I literally found a piece of plastic with some cheese stuck on it still in my cheese fries and when I called to tell M Burger about it the manager said that the only day she can give me a refund or an exchange on those fries was the day of. Not any other day but just the day of. Terrible customer service. The manager didn’t even apologize about the problem. The cheese fries were good. if you don’t mind a piece of plastic occasionally.

Burgers are very oily. But they gave plenty of Napkins for us to wipe our hands. There is cup and water for customers who didn’t order drinks. The jalapeño fries smells really good from afar.

Few weeks ago I had a turkey burger and found a piece of unidentified plastic object embedded in the turkey patty. The object was over an inch long and completely ruined my meal. I complained to the manager and was going to take the plastic object with me as evidence but the he refused to let me take it. He gave me 2 free burger passes and offered to send me gift certificates which I never received. The pass/gift certificate won’t do me any good because I will not be going back.

Tucked away in the mezzanine level of Water Tower(which I avoid like the plague), M Burger is a tiny QSR amongst the stir of confused tourists. The good: The fries. Not greasy or crazy salted. Shoestring fries in a well-filled paper sleeve. The milkshake. Thick and chocolate my, though I might prefer vanilla next time. The not so good: The small, over priced burger was more toppings than meat. I wouldn’t persuade anyone against this place, but I probably won’t return. Maybe to a different location.

You’re typical burger joint. One of the employees felt it was needed to sweep while we were eating, literally under our feet

I look forward to returning to M Burger when I actually try their burgers and fries. At this point I have only tried their dip cones and they are delicious! Tastes just like dairy queen! Provided that this is in a mall food court, the service was quick and easy on a Saturday afternoon! There is not a lot of seating inside the actual restaurant though

Chicken sandwich is delicious and juicy. Their fries are yummy. I just feel claustrophobic here so just sit out in the mezzanine.

FIRSTTIMEROVERHERE… And woah… Did not expect this coming at all, but swung by the other night craving a fast food burger and I have to say I may have found my favorite $ 5 burger. Consider this a compliment coming from a California kid who grew up on In-N-Out double doubles. I’m impressed. The double hurt burger hit the spot like no other for me. The medium was just the perfect spice with that tangy spicy bbq and pepper jack cheese and if I recall correctly sliced jalapenos. Fries were perfection. Also, enjoyed I could ease that spicy off with a pint of beer fresh off the tap. Too much goodness in one sitting. Browsin’ their website I saw this link for a «SECRETMENU»… I’m seeing In-N-Out parallels over here. Will need to do some more investigating… Also, thank you for not rushing me even though I was still eating my burger in the dining area past the 8:30pm closing time. ’til next time, cheers! FYI attached photo does not do this meal justice.

M Burger is nothing complicated. Many people have described it as an upscale imitator of McDonald’s, and that really does hit the nail on the head. The primary difference is the quality — you’re a lot less likely to wind up having gas for some reason, the cheese is a lot nicer, and the beef has a superior texture. My only real beef, if you will, is that the fries only come in one size, and that size is large. I can never finish them if I am eating here by myself — which is often the case, as I work in the building. I’d actually buy them more often if a smaller portion size were available at a lower price. The basic grilled chicken sandwich is still available off-menu, even though they swapped it out for the Chicken Betty among the advertised offerings. It’s pretty good, but I’ve found that you have to order chicken well-done here to get it fully cooked. But if you’re after chicken, Chick Fil A is only a couple blocks away and does that much better; M Burger is about beef.

I wasn’t blown away with this place, but the burger was good. Far from the best, that’s for sure, but above average. I’m doing the low carb thing, so I was glad to see I could order the burger salad style — wrapped in lettuce and no bun. I did try a couple of my wife’s fries, and they were pretty darn good. I took a sip of her shake, and that was very good too. This is a good place to get good food on a busy Saturday night at the mall. I’d come again.

