So, I really don’t know how to contact this business about a fraudulent expense on my card when I was there earlier this week since whenever I try to get to their website, my computer flags it as un-safe. As it was mentioned in an earlier review that the owner got back to them about an issue, I will rely on Unilocal

It was awful. Drinks were weak. Music was ‘hip hop’ but was a little beyond what i consider hip hop. There was a $ 20 cover for my bf. We left in 10 min. Won’t be back.

Hostess on Sunday is extremely rude. Never been there before, stepped out of elevator and am shortly told $ 20. No hello or even a full sentence that I could comprehend.

I always receive great hospitality when I come here. Great spot with a diverse crowd. Bottle service prices are well priced. I“m personally a big hip hop fan. So this spot is my go to when I want to hear great hip hop music. The owner Alexander is very nice as well. 5 stars because I’ve always had a good time here.

I kept my word, and I came back! The owner really does care about the atmosphere and makes sure that everyone is having a good time. I always love to see businesses that take feedback constructively and use it to better their businesses: GRAFFITI is one of them! The music is really REALLY good, I mean, they have it on point for what the atmosphere and size of the venue is. The drinks are always good– not too watery or expensive. I really enjoy this place, and I will continue to hit up GRAFFITI when I am out in River North.

Enjoyed the intoxicating backdrop of Chicago’s Hubbard St skyline. We overindulged at the GRAFFITI Lounge penthouse, and really enjoyed the DJs and Producers.

A fight broke out. Very crowded. Restroom for men is small. High cover fee. The elevator entrance is a little inconvenient. However music was good.

The crowd can be better. Paid off the guy in the front to avoid the line. Came up to realize that there were 20 some people that were in the place. Its Okay… nothing worth waiting in line for.

I went here around midnight on a Saturday. The fact that this was the only bar on Hubbard without a line should have been a dead give away that this place sucks. There were a handful of people awkwardly standing around, not really dancing or socializing. The DJ was okay, but there is no atmosphere here. Drinks were also more expensive than other near by bars.

Went here after dinner on a Saturday around 10:30. It wasn’t super busy but it also wasn’t slow. Around this time you can grab a table easily — first come first served. But we had a table reservation and got to pick from whatever table we want. I talked to a promoter who set everything up for us. We got bottle service which wasn’t too expensive, a bottle of champagne and a bottle of goose for $ 300. When we finished those two bottles we ordered anything else we wanted in group format. ie a bucket of beer for like $ 4 a beer. Graffiti is a more artsy type of place. Nice painting on the wall. And they even have paintings that are for sell. The balcony has nice cabana type of tables with a nice view of the city. It’s on the 8th floor so don’t expect to see over the city. Music was great. Everyone was dancing. I had no sense of drama anywhere the entire night. Everyone had fun. I’ll definitely come back.

Not the biggest spot, but comfortable enough to have a good time. EDM on Sun nights, drinks priced on avg. Great view on the balcony

This is such a tacky place as they only seem to cater to someone that’s a 10 +…How tacky Staff is not quality… in particular one female. H.H. Acted better than any patron in there it was extremely rude with all the nice night clubs and trendy bars in Chicago skip this one and choose another

Graffiti is a lounge located off of Hubbard. Perhaps it is just me, but it was kind of difficult to spot right off of the street. I take that back, the sign is evident, but because this is located on an upper floor you have to figure out how to get up there. Again, maybe it was because I was showing up early in the night(around 6) so it was less apparent as to where I needed to go. It is located close to a restaurant and what seems like living complexes. Once you pick the right door to get in then you go onto the elevator. The ‘elevator guy’ knew Graffiti is where I was trying to go and asked me my name for verification. I guess I was on a list. Once you get up there it is pretty small. Not in a bad way, it is simply skinny and long. You walk right off of the elevator straight to the bar. Can’t complain. To your left is the DJ and a lounge area with couches and chairs. To the right is more of a standing or potential dancing area with lounge couches lining the wall. The washroom is to the back right as well. Graffiti is dark, similar to a club, and have televisions playing sports. I guess the music will trend towards the type of event you are there for. It is small. There is only one bar and when I was there they only had two bartenders. Once it became busy this created large backup with people trying to get more drinks as well as trying to close their tabs. Graffiti is a premium like experience in terms of drink prices. Maybe it is not a Gold Coast level but it is more than your regular sports bar as expected.

