and the main bar and VIP areas are also located on the 2nd floor. There’s a dance floor complete with fans blowing air onto you and your vivacious dance moves. I recall dancing to one of Beyonce’s many booty-shaking tunes while the air blew on my face. I swear, at that moment, I felt like I was, too, in a music video. Overall, the designated dance area was fun and filled with plenty of dancers(both good and bad). Also, there was a random man playing the bongos on the floor. I couldn’t tell if he was/wasn’t affiliated with the club, but I do know that he meshed extremely well with the sounds of Pitbull’s music. The VIP area is enclosed in the back part of the second floor. It’s a quaint area fully equipped with screens and couches for lounging. I liked the fact that you have your own private section in the back with bottle service. There was ample room for you and your party to fist pump, jump obscenely, or dance as if you’re in the next Juvenile video. The great thing is that you can go back and forth between your private party and the jungle dance floor. The drinks were moderately priced, and the staff/bartenders were friendly. The music was mostly hip-hop/top 40, and there was a diverse crowd. This place consistently delivers a good time. The only downside is that the DJ snuck in a lot of gangsta rap music. I’m all for gangsta rap, I mean, I do live in Chicago – how could I not? However, there is a time and place for gangsta rap and a club is not it! Easy on the Bone Thugs N Harmony and give me more David Guetta!