My first time coming to this M Burger, I was not a fan. I gave a bad review and told myself I would never be back. A few days later, I was contacted by the manager of the restaurant assuring me that my experience was not normal, and that I should try M Burger again. The fact that the manager cares enough about customer satisfaction that they are spending their time personally contacting me leaves me very impressed. This time around, my burger was delicious. I had no temperature problems, the bun tasted fresh as well as the ingredients. The fries were good just like my last time, and I substituted a shake for an ice cream cone this time around. My food was ready almost instantly and I was treated well by the staff. I am glad I was convinced to try M Burger again. I recommend the restaurant if you are looking for a good burger and some ice cream to go along with it.

Burger joint in the mall. I like the concept, they reminded me of 5 guys on one level, but the burgers were pretty tasty. The fries were damn good too. The service was quick and easy, and they weren’t too expensive either. However. they were crowded because of the way their table set up is.

I really like this place! I came here about a week ago for the first time, and got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. For the price, the food was great! The service was great, the burger was hot and melty, and the fries were crispy. What more can you ask for? I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Does the M stand for McDonalds? Rough first try at somewhere which I had high hopes. They’ve got great marketing and seem to be popular with locals, but my experience was nothing special. I’ll have to try again sometime because maybe what I got was an outlier. They messed up my non-complicated order. The coke coming out of their dispenser was a sad and scary concoction. The fries were bland, I mean… bland for fries. I was going to give it 2 stars but my wife liked her burger. If you make my wife happy, You get a bonus star. Congrats.

I want to start by saying this place is disgusting. The employees were rude and the cleanliness of the establishment was unacceptable. See pictures for details. I don’t think I’ll be back to this location. It’s too much of a hassle for an average burger. Corporate or management should really look into this location.

I recently visited the M Burger location in Water Tower Place. While the food was OK here, I thought other M Burger locations cranked out a better product. The Hurt Burger just sort of tasted mediocre, the weakest link of my meal this evening — and that should NOT be the case when«Burger» is in your title. The fries were pretty good, and the orange dream shake of the month was fine, but overall nothing bowled me over.

***This location is inside of the Water Tower, in the lower level food court area. As such, there isn’t that much space, and the noise level is loud.*** I’ve been to M Burger many times, and each time I hope it gets better. But at the end of the day it still strikes me as an average fast food burger with the slight pretense that it may be better. The patties are so small, it’s not even worth getting the single option, double all the way if you want some satisfaction. The Hurt Burger is the only one really packing some flavor(I prefer mild heat, but have also had medium and been able to take it), but you will want to ask for extra sauce. But really the sauce and pepperjack are just covering over the blandness of the meat and bun. The fries and shakes are a bit better though. Fries are thin(not quite shoestring thin) and crispy. The salt they use to season is good, but they put on a tad too much. Shakes are solid, creamy, and probably the only thing on the menu that is priced at its true value. So get a shake.

The Heat Is On! Been to a few M Burgers, and overall they’re pretty nifty. The single-patty items are a little pricey, and the fries are just so-so, but the shakes are great and the super-secret menu is an awesome feature. Particularly, I love that their ‘hurt’ burger(pepper jack cheese, fresh un-seeded jalepeno slices, fiery bbq sauce) has several tiers of intensity. Encountered some communication problems with the register girl. I had to repeat my order several times, and at one point she asked me if I wanted my hurt burger wrapped in lettuce. What? Why would I want that? All in all, she gave me a very deer-in-headlights look, which was a frustrating experience. She also neglected to give me a drink cup at first. I ordered the ‘hurt’ burger with heat level 3, the maximum setting. This greatly perplexed her, but thankfully, one of the guys in the kitchen overheard me asking them to ‘step it up a notch’, and he shot me a «yo bro I GOTCHU!» When my order number was called, I verified«this is a level 3, right?» to which I was told«…it’s more like a level 5.» Perfect. LET’S DOTHIS. ~Sticky Fingers Challenger~ Watertower Place M Burger ’Hurt’ Burger — Level 5 4⁄4 screaming skulls Verdict: ow ow OWWWW. So much pain, so much pleasure. Symptoms include watery eyes, runny nose, intense facial coloration, shortness of breath… and euphoria. I would NOT recommend that ANYONE attempt to do what I did, because it’s foolish and prideful and will in all likelihood send your internal organs into a massive panic attack. Caty D: «are you okay? you’re turning weird colors» Me: «yep fine» *wipes sweat from forehead* Caty D: «do I need to call an ambulance?» Me: «nahhhh…probably not… I don’t know… maybe.» Honestly guys, I struggled to keep my sh*t together. I can handle nearly anything spicy that’s thrown at me, and M Burger’s hidden«Level 5» Hurt Burger was at the exact threshold of what my body can tolerate. Anything more, and it would’ve been inedible. It was indeed that hot. As much as I valued the experience, once was enough. I’ll stick to a more modest level 2 or 3 henceforth. But all in all, I would certainly return again for a burger + shake + fries. I’ll end this one with a lyric from 80’s supergroup ‘The Power Station’: «Some like it hot and some sweat When the heat is on Some feel the heat and decide That they can’t go on Some like it hot but you can’t Tell how hot ’til you try Some like it hot, so let’s Turn up the heat ’til we fry»