I came to Graffiti on Saturday to celebrate my friend’s bday and we had such a good time! We got a cabana area for a reasonable price. Luis and Alex who manage the place even brought us out a complimentary bottle of champagne and the servers were always checking on us and being polite! I would definitely recommend Graffiti to everyone!

At first I was very hesitant to come here cuz some of the reviews! But the reviews are saying they don’t want ghetto people or big over weight intoxicated people there ! I think that’s great all bars should stick to that! Awesome drink specials just ask the bartender! The staff was very friendly — food was good and best part about it they have it for free some days ! Can’t beat free food !!! Plus the ladies in the place where very beautiful

We had a terrible experience here last weekend for my bachelorette party. The bouncer was terrible and rude. Had us standing and wouldn’t acknowledge us. He stood there and ignored us and then had the nerve to say that our group was too intoxicated to get in when it was the first place we were going to. They were discriminating and saying that the appearance of some of our girls was not up to par or one girl was«too big» and only 7 of the 9 girls could get in. Terrible!

I love this place. I have been sending my clients here since the new reveal. Adam and his staff are amazing and the feedback we receive is always A+. The bartenders are fast and pleasant and the music makes you want to dance. Good job!

This one of the worst bars in Chicago and this is my second review for them. This was formerly known as NV penthouse and has been rename to GRAFFITI. a typical move for a bar/lounge burdened with bad reviews and desperate to try and get foot traffic through he door. We were there a few weeks ago and not only did we get no service but an attitude to go with from the girl working the bar. The«manager» initially tried to be concerned but then decided to not send anyone to take our order after having been told that the service is horrible. Finally, on the way out, the manager gave some nonsensical excuse about the patio being closed when clearly there were people there. Overall, a horrible place and a very incompetent manager(Glasses, Asian). We won’t be seeing you again and will make sure no one we know does either! Also, the drinks are extremely expensive($ 10 average) so that further ruins the experience. And oh did I mention this place was mostly empty on a Saturday night! A bad sign right there! Zero fun and go at your own risk!

I’d give this joint one star, but for once I found a club since castle closed with decent music. My complaint is with the service. I got there around 2 am on a saturday, so the crowd had mostly cleared out, yet it still took the bar tender 20 minutes to serve anyone because he was so messed up on what i can only assume was molly or ecstasy. He was really enthusiastic one we DID finally get served, but then i watched this man stare at his POS system for about 20 minutes trying to close my bill. My guess is his pupils were too dilated to focus on anything with an LED screen. Security and the rest of the staff seemed to all be on drugs as well. It’s definitely messed up when the bar patrons are more sober than the employees. Don’t expect this place to last much longer.

I noticed the green NV Penthouse sign was missing on Hubbard Street and realized in it’s replacement is Graffiti. My friend heard it’s a lounge, but also a good place to go for Happy Hour. We left our prior happy hour spot and headed here around 8:00pm on a Friday. You take the elevator to the second floor. When we got off it was packed! Like club packed… I was feeling a club vibe versus a lounge feel since there’s no place to sit. Place is pretty narrow and getting a drink at the bar was hard. A definite positive was the music though(hip hop). We only stayed about an hour or 2 cause I was sick of standing around and Theory plays the same music down the street, but I can sit, eat, and listen to music there. I think those looking for a club atmosphere will like Graffiti.

I didn’t realize NV Penthouse was no longer in existence! This place picks up where NV left off with great music and a cool atmosphere. You still gotta take the elevator up and the high level patio is still there. My boys from Civilized Empire threw a nice little party this past Friday and it was awesome. The DJ played the right music and the crowd was just right. Bartenders were able to turn drinks around in a very quick manner considering the amount of people that were at the bar screaming for more drinks. The beer selection could be better though.

March 6, 2015 Finding the time to check-in let alone review is definitely extremely hard. This location has a lounge kind of vibe. I had a great time since Cabernet Sauvignon usually hits the spot. This place definitely has potential. Quite cozy I must say. It’s my virgin experience in this location. I’ll come back again to chill out with friends. Definitely, a little gem in the wall. By the way, the bartenders are quite attractive!

This place is full of potential! The music was on point! Danced to every song. Will be a really fun place once more people discover this place. Nice to have another club/lounge with good music on Hubbard. Balcony area will be awesome when the weather gets nicer.

Would def come back. Visited this place when it used to be NV Penthouse and I can honestly say that Graffiti is way more happenin. I booked a party here for my sister’s 21st and one of the managers, Alex, was really easy to work with.
