Harry Caray’s 7th Inning Stretch

HOLY COW!!! food was fair service was good overall it was a nice experience got to watch the game and as an added bonus get free tix to the sports museum in water tower. Really can’t beat it if you got dragged to the mall on a Sunday and want to watch the game and grab a bite while the girls shop.

This restaurant just opened up recently, so was quite surprised to hear that there was a Harry Caray’s in Water Tower Place. There’s an express elevator that takes you straight to the 7^th floor, so that’s quite convenient.
The service here isn’t that great. Came here with some colleagues and the three of us all ordered milkshakes. One mentioned that she wanted water too. So the waiter brought out ONE WATER. Ummm… I feel like most other places will bring out water automatically for everybody, or if one person requests for it, they’ll still bring it out for EVERYBODY. So while she was sipping on water while we waited for our drinks and lunch, I was dying of thirst because the waiter disappeared. Every time he did happen to sneak by, I couldn’t get his attention as he made a beeline for the other tables he was serving.
Eventually was able to flag him down about 10 minutes later and get some agua. I ordered the pan seared whitefish, which came with haricot verts and a goat cheese potato hash. The goat cheese potato hash was DIVINE — - my favorite part of the meal. The whitefish was pretty good too. Very happy overall with my meal.
Just the inability to get water within the first 20 minutes knocks this from a 4 to a 3 star rating. Very cool interior with all the sports paraphernalia though! I like the sinks in the restroom too! :)