Mall Burger M Burger is the upscale McDonalds of Lettuce Entertain You, a corporation that owns a lot of well-known Chicagoland restaurants. There are several M Burger locations in Chicago, but I’ve only ate at this one which is located by the«food court» on the Mezzanine Level(between the 1st&2nd Floor) in The Water Tower Place in Chicago, IL. This fast-food joint sells burgers, fries, soft-serve ice cream & shakes. They also offer an all natural chicken sandwich, a free-range turkey burger, a vegetarian sandwich & a chopped chicken salad if beef isn’t your baby! If you are counting carbs or calories, or follow a paleo diet, you can request your sandwich or burger to be «salad-style» which is lettuce-wrapped at no extra charge. I ordered a salad-style, free-range turkey burger with tomato & pickles. The burger was juicy & tasty but the lettuce-wrapping was a MF fail! There was only a few pieces of limp, iceberg lettuce draped over the top of the burger nothing around the bottom. A pre-schooler coulda wrapped better than that! The burger was only $ 3.99 so maybe I shouldn’t complain as I’m used to paying at least $ 10 for a t-bird at most places. FYI: The burger should be completely wrapped in one tight, neat, cohesive, crisp lettuce«bun» like they do at Five Guys & In-N-Out. This isn’t brain surgery people! I got a side order of M Fries which only comes in one size for $ 2.29. You get a bag the size a lil bigger than a small-size fry at McDonalds. M fries are kinda similar to McD’s fries too except a lil fancier. These skinny guys are natural-cut & tossed in sea salt. Not the best or worst fries I’ve ever had, but they’re pretty Mmm tasty! Some M-iscellaneous notes: The restaurant is small, not a lot of seating; self-serve fountain drinks; yummy-looking soft-serve: all natural, low-fat M ice cream & shakes sold but I didn’t try; food is made-to-order & they call out your number when it’s ready to be picked up at the counter.(Also, luv the restaurant name, M is my fave letter!) I had a taste for a burger so I stopped to eat here while I was shopping at the Water Tower Place. Would I make a special trip to this M Burger just to eat here if I wasn’t shopping in the Water Tower, Mmm no. But I was impressed that M Burger offers a free-range turkey burger for $ 3.99 albeit unimpressed by the shoddy wrap-job! However my entire bill was only $ 6.94(includes tax, no drink). Really you can’t beat that with a drum for lunch on the Mag Mile in Chicago, IL! So if you’re shoppin’ in the Water Tower & ya have a hankerin’ for a hamburger, I don’t hesitate to tell ya to take a break & eat at M Burger. It’s sure to be the cheapest purchase you make in the Water Tower. M Burger is conveniently located, is a step up from McDs & is servin’ up some pretty Mmm good fast food!

This was my first time at M burger and I loved what I got… — Cheeseburger salad style. Juicy, meaty, tasty, delicious. — Fries were crispy, fresh and hot Great prices, most stuff is less than $ 5.
